Coming to terms with yourself/your sexuality is just such an amazing feeling. Like I know factually that I’m abro, but I finally feel like I can say “yeah my attraction just changed. Yeah I’m ok with it” and move on. There are so many people telling me that who I am is wrong or nonexistent, but I can keep going because I’m sure of myself and who I am. If you’re not at this point yet, you’ll get there, I know it for sure. Things take time.

I just recently started following you and even tho I’m not abro I’m a supporter! I love the watermelon jokes and how the word “abro” kinda looks like “a bro”. Anyway, thanks for being awesome you and uplifting a small part of the queer community! Go watermelons! 🍉
~ adhd-jack-harkness
Yay! It’s really amazing to see awareness spreading to people who aren’t abro

Hello, I jusy found out your blog and had a question, is it abrosexuality if sometimes you're not sexually attracted to anyone (asexuality), but other times you are to some specific people (graysexuality)? Anyway thanks for the guidance to fellow watermelons :)
Of course! If your attraction changes in any way and you id as abro then it can absolutely be abrosexuality!
I do think there are specific terms for this (aceflux? acespike?) that you can look into, but abro works fine as a label if you want it :)

Just wanted to say, according to this calendar:
that I recently saw, it’s unofficial abro day!
Happy day of abrosexual and abroromantic visibility to everyone, I am hoping that we can continue to educate others about this sexuality and continue being the amazing 🍉s that we are!
#i actually came out to someone as abro today! and i explained what it meant!#abro day#abro day of visibility#Abrosexual#Abroromantic#unofficial pride calendar#abrosexuality#Pride 2021

Hey, j scrolled through you're blog for the past days (without liking because I get nervous as soon as I realise that you can see when I like your post sorry)
Anyways I love your blog. I feel validated and finally figured out how I can label myself. Labels are important to me and abro really doesn't get alot of attention. Thank you so much
(っ^▿^)っ♡
Thank you for saying that! This pretty much sums up my goal: helping abro people feel valid and seen and educating everyone about this sexuality!

With June being LGBT PRIDE month for the love of all things I am begging y'all for more Abrosexual representation.
For those of us who are creative PLEASE include abrosexuality in:
Lgbt art (icons, sketches, sculpture art, wallpapers, traditional art, digital art, etc.)
Affirmations ("abrosexuals are hecka cute")
Flag description lists
Social distance pride events (2021 year PRIDE stuff in person)

ABRO!!!
So…I’ve gotten a lot of pride flags. (There’s more. This is most of them) I feel like a post listing all of them at this point would be a bit much.
For this quilt: Redbubble
To see the pride flags individually: Pride Flags Collection

So my understanding of abro is that you might still call yourself gay, bi, ace, ect depending on your attractions. Is that correct? I feel different attractions but it feels weird changing my sexual identity all the time...
If you want to, you can! Most abrosexuals call themselves abro all the time, and could use the other labels when they feel it—or not! I personally call myself the label I am feeling at the time and always abro, but some people might just feel their attraction change and not feel the need to put a label on it. It’s completely up to the individual!

I'm pretty sure I'm abro and aceflux (and same on the romantic spectrum), but can you even be both? I see a lot of people saying something they switch to is asexuality, but for me it feels like something separate. Like abro refers to the genders I'm attracted to (like the different colors on a color wheel) and the ace spectrum refers to my ability to feel attraction to people in a sexual manner increasing and decreasing (like the shade of the color, I guess).
Yeah of course you can! Abrosexuality is, well, a very fluid label, so use it however it works for you! I really like that interpretation of colors :)
