Asda smart price (Final)

I have developed the 1949 to the packaging with straplines, the 1949 is the year that the Asda was found. First really simple experimented with just colours, others with background, number and strapline together placing them in different size and shapes. Making it look expensive rather than cheap and when people look at the price there should be shocked to see nice design packaging with less price.

I have developed the illsutration on all the packaging first in black and white, later with background coloured and Also added the colours to some part of the illsutration from the background, to see how it would look like on some of the packaging like orange and chips is looks nice but on some it does not look good there still look cheap weather its the colours or the illsutration.

I have sketches a few ideas having a photography of  the food and some photos may have illsutration as well. some of the ideas are which angle or how to place the foods are with illsutration and without illsutration, I am going to try both ideas to see which one is more  effected.

I did a photoshoot of the foods in different angles with other elements added to the food such as baked beens is the main focus but added toaste to it to make it more interested and people to be more engaged with the packaging.

 It still not working with the Asda smart price packaging it was too much going on and it was telling what was in the packaging.

I have looked at  different packaging design for food  all theses designs are using photography with illsutration and i would like to try out these all are cooked food but I would try food that is not made. The packaging is colourful and simple.

Street Art Kit (Final)

 Experimented with the box placing the design in different angle, trying to use some of the parts of the box to make it look luxury and rich. The strapline is placed inside the box for audience to have a motivate. Sketched out a rough ideas of how the box should look like with the label.

Placed the flowing lines onto the spray can in different angles and changed the colours of the lines by added effected like multi, light and screen.I placed the circles and splash design on the spray can to see how it will look. I experimented with effects like multi, dark and lunar burn. Also looked at the logo colours as I was placing the design most it is black and white later on I deiced to have a gradient of gold.

Developed more of the kit by adding colours on the background and seeing the contrast in each other. The white one is more effective than the coloured one because it is showing the colours design. I made a 3D of the box open and close on sketchup and experimenting with the design on top of the box.

These are some abstract shapes I have experimented on Photoshop and illustrator, Also designed with ”Valve” text in and without value. The liquid design is nice with the colors also should have added the text.  The other two are experimenting with shapes. The Valve type added circle pattern to see how the patterns work with graffiti kit.. Tringles and type with mud to have a feeling of graffiti, a messy atmosphere. 

Continues line flowing with type tangled in, also experimented with different colour background and type. Placed it in different angles as well. Experimented with colours bright and dark gradients colours.I wanted something abstract, 3D design. And the gradients make it 3D. The colours I have bright and dark mix of both not just one colour, some of the colours are the same as i used on the other design

Looked at different typeface mostly clear and readable typeface. Digitally designed the ideas with different typeface. I developed one of the logos by straightening the lines and adding more bold lines in different angles, experimented with line in diferent places of  the letters. The final logo is simple with equal bold line reflecting the letters.

Moodboard

I have looked into different elements such as printing and digital design. Some of theses designs are shape, size and pattern based. I am looking at different colors , as well as type and different fonts for my own branding for the spray can.

I like how there are all very colourful and modern using shapes and abstract images. All of these cans are very different from each other  and have there own identity, would like to use the colorfulness of the design. Also some of the cans have photography images which make is more attractive.
