I recently purchased a copy of this beautiful book—The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater—after hearing amazingly wonderful things about this series. Books also written by her that I have read are The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy (haven’t read Sinner) and The Scorpio Races. I listened to the audiobook of The Scorpio Races and LOVED IT.

It’s finally here and I’m so ready

When your gender and sexuality in literature professor throws a complete curveball for the final book of the semester, you get William S. Burroughs The Place of Dead Roads, the second book in a trilogy set in the Wild West ��☠🐎 . . Described as a “hyperkinetic adventure in which gunslingers fight for galactic freedom”, Burroughs novel is a complete mystery to me and I have no clue what to expect, but I’m certainly curious! . . Spending the afternoon with a latte and my new read before a meeting with a professor and class later! . . Happy hump day friends 🐫 . .
