I had to comment this because I have seen several times the comparation between the possible first sonamy meeting scenario and Toothless and his interaction with the lightfury and I think I have a more accurate scene to compare 🤭

I already posted a tiny fic of the sonamy meeting 🤭🤭 (scroll down if you haven't read it already)

But seriously, thanks to the new Lilo and stitch live action trailer I remembered something... Doesn't Amy's post credit scene remind you of Stitch, you know a powerful blue alien who landed on earth and found an ohana/family between humans... and that time in the series that followed the movie when he met basically a pink female version of him? 🫠🫠😏😏😏

I think Sonic would be closer to Stitch than Toothless 😂😂😂. Though obviously Amy won't be a double Spy like Angel, for spies I hope we see Rouge.

Now I want Sonic to say to Amy: "will you be the Angel to my Stitch?" 😂😂😂 I would love it if Sonic happened to have watched the movie and the series, I bet he can obviously relate to Stitch.

I very hope, Sonic acts like a clumsy teen that has never seen a girl before because with his personality in the movies and how Amy is represented he can't act like he acts in the old games and I love how universally most of the fans seem to agree with me😂🫶🫶 I mean obviously his personality here leads to assume he would act like that 🙃🙃🙃

How they go on dates?

They sneak out ofc! (Ok so just hear me out!)

So, since they are basically teenagers, I feel that it would make sense cuz they know Tom and Maddie wouldn't let them out too late at night

Also I like to think that they are keeping their relationship a secret from Tom and Maddie since they feel too nervous to do so (also for fun cuz again, teenagers) and only Tails and Knuckles know ofc. So Sonic and Amy like to wait till everyone is asleep, and they go out on whatever they have planned for their date that night. And ofc they come back home late at night and yes they both become very tired in the morning, they use the excuse of hedgehogs being nocturnal (which is true for real hedgehogs btw) and with Tails and Knuckles help, they don't get caught.

But it brings the question Will they tell Tom and Maddie that they are dating?

Yes, but when they are a bit older but they will leave out the fact that they were dating for years by then

Movie!Amy VA Suggestion!

My ideal Movie!Amy VA would be bubbly, high pitched, youthful, adorable, energetic, sweet, and wild. Also sounds similar to other VAs but have her own spin on the voice. I think Kimiko Glenn checks ALL these boxes personally. Here’s a few clips.

Also, this wonderful animatic!

She’s voiced Peni Parker from Spidervers and Izzy Moonbow from MLP. They are similar to Amy vocal-wise. Not to mention she has good range, so she’d be a BLAST to hear during emotional moments. It doesn’t HAVE to be Kimiko specifically, but anyone who sounds similar to her and Amy’s VAs would be perfect in my opinion.
