If you look at the directory, you can see if artists take commissions and the kind they’re willing to take (bell or cash) - some of them may take requests as well, but that’s something you would have to ask the individual artists.

Alright this is probably a stupid question, but I'm looking to try to get my art more noticed and I looked on the submit form and it said to put a link for my art tag? What exactly is that?

No, it’s not a stupid question at all! Your art tag would be a tag you use on all of your artwork for people to be able to find it - most artists use something like “my art”, “my doodles”, “[url] draws” or something along those lines! That way, when people visit your blog, they can easily filter out other posts - such as reblogs, text posts, etc, and just see your art! All you have to tell us is the link for yours, like [url].tumblr.com/tagged/[whatever tag you use]~ Hope this helps clarify that for you!

We’d love to! However, we don’t add artist without their permission, so if there’s someone you know that you think should be on the directory, you should let them know about this blog so they can join!

same anon from a while back.. not to sound annoying by repeating the same question/suggestion, just want to know... do you think you guys could add in the form if the artist is up for art trades or doing free art atm or something?

yeah, that sounds like a good suggestion!! ^ ^ we’ll add an option for art trades to the forms. artists that do offer free art should already say so in the directory!

hello! i was wondering for when i update my commission info if i should send in an ask about it or submit it? also, thank you so much for taking the time to compile up all of these ac artists blogs! you all work so hard and i (and many other crossers) are very thankful for it :)

I would suggest sending in a submission titled “Update” and fill in the updated information in the application form.

How often are you online and updating?

i got a friend to help out and update last night ^^ i should be back myself soon to continue to update. we do our best to update on a daily basis, but the admins have some personal life issues taking up their time right now. personally, i'll be back in a couple of days and our new admin labelle should be on later today ~-mabel

hey guys, this is admin mabel. i'm sorry i haven't been updating the blog lately. some things are happening irl now and i'm a little too busy to update it myself. orz i'm not sure what sable is up to, but they probably have their reasons for not updating too.

i'm going to be adding a third admin onto the site, labelle, to help keep things moving. i'm sorry for the small period of inactivity. ;; once this is over i'm going to also redo the blog theme. give the blog a fresh, more organized, look!
