This room has been a constant during my time here in Brasilia. A constant source of pride, frustration, happiness, pain, success, failure, redemption, comfort. Any emotion, you name it, I've experienced it here in this room. Saying goodbye to this place is not easy. Saying goodbye to the people, students, and colleagues that have made this crazy city a home is nearly impossible.

Installment #1: What I Will Miss About Brazil
With ten weeks left in Brazil (and nine at EAB), I plan to share the things, places, events, and people I will miss when I leave Brazil, Brasilia, and EAB. I have completely and unintentionally abandoned the blog. I hope as I wrap up my time here I will return to the blog as a way to cope with my impending departure, just as I relied on it as I began my journey here in the Brazilian Highlands.
In today’s instalment of “What I Will Miss”
the fresh bread and fresh juice at Fartura (local grocery store)
the game: What will Fartura have today? Japanese peanuts? Tonic? Avocados? Ground beef?
my 10 minute walking commute
my wonderful maid, Maria, and my freshly ironed clothes every other Tuesday
