Just opened Tumblr to find out that people are sending disgusting anon hate and even impersonating other users within the Kid Pirates community.

Not really sure how such people can be part of the Kid Pirates fandom, or even the One Piece community, like… I’m genuinely baffled. Talking about not understanding shit of what you claim to love.

Anyway other blogs say they know who these people are - I have no idea, plus I don���t have discord, nor bluesky, nor instagram, so I’m pretty out of the loop as per usual. Nevertheless, such disgusting cowardice does not belong to this space, so if you support or engage in such behaviour in any way, I ask you to stay away from me and my content.

Anyone seen sending hate to other creators or readers will be blocked on sight.

I do wonder if the straw hats could do anything for Luffy that hasn’t already been done by Bon or other allies, this arc is really all about showing off how to truly unprepared Luffy is to be apart of the big leagues, even if they could get him to slow down and think of a plan it difficult to say how they could actually effect the outcome of marineford and the like if anything they could get Luffy to Ace just a smigde faster but not fast enough

Luffy certainly would have had more information, and with that information perhaps had made a better plan. He doesn’t even know the time of Ace’s execution until Croc and Jinbe tell him and is just running from place to place risking getting his hands melted off by poison. He’s so blinded by his goal that he doesn’t even acknowledge the possibility of an alternative.

I’ve always wondered at the possibility of not attacking Impel Down itself, but trying to ambush the transport ships en route. You’re right in that I don’t think the Straw Hats were in any way ready for the power level of Marineford, but I have to think that after the craziness of Enies Lobby they would have had a better chance against the spider vice admiral than Magellan.

But in general I think Ace is just doomed by the narrative. The tragedy of it is that there was nothing Luffy could have done, but true Greek fashion Ace was done in by his own fatal flaws.

I'm so curious about the Eustass family. I wonder if pagan magic is inherited by blood or only learned and its nature (since it's not common, maybe there are some conditions to use this kind of magic). It seems a magic that affects the surroundings. His mother isn't considered a magic person, maybe she isn't even human? Like a siren? Nymph? 🤔✨️

I think Kid is becoming more and more aware of his crush in Mudblood... also thanks to Killer not-so-subtly telling him about it. In the fic, this is the first year that Kid realizes having feelings, or maybe the friendship turned into something more for him.

In my head (and story), Pagan magic can be learned by anyone but there are definitely individuals and creatures that have more aptitude for it, depending on their origins. In Mudblood, the Kuja are an example of witches practicing Pagan magic. Kid's mother is another (not a Kuja and... "not a witch" as it was already mentioned).

Hello Abyss! I hope you are having a wonderful day and I want to ask you something abt your Eustass/Killer dating hcs.

First of all I'd like to say that I love your writing, I read Captive when it came out a couple of years ago (damn time went by fast🥲) and am now reading Bonds as well as some of your OS, I love your portrayal of the Kid pirates as complex individuals, especially Killer, and you have now ruined reading any other fics abt them in the best way possible.

I was wondering abt your opinion when it comes to Kid and Killer dating a man, do you think that they are rougher with him? Like roughhousing and playfighting and such? Do they let out their "beast" side more often with him? Does anything else change?

Just to add idk what you headcannon Kid's sexuality as, if you think of him as straighter than a line then feel free to ignore his part of the ask, it's more so Killer that I'm interested in.

Sorry this is super long, but I really felt like it should be, I'm not into fanfics anymore but I still remember and reread yours regularly.

That's an interesting question! I do not necessarily headcanon Kid as straight. It's true that he likes women in my x reader fics, but I absolutely love to ship him with Law or Killer in "canon".

Anyway, coming to the headcanons. I don't think they would be rougher with a man s/o simply because he's a man, I think it would depend on the person. If the partner can take a rougher approach, independently on their gender, then both Kid and Killer would feel confident enough to let out more of their beast side. They would adjust themselves to the strength/physique of their partner, if that makes sense. This applies to both Kid and Killer, although Killer is more careful/attentive by nature, Kid is more prone to let "careless" moments slip.

Would anything else change? Hm... I'm not sure. Once again, I think all depends on the male s/o's personality more than gender. I see Kid being possessive and horny either way, while Killer is... just better at hiding it, honestly. 😅

So please, feel free to ask for hcs for a male partner with a specific personality/physique if you're interested, I'll do my best for it!
