Quote
What Jupiter and Saturn discover about our world eventually becomes our world. Conditioned to expect certain experiences, we’ll either use Jupiter and Saturn as springboards to reach our highest potential or as giant barriers to hold us back. Indeed, as the reality structure inherited from our elders and the freedom to transcend the same, Saturn and Jupiter are the de facto architects of our world.

Flower of Life Tarot Spread
Current energies
External forces/influences
Challenges/things to let go of
Strengths/things to cultivate
Messages from spirit/unseen guidance
Outcome/future
This is one of my first original tarot spreads and has become one of my favorites. It’s a great spread to use when you don’t have a specific question formulated, but works just as effectively with open ended questions. Enjoy!

Autumn Equinox Altar ~
Light on the inside balanced with darkness and mystery on the outside.
I made two collages: one of light coming through windows, one of dark colours and symbols like a cat, a cave, a forest. I separated light and darkness with this wooden wine box I found on the street. The box is light: a white candle, light coloured crystals, silver stars, dried sunflower petals, fossilized coral and a white gourd for fall. Outside the box is darkness: a frame with just blank black space inside, dark plants and crystals, a photo of a dark sky filled with a full moon.
Light and dark, each life has both. Each season has both. They are especially balanced this Friday, Sept. 22 on the Autumn Equinox.
What does your altar look like for fall?

Welcoming Mabon
This is a small craft that I created which can be used to help welcome Mabon. And I feel like I am always mentioning price in posts but it is so critical to what we think we can and can’t do in life so I need you all to know that this only cost me $3!!
Literally the only thing you need to pay for here is the twig-like wreath I purchased for $2.99 at Hobby Lobby. The acorns and brown leaves I found in a forested dog park that I bring my pup to. The greenery and red leaves I got from bushes in my own yard. Oops, I forgot, if you decide to do acorns, you will probably need to purchase super glue if you or someone you know doesn’t already have it. It should only about $2 for that (and will last you for many more projects!)
Things you will need
twig wreath
various items to decorate such as acorns & fall leaves
glue (for acorns, leaves can just be tucked wherever)
green leaves or leafed branches (however many will countdown to Mabon)
red or brown leaves (however many will countdown to Mabon)
This craft came to me in bursts of thought, initially all I wanted to do is make an autumnal wreath to display for Mabon, but several days after making it I got the idea to put greenery in the wreath and take a piece off each day that we get closer to Mabon so that it will represent the cycle of greenery going away in nature until the day of Mabon and all that is left is fall items. But then I decided that I liked the idea even more by replacing each green item with a red fall leaf to represent the turning of the leaves and fall taking over (plus it keeps your wreath full and pretty looking!) I decided to use various sizes of leaves for variety.
So there it is and I hope you consider making this! It is very simple and is a fun way for us all to anticipate Mabon and represent this gorgeous stage of nature’s cycle.
