If you’re feeling bad about how you regress in any way I’ve just gotta say it: you’re a silly lil goober.

How are you going to argue that your own feelings are invalid to yourself. They’re feelings. They’re happening. They can be good or bad or anything between.

They do exactly what they are biologically required to do. It is evolutionarily advantageous for you to have these feelings, else you would not have them. You are not hurting anyone. You are surviving as is intended.

I don’t need to make a list of types of regressors that are rad. Regression is rad. End of story.

Signs I’m Regressing:

I try to include my stuffie(s) in the activity we’re doing

I carry a comfort item around

I am partially or completely loss of speech (only while regressed/temporary)

I get overly excited about little things

I get spacey/ dissociate

I get clingy, or whiny

I don’t want to be alone

It’s later in the day, I don’t know about others but I regress closer to night time

I’m more sensitive

I want to watch kid shows/movies

My voice changes, usually higher pitched or just softer/quieter

I’m giggly

I want to be held/hugged, or touched in some way, like holding hands

Hello! My name is Lux, I'm transgender, and use He/Him pronouns, I'm sort of new to the agere community, so if I get things wrong, lemme know! I don't like saying my big age because it makes me feel uncomfy, but I tend to regress to 4-6 (unsure). I have ADHD (most likely Autism too), DID, anxiety and depression. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing here, but I'm gonna try to make my blog a fun and safe place for other regressors, or non regressors! DNI if kink (all forms), anti-agere, anti-petre, transphobic, homophobic, ableist etc. I might not be consistent with posting, but I'll try. Get comfortable! If it’s too cold, turn on the heater and put on some comfy pajamas.

Look at kid friendly content! I recommend making a side blog (if you don’t already have one) for strictly sfw content! Before regressing I usually go through my tumblr dashboard :)

Think of something to do and get your stuff! Things like coloring pages, work sheets, plushies, toys.

Make a little space playlist with songs that make you feel little or listen to one made by someone else. There’s lots of playlists on Youtube or Spotify. When I made my playlist I added lots of songs that made me feel positively nostalgic :)

Make noises! This might seem weird but I like to go waaaaawawaawwoowow !! If you don’t want anyone to hear you, try typing it in your notes, on your blog or in your cgs chat, if you have one :) (My dms are also open for weird noises)

Get comfort food or drinks! Usually when I regress, I like to get some choccy milk beforehand.

Start baby talking in your head. You might be uncomfortable to talk to yourself when you’re alone. Baby talking in your head might help. Big thoughts turn into little thoughts :)
