hello friends i know several of you are also adhd havers and i was wondering if you could help me.

people always tell me how good it feels to check sth off their todo list/to close out of a task etc. and i uh. simply do not experience that at all, like i get no joy from finishing stuff or checking it off or anything.

and from what i understand this is a symptom of adhd so my question is, if you experience this, what are your strategies around it, do you have a way to activate that reward feeling etc.?

i make silly sounds to myself a lot. sometimes it's words. sometimes it's not

job: yapper (full time loser student)

i'm as much of a hater as a lover (being a lover is also important) but i HATE bootlickers. brown-nosers. if you try to endear yourself to me for the purpose of getting something from me i will hit you with a chair

honestly i think the better question is what DON'T i forget. life's very strange when you feel like everyone around you knows something you don't and you should know it too (but you don't)

not much of a show person these days, but the last one i adored was blue eyed samurai. as for movies i love everything everywhere all at once, knives out (both 1 and 2), the princess bride, and the mask of zorro!

i'm low needs/late diagnosed (see: undiagnosed) autistic + adhd and that has been VERY clear for me since like age 7. good enough at school to be left alone about it, weird + troublesome enough in most other ways to have people try to bully me until i graduated high school. (<- was too autistic + depressed to notice in high school)

history! i mean i like my classes now too if those count?

math and chemistry. i am NOT beating the 'social science majors can't do math' allegations

best: accommodating and emotionally intelligent

worst: forgetful and self loathing
