Hm hm. I don't think I quite have one favorite. They're all good. Although I have a bias towards Dark, naturally >:3

Actor couldn’t quite hide the way his lips curled in a sneer at your proud proclamation, but just as fast a smile settled on his face again. His hand retracting to his chest, gesturing to it, as his other hand went to his side. His, or rather what was previously Damien’s cane, appearing in it. He tapped it once on the floor.

“But of course~ It only makes sense you’d feel drawn by the villain, it’s what makes them so great~! And it’s what makes me shine all the brighter in contrast. He does well in being my compliment, doesn’t he~? So perfect…”

Humming, he gave the cane a twirl.

“Unfortunately he’s a bit too deep into his role. I hardly ever see him around the manor unless I drag him out. Honestly, it’s as if he actually hates me. As if I hadn’t done him a lot of good.”

Mood doing a complete 180, Actor pushed himself up. Snapping his fingers, it didn’t even sound like he had his black gloves on as he did, the environment around them changed. The kitchen suddenly spotless, the countertops gleaming, and Actor himself grinned as he held out a hand towards you.

“I’m doing well. It’s always a great day, meeting those who enjoy my work~ Tell me, my Dear, what’s your favorite project of mine? What would you like me to sign~?”

A long suffering sigh, honestly a bit too long, could be heard from the man in red. Actor was slumped over the kitchen table, effectively chasing everyone away from it without meaning to. Only one ego hung around in the back, Google, yet he merely continued to go about his business, gathering plates up. Either the android was on kitchen duty this week, or he was displeased with the mess left behind from everyone else abandoning the kitchen.

“But there’s just nothing, my Flower. Nothing. I write, and I learn new things, yet everything results in nothing! It’s infuriating!”

Glancing up, his eyes flashed red. He then groaned, and rubbed a black gloved hand over his face.

“…Sorry, Dearest. I’ll plan on getting to it as soon as I can.”

Four voices piped up, the first two speaking over each-other, all their eyes locked onto you. The older set of twins gave a huff of laughter, each placing their hand on the head of the younger twin that was closest to them, despite them all being adults.

“Can you tell whose is whose, after all that~?”

Hi everyone!! I wanted to do something fun for Feb so introducing The Short n Sweet prompt list!

I wanted to challenge myself to getting back into writing and I’m hoping that this challenge will spark some new ideas!

What would the magical girl au powers be? :0

I’m not sure yet! Depends how I do it— if I make it Sailor Moon adjacent or not! There’s so many ways, with how it can be planet based, elemental, just random things— etc. And if it’s sharing a Spirit, or a full on reincarnation type thing. Either way, I think It’d be interesting if Actor was some sort of Light… it’s always ironic how the ‘dark’ characters get corrupted by the dark. Why can’t the opposite happen? Also if I want the egos in order or in random teams of my choosing of who’s what/where.

I think it’d be interesting too if whatever Damien and Celine were, put together, is an antithesis to Actor’s power/abilities. -Mun

If I did the second au of just egos, I’d probably do it here though just to ramble on and let some of the characters answer questions for fun. Same like how this blog has the Fantasy au for egos, even though it’s just a list of the creatures at the moment buried in the posts. - Mun

Just got done with shower, and thoughts are just swirling in my head—

1. Portgas D. Ace lives au,,, sort of. More of a he hops fandoms post death au, that’s where he meets Illinois while Illinois is adventuring… though the Mera Mera no mi is in fact still in the world of One Piece, Ace’s soul itself has come embedded with being a fire elemental… no longer tied to solely the One Piece world and it’s rules alone, he may as well be an elemental spirit. One who already got a hang on how to appear to be human… how to control fire… thanks to his time the other world. Which would be all good and dandy if he wasn’t Traumatized from literally dying in his brother’s arms/being tormented in Impel Down before that/ all those he cared for attempting to rescue him… Yeah, Illi gots his work cut out for him. But thankfully he’s not looking for a something— someone— to save. He’s not looking at all. But if he happens to find an equally tragic soul, circumstances differing though they may be…. Who’s he to deny the hope that this time, this one stays. Lives. Gives him a reason beyond just what he thinks he should do in life, just as Ace is searching once again for his own, now that he knows what it’s sort of like.

2. Thanks to the Ace magical girl art… been thinking of full Magical Girl au for the egos. Really, my head spins with the few different ways it can go, but I’m leaning towards the classic trope in magical girl au’s of reincarnation/spirits. Have the original ‘magical girls’ be the team of Actor, William, Damien, Celine, the Jims, and the DA… DA more a reference in this story, but integral to the plot. Have the later egos as reincarnations… some split off teams, kind of like how Sailor Moon has the Inner Scouts, Outer Scouts, and Sailor Quartet. Also, of course, they’d have to have a guide of some sort…. Not to mention I’m thinking Memento and Mori would definitely be part of the au. Which means there’s at Least another team out there of Ethan’s egos XD Mostly because I find the idea of Ivyiplier and ….whatever the name is for the yellow Flash I’m blanking on at the moment themed Ethan ego,,, being best friends and neither knowing each other is a ‘magical girl’.

The answer was simple, as the android kept tapping away at a little tablet he’s holding. It was in a dark blue protective case, simple and blocky in its design.

“I know everything. I do not require any additional help. Merely…” Dark eyes flicked to you, flashing blue momentarily as a whirring sound started up. “…I happen to require his permission to have full access to all my capabilities. Unfortunately.”

As for the your second question, he merely tapped his own eyeball. If you looked closely, you’d see it light up more, like another mini computer screen separate from what was going on with the tablet. He then tapped his glasses, and that too had a different screen of something flashing past on each of the lens. Clearly, the android was utilizing all of them, and it seemed rather seamless.

“…Laptop, if I must. I can connect to it as well.”
