OC INFO! (finally)

These are descriptions for characters in a story I'm working on, called Prelude.

Fira

Mechanics: Fira is the main character, he/she can either be male or female based on what the player chooses, his design doesn’t change at all but how he’s referred to is. He’s intentionally designed to look ambiguous. (I’ll refer to him as he for the rest of the description, as that is what I originally had in mind when creating the character, but if you want to describe him as she you are allowed to). Fira’s class is well-balanced in stats. He fights with a shovel he found in his backyard, and she posses the unique battle ability known as “pretend”, which allows him to use enemy’s attacks, kinda like a blue mage.

Character: A kid with a love for adventure and fantasy stories. Fira is the young brother of Manfred, though he is adopted. It is entirely unknown who his biological parents are, as neither Fira nor Manfred have ever met them. Despite this, Fira’s new family supports him well. Fira is an energetic and adventurous kid who is always looking for opportunities to live out his dreams of being a hero like in all the stories he’s always read. He loves reading books and watching movies, pretty much anything with a story to it. He tends to get lost in them, perhaps he loves fantasy a bit too much. His dreams take an ironic turn when the Great Compression occurs, an event that causes the world to be invaded by strange magical phenomena, including the appearance of magical creatures and an intense influence of arcane power onto the world. Fira sees this as an incredible opportunity to go on an adventure like he’s always dreamed, but his brother Manfred thinks its way too dangerous, and advises the both of them to stay indoors until the problem goes away. Yet, something tells me that suggestion isn’t going to sit well with Fira…

Manfred

Mechanics: Manfred is the second party member, he is the brother of Fira. His class is very tanky. He deals heavy hits, and has high defense, but is very slow. He fights with his fists, and refuses to use weapons for some reason that is revealed later. His unique battle ability is known as “Fisticuffs” and allows him to use his own HP for special abilities.

Character: A serious young man who’s experienced a lot, yet still has much to learn. Manfred is the older brother of Fira, being around a decade older than him. He first met Fira shortly after the death of his sister, Allison. Manfred feels as though he failed to save her, and so is very overprotective of Fira, who he doesn’t want to fail. This can lead to him often doing things for Fira’s own good, but being met with anger in return, while in other instances, he can be too controlling and grumpy. He wants to be a good teacher to Fira, protecting him and giving him advice on the world, he often follows Fira around everywhere. Fira usually just sees Manfred as “hating fun” without really realizing why he acts the way he does. Manfred is typically very serious, and works hard to get things done. He doesn’t really appreciate the more unserious side of things, but a part of him understands the importance of humor from time to time, and he does have the occasional silly back and forth with Fira. Although he may seem to hate everything, him and Fira really do appreciate each other’s company, though it would do Manfred some good to look on the brighter side of things from time to time. Oh yeah I forgot to mention he’s a werewolf.

Kiege

Mechanics: Kiege is initially an enemy, but she eventually joins as a party member once the story gets going. Her class is very speedy and similar to a thief. She uses guns as her weapon. Her battle ability, known as “Piracy”, which allows her to steal things from enemies, such as items and HP.

Character: An insane pirate woman who might be a little bit evil, but in a cool way. Kiege is the leader of a notorious all female criminal gang who styles themselves after old fashioned pirates. They’re known for hijacking trains and stealing high quality goods from others. As their leader, Kiege is strong and powerful, wielding a dangerous gun. Yet, although she is powerful, she is not the most rational person. She often gets too caught up in the chaos of things, reveling in the sheer insanity of the situations she causes. She certainly lives life for those moments of adrenaline. She can also be very rude and mean to others, not really caring that much what people think of her, as is the mentality of most of her gang. She first meets up with Fira and Manfred as her and her gang attempt to rob a train the two are on. She is miraculously defeated, but vows to return one day to get revenge on her new rivals. Despite this, she slowly becomes an ally, though it takes a bit of time.

Loretta

Mechanics: Loretta joins the party alongside Sedrick, who she is very close with. Her class has very high defensive capabilities, but has low attack and offensive skills. She fights using rakes. Her battle ability, known as “Craft”, which allows her to use items in special ways, such as combining them or using them in different ways.

Character: Close friends with Kiege, as well as Sedrick. She has known Sedrick for much longer, as he is her father-in-law. Sedrick was the father of her now deceased husband, Edward. She now lives close by Sedrick, learning piano from him. Although Loretta tries to appear like a seemingly normal and calm woman, her past still haunts her to this day. She vows to get revenge, for her husband was murdered, she knows it. Throughout her journey, she comes to learn more about herself and discovers skills of independence, along the way, finding a new love for someone of the same gender, Kiege.

Sedrick

Mechanics: Sedrick joins alongside Loretta, who he knows very well. His class specializes in spellcasting, and has high magic capabilities and low physical strength, due to his age. Sedrick uses books in battles. His battle ability is known as “Arcana” Allows him to use spells that others can’t.

Character: A kind and humble old man, with an unknown backstory and strange power. Sedrick (in earlier versions named “Marcel”) was once part of a group of adventurers who saved the world many years ago. Although those days are behind him now, his memories of being a hero have stayed with him to this day. He’s a very confident teacher, currently giving Loretta piano lessons as the story begins. Loretta isn’t sure if she’s very good at piano, but she’s glad that it gives her time to spend with Sedrick. He is very hidden about his past, and often brushes over the important details, though it seems like he has some sort of unfinished business.

i recently finished final fantasy xiii and it was rlly weird cause it was one of those games that you absolutely love to bits but you can perfectly understand why someone wouldn't like it (but tbh i still think it was kinda overhated back in the day) Anyways Lightning is really cool and so is Fang but like my fave character is probably Vanille or Sazh cause I liked their little side adventure thing they did. I just really like how positive Vanille is all the time, and I strive to be more like her every day. I'm gonna play ffxiii-2 now, which i already played a bit of and I really like it so far, I like that theres towns in this one and I think its cool that you have two party members, I'm excited to see their friendship develop throughout their adventure

I love all the cowboy stuff, cause I just love any sort of old setting in general, LOL! Its kinda like the 20s, just a few years away. Anyways really like this one, I'm glad I did something interesting for the first piece. I wanted to do something badass. Idk if she actually has a shotgun, but it said she does robberies, so she prooobably has one somewhere. plus long things to hold make good poses.
