How to choose an ISP ?
Tumblr media
ISPs allow customers to access the Internet while providing other services such as email, domain registration, and web hosting. ISPs can also provide different types of Internet connections, such as cable and fiber optic. The connection may or may not be broadband. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) states that to be considered broadband, a connection must have a download speed of at least 25 megabits per second (Mbps) and an upload speed of at least 3 Mbps. Users should choose an ISP based on several factors, including the following:
• Coverage area. Who are the service providers in the user's area? If the employee lives in a rural area, there may be limited options.
• The type of service provided. In addition to cable, fiber, DSL or satellite, does the ISP offer online security? Free email access? Website hosting? What about mesh Wi-Fi? Ensure that the ISP's offer matches the user's needs.
• Download and upload speed. Will this employee be playing online games or working from home and using video conferencing? Both require different levels of performance. For example, at least 25 Mbps of bandwidth is required to stream 4K video.
• Pricing. Do ISPs bundle services such as internet, telephone and television? If so, does this combination save money? Is there a data limit? What about the equipment costs? Is there a contract?
 • Customer satisfaction scores. Contact negative sources for vendor reviews. ISPs can slow down or throttle a user's internet connection speed to control traffic and reduce network congestion. ISPs can also throttle a user's internet connection speed when the user reaches a specified data limit. However, rate limiting undermines the concept of net neutrality, which is the common belief that ISPs should treat all information on the Internet equally.
For example, ISPs may choose to limit websites that users visit simply because they consume too much data. ISPs have, in the past, disrupted the Internet connection of their customers when connecting to Netflix, which means that the user experience on the Netflix platform is reduced because of the ISP.

What does 5G C-band mean?
Tumblr media
What are the benefits of 5G services?
It is expected that the 5G network will offer faster speeds, less interruption and greater capacity than the current wireless network, offering many new applications and services. 5G networks are expected to provide faster data speeds and more reliable connections than previous generations of wireless technology, making them ideal for applications such as video streaming, virtual reality and the Internet of Things.
What does 5G C-band mean?
5G C-band is expected to have a major impact on the way we use the internet. The speed and bandwidth of the 5G network enabled by the c band will enable many new applications and services such as video streaming, virtual reality and the Internet of Things. In addition, it is expected that 5G C-band will create new opportunities for businesses because it will enable faster speeds and more reliable connections.
5G C-Band Use Case
Real-time video: 5G C-band networks will offer faster speeds and more reliable connections, making them ideal for video streaming.
Failover: 5G enables failover devices that can be used as a backup if the network goes down.
Reduce data traffic: The 5G C-band network can be used as a secondary network, as a passive solution to prevent traffic from other networks in large sports venues such as stadiums.
Business and Industry: 5G C-band networks will create new opportunities for businesses as they enable faster data transfer and more reliable connectivity than ever before.

400g much more than a simple wireless update
5G is the hottest piece of wireless stuff these days, but as Ciena's Brian Lavallee explains, it also means a massive upgrade to the fabric of the wired network. That's why moment Ciena has introduced new capabilities to help network drivers prepare for 5G.
Tumblr media
Wireless dominates the news
Pre-5G trials, conception certifications, and idol trials have been in the news for more than a while, and with good reason. The anticipated performance of 5G leaps over being 4G LTE is truly aggressive and truly amazing. However, I'll be thoroughly impressed if we come close to the aspirations listed below in real world use cases.
• Up to 100 times faster data rates for advanced stoners
• Up to 100 times more connected bias (substantially IoT, non-human)
• Quiescence up to 10 times lower
• Up to 1000 times more data volumes
Most news content has been related to testing new 5G wireless technologies such as flexible waveforms, Massive Multiple-Input & Multiple-Assement (MIMO) antenna arrays, millimeter surge propagation, flexible codecs, new frequency bands , beamforming and ray shading. . This makes a lot of sense, since the first mobile network corridor to be upgraded will be the Radio Access Network (RAN).
The new 5G (NR) radios will be installed in locations that previously housed 2G, 3G and/or 4G radios and antennas. still, before large-scale 5G NR deployments begin, wireless merchants and mobile network controllers (MNOs) must also be confident that new wireless technologies perform reliably and to specification. The easiest way to achieve this critical stage is to attach 5G NR to a wired network fabric that previously served previous generations of wireless technology. Once 5G NR technology is proven, large-scale deployments will begin with great vigour. As a point of evidence, the GSMA states that "5G networks are read to cover around a third of the world's population by 2025, with a waiver reaching 1.1 billion connections."
5G New Radio (NR) Non-Standalone (NSA) Standard Approved
Last December in Lisbon (Portugal), a transcendental 5G corner was achieved. The NSA's 5G NR standard was passed to officially protest against the standards-based 400g era and the associated arms race between vendors selling equipment and MNO trading services.
