Anyway all three of them are tragically inevitably mind bogglingly doomed. The gods really would not stop fucking them over. Piper was lobotomized into a straight relationship, cursed with a power she resents and doesn’t want, and was doomed to watch both her closest friends die. She did make it out though and eventually discovered herself (even though we get to see none of this journey 🤣). So good for her even though like everything else was awful. Jason was born into a role that he resented and he constantly pushed back against it and the rigid traditions of the gods. And then he dies for one. Crazy. Leo’s dad cursed him with his fire which killed his only family and left him traumatized and feeling alone his entire life. And his solution was to kill himself and just hope it wouldn’t stick. And then he comes back to life and his best friend is dead. Bye

The way hera literally lobotomized Piper so she wouldn’t be gay and constructed elaborate complex memories in her brain so she thought she was in a straight relationship.. that is insane. No wonder she had an identity crisis that would also make me extremely repressed and confused

percy + annabeth live until their 50s but outside of sending their kids they wouldnt interact with chb, and honestly even sending them would be a long debate. jason and leo are made to die young but ok fine. They would live in new rome and contribute to their society immensely.... But they definitely would've fucked around in their 20s until jason cracks his back or something 😭 piper never talks about being a demigod ever again, stay vigilant, moves often, stays lowkey. frank probably stays in the government at cj for a while tbh, i cant really picture him anywhere else, he lives long and happily. hazel can go either way, i think she would fuck around with nico and some friends until their 30s and then hazel has a nice normal family or business in some random state. reyna forever hunter is a scary thought ngl i hate that but its interesting so why not. nico's a vagabond but he got a place to stay in nearly every country, he just knows all these ppl and its not abnormal to not see him for a few years and for him to appear in ur kitchen. i think he would die in his 40s though, not for a tragic reason but one ultimately honorable, though sketchy. hedge and mellie have 24 kids and theyre all named after athletes or action stars and they still fucking around everywhere. personally would love if they stayed with the mcleans for pipers sake. thats it everyones is dead or something i dont care

Thalia's point of view must be so surreal because imagine the horror, the tragedy, and the cruelty, of dying... but then not. but you're not alive either. At least, not in the way you used to be. You're more or less caught, trapped, in this liminal state of being. You're still growing... but when you wake up you're not the age you should be. And suddenly, the little seven year old girl you helped protect and cared for and treated as your little sister is practically your age now. And your best friend, a boy that was a mere two years older than you is now a grown man, hardened and distorted by the very hate you saw the beginnings of. that you commiserated with.

Actually devastated about the fact that Jason planned to die the exact same way Leo did? Leo knew Jason and Piper wouldn’t let him sacrifice himself so he just didn’t tell them what he was planning to do. The last thing he does before he executes his plan at the end of BoO is make sure his friends are out of range so they won’t get hurt in the process.

Jason simply planned to let Piper move away with her dad and just never tell her that one of them was destined to die. He just decided it would be him and planned to just go sacrifice himself after Piper left.

Something something Leo died to protect Jason, but instead of achieving what he wanted (keeping Jason safe and cheating fate so they could both live), Leo accidentally reinforced Jason’s belief that love is meant to be shown through sacrifice.
