        ‘  No one is trying to place blame on you ..  ‘ the woman was taken back by the sudden retort to her questioning, but was perhaps more understanding of this confusion than any other had been in the short few weeks this mess had been taking its toll. Adelaide was more of a mediator than her cousin, although Bruce, in many ways, was far more challenging than his counterpart, so approaching him for aid was often twisted into building some sort of reputation, even if he often did not realise it. ‘ I’ll certainly speak with someone more able to help you than myself, but no promises can be made. However, from what I know, you’ve not really got anything to do with all of this, ‘ she gestured to nothing in particular, because she was still the sort of confused that a toddler might be when faced with a complex mathematical equation; something that too young a child could not offer a solution for. Her line of work, though a part of Wayne Enterprises, could not be too heavily involved in matters that extended her pay grade. Bruce had people working more closely with him - for the sort of thing that was currently taking over every crime scene in Gotham City and she couldn’t answer very many questions, although this one, this man, she felt was nothing short of innocent.

             ‘  Wise words——  ‘ the woman turned toward the blonde then, all the more curious, though they were well acquainted already. It did appear that the younger of the two had a preference for the femme Wayne ;; not the cousin so often fixated on capturing Lucy’s father. The girl wasn’t aware of that, however, for Bruce hadn’t shared that much information about himself with very many people at all. In fact, it was best to never share the most sacred of secrets, no matter the trust or bond between two people, and he always saw to it that Adelaide remembered those rules of his. ‘ ..for someone so young, you have vast knowledge and intelligence I’ve only ever seen before in someone twice your age, ‘ she offered a compliment then, tossing in a smile, too.
