My Kickstarter for fan-made Genshin Impact Element Icon Enamel Pins is now open for 30 days! I'm not sure if I'll make the mark but at least I could say I tried.

GENSHIN IMPACT ELEMENT ICON ENAMEL LAPEL PIN INTEREST CHECK!!

I'm currently running an interest check for enamel pins featuring the element symbols from Genshin Impact on Twitter [thread linked here]. I wanted to make simple pins like this so they could be easily incorporated into everyday wear.

If I can get enough interest for about 150 pin sales (enough to break even on production), I'm going to open a Kickstarter page to help fund manufacturing.

I wrote out a lot of information in the Twitter thread, but I'll put it here too:

General details:

Prices: $10 per pin, with discounted bundles for sets of 2, 4, and 7. Also, the Kickstarter will have limited quantities of early bird discounts for single and bundled pins.

All pins are 1" hard enamel, fastened with a spring clutch pin backing.

Pins are manufactured in the US and can ship worldwide.

The Kickstarter reward is set to be January 2022, but can be sent out earlier depending on the manufacturer

Timeline:

1. Interest check for 150 pieces 2. If enough interest is found: Kickstarter for 30 days to raise $1500 3. If successful: Backer reward surveys to tally how many pins are needed 4. Ordering pins from manufacturer (variable, depends on production end) 5. Inspection of product before shipping + verifying shipping addresses 6. Sending out packages + troubleshooting 7. Extra stock, if any, will be listed on my bigcartel

Pin designs (see second image for all thumbnails and the samples shown for sketch-to-product adaptation):

Geo: gold + brown glitter

Anemo: silver + glow in dark turquoise

Pyro: rose gold + red glitter

Electro: rainbow metal + purple

Dendro: matte gold + green glitter

Cryo: silver + translucent cyan

Hydro: matte silver + blue glitter
