-> Author's note: Hey guys, this is the first time I'm posting something for others to read so I'm sorry if it's not that good, I still have a lot to learn when it comes to writing. English is also not my first language so excuse me if there are any grammar errors or mistakes. I hope anyone who reads it likes it and I would appreciate some feedback and/or constructive criticism. Thank you :)

A storm raged outside, the wind howling and the rain harshly lashing against the floor to ceiling windows of Seungcheol's cozy apartment. Inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, starkly contrasting the chaos happening beyond the apartment's walls. Seungcheol and Y/n sat on the dark blue couch placed in the centre of the living room, wrapped in a big, knitted blanket, watching a movie. Or at least, trying to — Y/n was finding it hard to focus on what was happening in the tv in front of her, her thoughts drifting to the comforting presence of the person beside her.

Lighting flashed once more, briefly illuminating the room and Y/n shivered, not from the cold but from the intensity of the storm that had already been going on for a few hours. She turned her head towards Seungcheol, who was too engrossed in the film to even pay attention to whatever may be happening outside, his arm lightly but comfortingly resting around her shoulders. Seeing how focused he was, she hesitated for a moment, feeling somewhat shy despite their recent transition from friends to something more romantic.

"Cheollie," she said softly, after taking a deep breath, her voice being almost drowned out by a particularly loud clap of thunder.

He immediately turned to her, concern flashing in his eyes and worry etched on his face. "Yeah? What happened?"

She bit her lip, feeling her cheeks flushing under his gaze. "Can I borrow one of your sweaters? Maybe the one you wore yesterday?"

Her request made Seungcheol blink, slightly puzzled but not unwilling. "Of course you can, love. But why do you want that one? Not that it got dirty yesterday, but would you not rather wear a washed one?"

Y/n shyly ducked her head, feeling a bit silly for a moment before gathering enough courage to explain. "It smells like you. It's...comforting."

Seungcheol's expression finally softened into a tender and loving smile, dimples on full display. "I'd be happy to go get it for you." He said before he stood and walked in the direction of his bedroom, returning just a few moments later with the pink sweater she had asked for. As he handed it to her, their fingers brushed, sending a tingle up her arm.

"Here you go," he uttered, before sitting back down on the couch beside her. "You know, you're welcome to anything of mine, anytime. You don't have to be nervous about asking me for something."

Y/n pulled the sweatshirt over her head, being immediately enveloped in the scent of Seungcheol's cologne mixed with something so uniquely him that it made her feel warm inside and she could swear she felt her heart swell with love and admiration for the man beside her. She sighed contentedly before snuggling back into his side. "Thank you, Cheol. You don't know how much better this makes me feel."

He pulled her close once more, this time wrapping both arms around her to cuddle more comfortably. "I'm glad, love. I kind of like seeing you wearing my clothes you know? They suit you." He told her, admiring the way his sweater fell on her, the hem reaching her thighs that were covered with a pair of thick sweatpants.

His admission made her laugh softly, the sound being once again almost lost in a loud rumble of thunder but still able to reach his ears and making his expression soften even more, a fond look making its way to his eyes. "Do you really?" She asked him quietly.

"Yeah...I really, really do," he affirmed, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "You can keep it, if you want it."

At this Y/n looked up at him, letting him see how her eyes sparkled even in the dim lighting of the room. "I think I might just do that."

They settled back into a comfortable silence, the movie playing on tv now being mostly ignored, as the two basked in each other's embrace. Wrapped in her lover's sweater, Y/n felt a sense of security and happiness she hadn't felt in a long time and in that moment, she was sure that no matter what, no storm would ever be able to destroy the life they were just starting to build together. And with Seungcheol by her side, she knew that they would be able to overcome whatever challenges may head their way, as long as they have each other.

"Y/N come downstairs dinners ready!!" Your mom yelled, you sighed not wanting to hear anymore "jokes" about Chan but at the same time you do.

Chan has already left for Korea but it's already been years since you've last talked, the last thing you said to him was "When your rich and famous, buy me my own house, and a really big, big, big one, one by the beach!" Y/n sighed and giggled softly remembering that moment in time, you now can only "see him" when watching Stray Kids content, looking at the screen giggling about jokes that members say, but you found yourself acting differently to Chan. You would always feel fuzzy and happy when you see him on screen, you blames your inner child being happy to see Chan, you even blame your inner child for acting all fuzzy and happy when you pulls a photo card of Chan.

Y/n finally got down stairs dragging yourself waiting to hear the giggles of your parents.

"Y/n guess what your mom made?" Y/n's dad giggled his back turned helping mom place stuff on a tray.

Y/n huffed and rolled her eyes and sat down "What?" Y/n mumbled not ready to hear the stupid joke.

"Banchan!" Your dad and mom turned around with the side dishes, you gave them a sarcastic smile.

"Wow that's so funny I crying..." You say flatly with a straight uninterested face.

Your mom and dad were giggling setting up the table and placing the food down, you noticed that there was more food that usual.

"Uh mom I think you made to much food...who's going to eat this all?" You looked up at them kinda confused.

"Well-" Your dad was cut off by the knocking of the front door, your mom and dad both looked at each other with a big smile on their faces.

Y/n raised her eyebrow, "I'll go get the door..." You mumbled suspiciously and walked to the door not even looking through the peep hole before unlocking it and opening the door to see...

"Hello- oo...oh.." You trailed off your eyes widened when you figured out who it was.

"Chan?" You breathed out surprised to see him obviously. He had a bouquet of flowers in his hand smiling softly.

"Hey Y/n."

You were in your bed, curled up in a ball and crying. Jungkook just got home from work and took a shower, leaving you in your misery for longer than you had hoped.

Once he got out of the shower we heard you crying. He wrapped a towel around his waist and walked out of the bathroom, heading to the bedroom.

Jungkook saw you curled up and crying into a plushie he had bought you a while ago. He gave it to you so you wouldn't feel lonely while he was at work.

"Baby?" He whispers to you, putting a hand on your lower back. He rubs it gently before sitting down beside you.

You sob, "kookie."

"Shh, what's the matter. Hm?" He was gentle with his movements and words, "can you tell me?"

"Cramps..." You mutter between cries, you look at him and see how concerned he is. It makes you feel warm inside to know he cares.

Jungkook got up and put the towel down, he then put on some underwear and walked back over to you. He was very good at dealing with this, he's been dating you for a while now and he knows you well.

"Can you do me a favor sweetie?" Jungkook made his tone soft, knowing you needed to be treated gently. He knows you get super sensitive while you're on your period.

You nod, "y-yeah."

"Okay, I need you to sit up." Jungkook spoke, getting cut off by a whine. He knows you don't like to move. "I'll help you. But you need to get up, you're putting too much pressure on your back."

He was right. The way you were laying wasn't very helpful towards yourself. It puts more pressure on your uterus and makes it hurt worse.

He smiled softly and helped you. He grabbed your arm and wrapped his arm around your waist, trying to be as gentle as he possibly could.

He went slowly to assure you it wouldn't hurt too much. He kisses your forehead and cheeks, trying to distract you from the pain.

"Mmh-" you let out a soft cry making him feel bad. He held your back up and pressed his palm over your lower abdomen; putting pressure on your uterus for comfort.

He kisses your temple, "is that okay sweetheart?"

"Yeah, thank you." You sniffle.

He smiles softly, "don't thank me. It's my job to take care of you."

He kisses your forehead and cheeks a few more times before pecking your lips. He kept his palm on your lower abdomen and put more pressure every couple minutes to ease you.

You grasp his wrist and moan in pain, "ah. Ow!"

"Hey, take a deep breath." Jungkook puts his nose against yours and sees your chest raise up for a few seconds and lower when you exhale. "That's a good girl."

His words made you flustered, but it made you forget about the pain. There was still a lurking feeling of tightness in your chest from crying, making you feel nauseous.

Jungkook keeps his hand on your belly and hums, "what's the matter babe?"

"Nauseous-" you mumble. He nods in understanding and leaves you for a moment, coming back a minute later with a bucket and a small cup of water.

You smile softly, grateful for him. You shake your head as you see him approach making him chuckle.

"Oh hush. I just love you, that's all." He chuckled again and sat back beside you, handing you the bucket.

You lean over the bucket, not feeling the urge to throw up just yet. Jungkook rubbed your lower back and hummed a tune.

You sigh, "I feel like shit."

Jungkook giggles, "well you don't look like shit." You gave him a look and he smiles, "you're too beautiful to feel like shit!"

You laugh, "shut up!"

"No way." He kisses you.
