What is Lavine City? What does ABO stand for?

Alpha/Beta/Omega, or ABO for short, is a universe similar to ours, however with a more “animalistic” nature—think of wolves. In the ABO universe, a person has a second gender: Alpha, Beta, or an Omega. Around ages 13-18 they will present themselves as one of the secondary genders; the presentation usually contains a heat or a rut and afterward. The human will have a particular scent dependent on whether they’re alpha, beta, or omega to alert others of their status and rank in life.

“…Over time, the gene pool for ABO dynamics evolved to support alphas over omegas. Being an omega is a recessive trait, and as the centuries passed, being an alpha became a more and more dominant trait.  The probability of presenting as an omega is rare, about 10%, but is not impossible. Because of this, omegas cannot bond regularly, giving them a lesser status in society…” Lavine City is a Haikyuu Alternate Universe Roleplay based on ABO dynamics, that is hosted on the platform Discord. Lavine City is mainly alphas, betas, and omegas, with Betas being slightly more dominant in numbers:
