An SWR meter or an SWR analyzer is a device used for measuring standing wave ratio (SWR) in a transmitter feed. The SWR antenna analyzer indirectly measures the degree of mismatch between a transmission line and its load, usually an antenna. This information helps know the effectiveness of impedance matching performed by technicians.

SWR Meter - The Working Explained
