I wanted to commission something for my husband and my gaming channel so I went to look at who had open commissions. I saw @choco-minto‘s work, fell in love with the art style and knew this is what I wanted.
I’ve never commissioned anything before, so I didn’t know if I was giving the right details that was needed, but my hand was held through the process and this wonderful artwork appeared 48 hours later. It captures the relationship my husband and I have so well and I could not be more thrilled with the result.
I believe @choco-minto is still taking commissions and you are insane for not getting one. No, really. Go now.

Society at large sees video games as nothing but the domain of mountain dew guzzling, cheetos dust smearing troglodytes. But how accurate is this view?
The vast majority of people who play video games are by and large, decent human beings with lives, jobs, and interests beyond video games. Video games, like books and movies, are simply a pastime—a hobby.
We can’t let a small vocal minority of self-described ‘gamers’ and gamer ‘activists’ define the scene for the rest of us, especially when video games are poised to attain mainstream acceptance simply because they wish to hold us back.
It’s my view that games will one day become as accepted in the mainstream as films and books are, without the stigma of having a negative ‘gamer culture’ associated with it. But for that to happen, we have to shape the culture around us into the reality we wish for it to be.

Grunt (Mass Effect) Inspired Outfit
This outfit is a sporty take on Grunt’s in-game armor in the Mass Effect series. I wanted to bring in elements of grey and blue like his in-game armor. How perfect are those adidas sneakers for Grunt? I also thought that the grey hoodie’s collar resembles his shell-looking armor.
Get the look! / Get the game!

Drakengard 3 review: personality conflict
Drakengard 3 refuses to make concessions in its brashness.
It hits the ground running with dirty humor and liberal use of swear words. It stars an angry, unlikable protagonist whose goal is to kill her own siblings. Every line of dialogue is either a shallow threat or blatant innuendo. There wasn’t much I liked initially.

BM has absolutely been the worst as of late!
In the past few days, there have been a lot of controversy and negative press around the geeky clothing company, Black Milk Clothing. I wanted to take this opportunity to share my experience with their company and why I will not support them.
So let’s go back to 2012. My lovely...

Available exclusively at The Bethesda Store:
Limited to only 5,000 individually numbered editions, the Wolfenstein®: The New Order™ Panzerhund Edition comes in a vintage footlocker-style box (measuring approximately 20” x 10.5” x 8.5”) with a stamped number plate right above the antiqued clasp.
Inside, you’ll find a classified folder affixed to the lid containing 11 classified documents (an assortment of maps, case files, and even an x-ray).
The bulk of the footlocker houses an 8” articulated Panzerhund statue. Made of high quality vinyl material (PVC and ABS) the statue is hand painted, includes a base, and strikes a surprisingly menacing pose for a scaled-down replica.
Inset in a velvet-lined tray is an exclusive Steelbook, and a set of 14 full-color weathered-looking postcards of the game’s alternate history, bound in a display book.
Lifting this tray reveals compartments housing a set of three high-quality, embroidered patches, and a box containingcustom molded replica dog tags, looped and knotted on twine string.
This collector’s edition does not include a copy of the game. Keep your pre-order at your favorite retailer and we’ll send you these goodies separately—this way we can ship these boxes worldwide and you’re not stuck waiting for your game to come along with an oversized, expensively shipped box.

Dark Brotherhood ANGL Hoodie Review
Packing your bags for GDC or PAX East? I got the hoodie for you. The Dark Brotherhood ANGL Hoodie from Bethesda Store ($58) is the a great accessory. This black and wine colored hoodie offers a subtle way to show your Elder Scrolls fandom in a fashionable way.
PROS:
Unique and stylish fit unlike many other hoodies in the market
Thumb holes are the perfect way to keep your hands warm with gloves
High-quality, soft fabric that keeps your warm
Durable construction so it will last
Love the contrast on the sleeves with the wine and black. It’s very unique and cool use of color blocking
Subtle reference to the Dark Brotherbood with “We Know” that celebrates the game rather than a marketing logo
The oversized hood is perfect for napping on airplanes and curling up
CONS:
The open pockets can make you look wider since they sit on your hips. I’d love to see a version with premium, subtle zippers to keep the fabric down on the hips. If you have hips and curves like me, I’d suggest ordering a size up to be safe.
While the hood is good for napping, it’s just way too big on my head for practical use so I have to fold the hood which isn’t ideal for the rainy transition to Spring.
While I love pieces of the design elements, all of it comes together in a busy way with the contrasting colors, logo and unique cut. I just think it’s too much at once for one piece.
The construction of the hoodie is really meant to be worn zipped either all the way or part-way up so you can’t really wear it open on a warmer day.
SECOND OPINIONS:
“I would definitely recommend this hoodie to any Elder Scrolls fan. It’s extremely comfortable, stylish, and wearable (especially during this spring transitional weather). “ - Amanda McGinnis of Console To Closet
“This hoodie design is the most flattering and warm sweatshirt I’ve ever owned.” - Amy Radcliffe of Fashionably Geek
OVERALL:
I’d recommend it but I’d personally suggest the N7 version before this one. While I love the fit and style elements of the hoodie, it all comes together in a bit of busy format.
I applaud Bethesda and Treehouse Brand Stores for continuing to create apparel and accessories for women and constantly improving on their offerings. While this hoodie has come a way since the original version with some new perks like thumbholes, there’s still more progress to be made for them to make the perfect hoodie for me. If the sleeves were all black, the pockets had zippers and the hood was smaller, I would’ve given it a perfect score.  Not a perfect score today but maybe one day.
