There’s a smile in Vegas’s voice when he speaks again. “But then the fact that you’re incredibly competent isn’t precisely news. It’s one of your sexiest features.”

Pete snorts.

”My competence?”

”Mmhm. I have a kink for that, among other things, and you fulfill it very nicely, thanks.”

”You said one of my sexiest features- feel free to elaborate.”

”Well your face is pretty nice-“ Vegas starts, untangling his fingers so he can brush the bangs back from Pete’s forehead, ghosting his fingers down over his eyebrows, over the point of his nose, to brush a thumb over Pete’s lips before moving back up to tangle in his hair again.

”Mmhm. What else?”

”Your ass is also pretty great. Just the right firmness for biting.”

Pete laughs, enjoying the echoing grin on Vegas, even as it softens down to a fond smile.

”How much you love and care for Macau.”

That surprises Pete, knocking the grin off his face, confusion replacing it.

”Yeah. I’ve done my best over the years,” Vegas continues, “You know our dad was pretty shit. Thankfully he ignored Macau for the most part, but that’s not the same as caring. You’ve shown more care for him in the past year than my dad did the entire time he was alive, and I appreciate that.”

”Oh-“ Pete blinks, stunned, but Vegas isn’t done.

”How much you love and care for me. When I woke up in the hospital, I didn’t expect to find you there, but I can’t begin to tell you how thankful I am that I did.”

They’ve talked about it before, about Vegas’s surprise that Pete’s stuck around, that Pete not only cares for, but loves him. Vegas is of the impression that he doesn’t deserve Pete, not after how badly he hurt him.

As far as Pete’s concerned, this impression is misguided and incorrect, and he’ll convince Vegas he’s deserving if it takes him a lifetime.

nobody knows how happy i am that despite how it was aired almost 3 years ago already, kinnporsche fanfics are STILL being written!! usually fandoms nowadays die off so quickly

(i could rant about this forever, but i feel like id just be reiterating what everyone else says)

ive noticed in the bl fandom especially that since theres SO many shows, and its such a broad selection, people move on quickly and theres not really a sub-fandom of sorts for every show, therefore theres a lack of really Anything besides source material… So seeing that the kinnporsche fandom is still somewhat thriving is insanely relieving! I finally dont feel like the only person stuck in the past due to being fixated on it still!!

ok repeat after me. Disney does not own Doctor Who. Disney did not buy Doctor Who. Disney has, at the moment (June 2024), some international distribution rights for Doctor Who. this means that in some territories (notably the United States) Doctor Who is being simultaneously released on Disney+ at the same time as on BBC iPlayer. that’s it!!! It does not mean everything in the show had to be approved by Disney. It does not mean that Disney has any kind of creative control over Doctor Who (and i seriously doubt they do).

you may realise that a lot of non-disney properties also release on Disney+ (especially outside of the country they were made in!). before this distribution rights deal, Doctor Who fans in the US would have to either pirate new episodes, wait for the home releases or hope that the new episodes would eventually come to whatever streaming service they are subscribed to. now there is a dedicated official way for the yank fans to watch new episodes (as they release, but on Disney+). that’s literally it! any problem you have with new episodes of Doctor Who, you have to have it with the BBC/the writers, you can’t blame Disney. i hate Disney as much as the rest of you but at least be accurate in your criticisms for christs sake. they are not changing things to be less (OR MORE) gay because of “Disney money”. good heavens

Please stop posting on AO3 with “I need help finding this fic…” works. I’m seeing this a worrying amount and I fear that it’s due to a very modernized social media view of how AO3 works. Archive of Our Own is an ARCHIVE, not a search engine. You can go on Tumblr, Instagram, TikTok, etc for help finding a fic, but AO3 is intended specifically for fanfiction and fanfiction ONLY. Not only is it against policy, but it is also frustrating to people searching through tags only to find several slots filled with fic searches.
