When I was a little girl, I had strange dreams. I dreamt of a beautiful blonde woman and a man in a blue suit called The Doctor. They traveled in a blue box called the TARDIS that could go through time and space. Sometimes they would appear with a small redheaded child, with a locket around her neck. The man would always say that she needed to lead a normal life, even with two hearts. I'd like to believe that girl is me. Sometimes I can even feel the second heart. [[Indie Roleplay blog. Aida shrunk into her mothers embrace, scared of what was to come. Something that felt like anger bubbled up in her and she let it ride out. "So is this it then? Are you just gon'to show up and show us what we could have and then leave like you always do?" she spat, tears threatening to sting her eyes. "And what about Mattie. She's my sister, and your daughter. You left her, as well. You can't just go along leaving everyone as you see fit, Doctor, because that's not going to work with us," she said, her voice getting louder. With her anger, her scottish accent was more pronounced; she always hated that.

“Adelaide…” The Doctor whispered, covering his mouth to hide his shock. She grew up to be a beautiful young lady. He couldn’t believe that it was almost 18 years ago that Rose told him that he was going to be a father… Again… Technically. He turned away from Adelaide and saw Mattie looking like something pained her. The Doctor looked at her, then to Rose, then to Adelaide; his girls, all together for the first time.

Aida sat up, pressing her ear against the wall to hear a little the conversation a little better. She looked over to Mattie and shrugged and Mattie got up. Seconds later, the bickering she heard stopped as she heard Mattie interject.
Getting up herself, Aida walked out of the spare room, shaking gold dust from her fingertips as she did so. As she neared the living room, her hearts raced.
"It... it's you," she stammered, her eyes setting on the Doctor. "It's really you."

“It wasn’t safe, Rose!” He said a bit too sharply. “I wasn’t about to lose her by keeping her with me. It was for her own good.” The Doctor ran one of his hands through his already tousled hair. He didn’t know what made his sensors in the TARDIS go haywire, but when Rose had called him, it made sense. He didn’t want to risk Adelaide’s life any further, but he needed to see her.

Aida smiled as Ro-- her mother called to them both.
"Stay with me?" Aida croaked, before letting her eyes droop. When she closed her eyes, everything became clear and bright before she faded into sleep.

When she woke up, Mattie was dozing off in the chair in the room. Aida had never had siblings, so this was knew to her.
"I never wan'ed t'leave 'er!" Aida heard Rose whisper fiercely. Aida sat up, trying to glance around and see if she could find who Rose was talking to.

“See,” she sighed. “I feel like I should rest, but my mind is going one hundred miles an hour.” And that’s exactly what it felt like. Even though only half of her was timelord, she was put off by the two beats of her heart. She let a heavy sigh escape as she set her head down on the pillow, watching gold dust come out of her mouth. She looked at Mattie and they both erupted in laughter.

After Rose left to go to the kitchen, Aida used the rest of her energy to lift herself up high enough to rest her head on Mattie’s lap.
“I’m… exhausted,” Aida admitted. “And my head is killing me.”

Aida brought her head up from her knees, blinking gold dust away from her eyes as she did. She lowered herself onto her back and held her head, closing her eyes tightly. Rose and Mattie sat beside her, waiting for something to happen.
“Tea…” Aida whimpered. Rose laughed slightly.
“What’s funny?” Aida whispered frustratingly.

"That certainly sounds interesting," Adelaide laughed. "Your name is brilliant. Quirky and brilliant," she said with a nod. It was odd, but it fit the girl. "Have an aversion to broccoli? It's understandable. Broccoli and banana's I can't do. Just about anything else but those," she added with a fake shudder and a laugh.

"Me? What about me?" Adelaide whispered to herself. "Please, tell me. You must." She pleaded, tears threatening to spill over. She touched her locket again and it felt as if it were humming. She looked up at Aria with a worried look in her eyes.

“Blue suit, brown hair, always wears trainers. Saw him around very briefly when I was a child,” Aida answered. “Matter of fact, I saw him sometimes in these strange dreams I’d have.” She shook the thought away. “And my mother’s name is Tara, but I’m adopted if her name was significant.” Aida was starting to get more and more worried. What was Aria going to tell her?
