I know it's a normal part of life to part with friends. I'm still getting used to letting go.
In hindsight, I keep coming back to just not being able to fully understand how two of my closest friends just fully and completely cut me out.
And when I think about that it makes me feel a bit more like it was meant to be. I've never been in a situation where something a friend did meant I felt I needed to completely end all of my connections to them. In my heart that just feels wrong because people change. Not always I know, but if I think about that alternative then I feel sad because does that mean they genuinely thought I'd never change/I was just that bad that they couldn't stand to be around me anymore...? I guess so. But I don't want to believe that because I always try to be better! I always want to learn from my mistakes. But it can be harder to do that if I don't have conversations/communication/exposures. But I guess those also take mental energy and time.
I dunno. Cutting people out/blocking completely with cancel culture these days when someone isn't genuinely a bad person I feel is wrong. Especially now when the world outside is getting scary. Community is so important.

A spoon's only objective in life is to make soup go upwards, and it knows this. That's why when you put one under a running tap it blasts the water way high. The spoon thinks there's suddenly TONS of soup to deal with and it freaks out.

Already seeing people on tiktok saying “I still hate trump but he ate with this one” like … babes … you just got propagandized … that’s literally exactly what he created this situation in the hopes you would say …
