I know I’ve been dead. Other than trying to relax and cut out undue sources of stress from my life, I’ve been fighting a double middle ear infection after getting clogged up 😵‍💫 I’m dealing with brain fog and some minor vertigo so I haven’t been online much at all.

Still on hiatus but I just wanted to update Despite how fatigued/sick I've been over the past couple of weeks, I finally got a volunteer position in my preferred field (freshwater aquatic/entomology research) so hopefully finally getting to take that first step will help me feel better

If I say "magic isnt real" in get a million people in my inbox saying like "well what about this specific poetic interpretation of 'real' that could, in some cases be interpreted as yadda yadda yadda"

If I try to acknowledge the delineation between ritual praxis and a material belief in the supernatural, people go back to sleep because nobody on this website wants to read anything longer than a tweet. The thing about those posts I’ve seen about Tumblr users having an odd habit of using other people’s posts criticizing a(n applicable) bigoted behavior as a confessional to try and cleanse them of their sins is like. They’re all missing the part that they objectively should be embarrassed about the behavior in the first place.

As an occasional gay chick myself I lowkey really enjoyed the shitty way 2000s-2010s video games would like let you pick the main character’s gender but assumed everyone playing was straight and would play guys, so the story was written with women hitting on the main character left and right even if they were also a woman

I think before you accuse people of being just like Christian conservatives for expressing discomfort with your public fetish for incest and child rape you should perhaps consider the primary advocates for and perpetrators of these acts of violence
