11/11/24 - A/N on Whiplash

Welp, it's been just under 4 months since my last posting for Code Lyoko But Sexier, and this is probably the most meager update imaginable - I feel like this barely even qualifies as content, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I've had a lot of life and work-related shenanigans happen that demand my time, but though it's slow going, I want you all to know that I am dedicated to seeing this series through.

The reason I'm posting now, despite how I'm still not even finished with Ch. 2 yet, is twofold. 1) I crave the dopamine / serotonin that comes from completing something. This may be a WIP, but I've made some progress damnit, and my brain should make the happy chemicals! 2) You guys have seriously been amazing and deserve the parts that are already finished! I posted 'The Secret' in Pink Dreams in multiple installments, so why not do the same here?

Rough Outline of the rest of the fic: Ch. 2 has more coming, including semi-graphic vine rape. Ch. 3 is a transition between gross XANA touching and wholesome Warrior solidarity. Ch. 4 is Yumi/Ulrich and has several scenes already drafted.

Ch. 11 Sabotage of Pink Dreams is on the way shortly after the completion of this fic.

I couldn't hold it anymore - 3k words of Whiplash are now live! Ch. 11 won't be coming out until after that other work is completed, and I know it's taking a long time, but I truly hope you'll bear with me while I work through the Code Lyoko But Sexier long project!

Backlogged A/N on Pink Dreams

September 26, 2024: Updated Author's Note on Ch. 11 and Whiplash

So, in a bit of meta commentary / updating, here's what's going on with Whiplash and Ch. 11.

Whiplash is going to be firmly designated graphic vine rape, but I'm having a reeeally difficult time deciding how explicit I want things to be. The main focus of the fic is the aftermath recovery time with Yumi/Ulrich, but I also want the first half to be "bad enough" to warrant legitimate aftercare (something the show doesn't explore because it's meant for a younger viewing audience than I'm writing for). It's a delicate balance that is giving me a tough time, especially since I've looked for fan productions that have tackled this episode, and as far as I know, I'm going to be the first to attempt explicit vine rape in the CL fandom. It's a lot of pressure, and while I can assure you I'm not going to buckle, I want to do things right, which is part of why it's taking so long for me to update. Fuck, even just writing this author's note is ratcheting my heart rate, but you guys have been so kind and receptive of this series that I really felt the need to let you know what's going on with it.

The main problem with Ch. 11 is the vine rape from Odd's perspective isn't going to be nearly as graphic as from Yumi's perspective in Whiplash, so I really do have to finish that work before I can decide how to transition into the Odd/Aelita. Again, it's a tough balance.

I must also admit I've gotten slightly distracted by working on a future series instead of my current series. The writing process is a process, and all that.

She frowns, bending slightly to kiss his hairline. “I’m sorry. You’ve made it clear how important it is to you that we can always contact each other. I shouldn’t have gotten so upset I ran off without telling you.”

Aelita/Odd

“I’m used to it now… having an audience…” She tilts her head to the left, and Odd follows her line of sight to find Ulrich watching them. He’s still lying on his back, hands tucked under his neck, looking mostly casual except for the rosy hue to his skin and erection straining against his sweatpants.

Odd turns his gaze back to Aelita’s flushed body, kissing her neck as she continues to face Ulrich, kneading her more softly now with his hand. “But that’s not the whole story, is it?” he murmurs into her ear. “I think… you like the attention…”

CODE SWAP DAY!!!! this is for @nykloss ! I decided to combine two prompts, this one is both a post-cannon reunion and william (presumably) reconnecting with the group after everything! I had SO much fun with this, I hope you enjoy it!

Code Lyoko is one of those shows where you step away for a bit, it comes back to you, and you think “it wasn’t actually that intense. I’m just misremembering, how I felt when I last saw it as a kid that’s all.” 

Then you watch it.

And no, no actually, I remembered correctly. They almost drove into a nuclear power plant, a military laser as pointed at them, they team up with the big bad to rob the government, the man characters have a near death experience every day, it’s very much implied that deaths on Lyoko is very similar to the real thing, literal men in black came after Aelita’s family, William lost months of his life, Jeremy was torturing himself to keep his friends safe on the other side of the screen, Odd almost drowned, Yumi and Ulrich were nearly boiled alive.

Also, you remember how hard the intro goes.
