right after I had top surgery I came across someone saying that between the posture and the bloating and the chest compression, you're shaped like the grinch (the 2018 dreamworks version specifically) for a little while. and it's true man. it's so fuckin true

Oh god just saw that this was sent as an aks and not a comment I literally have not stopped thinking about the grinch body. It's so true. I have been describing it as such since I read this thank you so much

hey acianoo!! ☺️🌻 i'm suddenly curious, are the skills you need for your job and your drawing/painting skills.. connected? 😅based on your 'personal' tag i assumed that you work as a make-up artist for stage productions (right? xD), and it never occurred to me that make-up is just another form of painting, in a way. So what i'm asking is how big is the overlap between art and stage make-up art 😄Also, how did your art journey begin in the first place? 👀*timidly extends my arm holding a mic*

Yes I am a make-up artist/ wig maker for stage productions!

There's a bit of an overlap, but you don't really need to be great at drawing. It definitely helps to have an understanding of colours, shapes and anatomy though! When you're an apprentice/ student, you usually have to do some drawings of historical clothes and hair or design a costume or a mask, or do some skull studies.

My art journey began when I was old enough to hold a pen.... 😂 very boring haha. I grew up in the countryside before the widespread use of the Internet and had my ego crushed when I joined Animexx and DeviantArt - I had to realise that I was actually not the greatest artist in the world 😂
