hello again > : ) tis I, amanda ( 18, she/they ) & I am here to bring a second character : tbh the complete opposite of clementine. under the cut , you’ll find some info on javier ( and his alien abduction ..👀 ) as well as some wanted connections !

( sean teale, he/him ) — hold on, was that javier hughes ? i heard that they do believe in the blackwater creeper and all the stories that come from the bayou. they’ve only been here for 11 months because he’s hunting the blackwater creeper. either way the locals said the twenty-six year old author from louisville, kentucky tends to be rather creative & honest, but also sarcastic & clumsy. ( alien abduction. empty beer bottles. constant explanation. )

life was good for dearest javier. he was born in louisville & lived with his parents and 2 older twin sisters

his grandfather was a rather famous author & would often tell javier tales of traveling and fans and all the luxury that being famous had to offer. little javier loved the idea of being famous. he quickly got into writing after his grandfather got him a stack of blank papers

adolescence was pretty normal. javi shockingly found himself in the “theater kids” clique in high school. he didn’t really fit in anywhere else & they were more than happy to welcome him into their group. he more-so wrote plays and did things behind the scenes than being on stage

everything started to change when he got a call that his parents were in a fatal accident when the boy was 17 - years - old. he was absolutely distraught ; his world absolutely turned upside down as he lost the two people who were supposed to be there for him in a blink of an eye

the night he got home from the hospital, he was very emotional and vulnerable. javier had a lot of trouble sleeping & was tossing and turning until . . . a blinding light shone through his window, causing him to look out. he could barely make out what he was looking at and before he knew it, he was knocked out

javier doesn’t remember much but he remembers enormous, pitch black eyes & gray skin - monsters like something out of a movie. he remembered laying faced upwards with straps tying him down. but other than that, he doesn’t recall much of what happened to him. the shrubs outside his window were absolutely burnt to a crisp and his window was shattered. he knew it was real. he knew it wasn’t a nightmare

whenever he tried to tell anyone about what had happened to him, he always got the same response. laughter and a “yeah, sure. whatever you say”. and every single time, it hurt his feelings. why didn’t anyone believe him? why were they making him try so hard to explain that what happened was real?

he started to spiral downwards . . . researching every conspiracy theory he could

a few years went by & javier caught the news of a creature called the blackwater creeper and immediately got on the case. his writing shifted from fiction to nonfiction. he wanted to write stories about his findings of supernatural beings and so, he packed his things headed to blackwaters
