Little Ladies’ Day - March 1-14, 2018

I absolutely enjoyed the event. As per usual you try and help The Songbirds. The event itself was fun. You get to cheer for them as they perform and do their various dances. Selecting was a bit difficult because I play on PS4 but otherwise I loved it. The best part was seeing all the other players flood Uldah to cheer The Songbirds. The events are always a welcome time because everyone is doing the same thing. The area always seems so much more lively. People are emoting, throwing sparklers or fireworks and so on. The outfits are always hilarious.

But more than that part of the event or the prizes, I enjoyed what came after. You are told there is a little girl wandering around on her own, and after finding her you discover she has lost some jewelry pieces she considers to be very important. She gives some otherworldly vibes. Later on you discover she’s a ghost and had come across a very sad fate in her youth. The story was quite sad but, the best moment was when I saw my Warrior of Light, Mnemosyne, kneel before her. She had always wanted to feel like a princess with a knight by her side and my character gave her that moment. A moment that helped bring her peace and to move onto the other world. It was amazing. I won't lie when I say I shed a few tears. Because, despite seeing the WoL continuously help people, that tiny gesture felt so real. The WoL has had so many sad and difficult moments throughout FF14 but this moment felt very pure. It isn’t the only one but it felt different. Maybe it is because it is just my character doing the work here. I don't know what exactly it was but it is a pure and pleasant moment. 

It has been roughly a month since this moment and I still remember it. It’s one of those special moments I won't forget, I am sure. Thank you Square Unix for putting this particular scene in the game.
