i'm starting to think tumblr does me more harm than good at this point.

most of what i'm seeing here is bigotry and news.

and since i have detached myself from the news entirely IRL a while back, life has become livable again.

i'm going through a lot these days, have been for the past five years. hell, i feel like i've lived through multiple lifetimes in this time.

and i do feel guilty about not being as involved with what we as a nation are going through at the moment, but at the end of the day, what more can i do? i'm just barely holding my loved ones and myself.

i'm gonna be honest, i'm not sure i really like jumblr anymore. maybe it's just me. probably is. most of what i see is just news (which is valid as hell considering how broken we all are with everything that's going on, it's just not for me right now) and straight up bigotry (which can really get to me). i've gained mutuals who disagree with me about pretty much anything, which is cool, that's the most Jewish thing ever and i'm all into that, but... recently i've been feeling like i wouldn't be safe around some of those mutuals IRL. mutuals who i've taught and learned from. and i don't know how i feel about that.

people have been saying that i don't care anymore. you don't understand that that's the problem, i always care. as a baseline, i care. i care about things far beyond my reach to depths far beyond my own capacity. which might be holding me back from taking care of my own shit. i always was like this. if anything, i've just had to tone it down a bit recently, because otherwise, i honestly don't know if i would even make it.

i really don't know what the point of this post is, but you know what? i had a fucking really good day for once. and it was partially because i just let myself be offline. just for a bit..

knowing myself, i know that this post will not end with me taking a break. i know that tomorrow or the day after or after, something will happen and i will run back here to distract myself like i always do. pretending that i actually know shit when in reality i'm just so clueless about everything.

there are some people here who i genuenly feel like telling "fuck you."
