PSA: FYI, Some people still do not have the option to use beta-editor. The switch to turn it on does not exist for some blogs. They literally have no choice but to continue using legacy or make a new blog. And not everyone has the time to make a new blog and move their threads. Especially blogs that have been around for a long time. Hopefully tumblr will resolve this error soon. But in the mean time, please be aware of this glitch and be understanding of those who do not have access to beta.

I wanted to put put a tiny psa. I've switched to beta editor on all my blogs but, I didn't have the option to covert on one of my blogs to beta until late January. Which was significantly later than my other blogs. I just wanted to bring this to people's attention so they can be aware that some people who are delaying their switch over may not being doing so intentionally.

Hi friends, I am finally nearly ready to archive this blog and start using the new one over @acharnemcnt . I just need to link my carrrd to that blog and finish posting my tags. My threads will be moved along with unanswered asks. I’ll make an official post here and there when the blog is live, thus marking the end of my hiatus. You can feel free to follow now if you want. The biggest changes will be: the rejig of my verses, minor updates to rules, a timeline, info on npcs, and a headcanon/lore side blog. I missed you all! I can’t wait to begin writing again. ♡

Armitage sits forward, one eyebrow cocked. “What about Phasma?” p. 275

Armitage smirks and leans into the cushions, one long arm draped over the back of the sofa. “Then how, pray tell, is this my problem? p. 275

I find the scene where Kylo Ren tells Snoke that he doesn't see Hux's value very amusing. Hux canonically designed several of the simulators in the storm trooper training program, helped designed The Supremacy ( a mega star destroyer & the First Order’s mobile capital ), played a significant part in the Starkiller project & was in charge of the team who created the hyperspace tracking system. Kylo, sir, he may have designed your ship for all we know.

During his visit to The Absolution in the Phasma novel, Armitage Hux remarks that he is the highest ranking officer on the ship. Which means he outranks the Admiral that Commands The Absolution and all of the other officers attending the assembly taking place there.

I am certain Hux is not including Kylo Ren ( who is also aboard The Absolution for the assembly ), considering Kylo isn't part of the First Order ranks. But it's interesting to me that Hux is at such an elevated status even though he only bears the title of General. I am guessing this authority is due to his position as Commander/Director of Starkiller alongside being co-commander of The Finalizer.

The running joke is that most of the other officers gossip about Armitage not having real military combat experience until they see him gouge someone's eyes out in a knife fight.

It is so interesting to write a gay character who has a general disdain toward men because all of the significant male figures during his upbringing abused him. And one who tends to have a negative relationship with sex because touch was always a violent thing. And just has a general disinterest in relationships because his one role model was a severe workaholic. His inherent response to people taking interest in him is manipulation. Thus layers on layers of slowly developed trust are needed for him to have a healthy relationship and, at this point, I am not sure if that is even possible.

Hux’s characterization in tros being so off versus his appearance being so on point for his novel temperament. :’)
