Fuzing SEO and Social Media Marketing
Tumblr media
I have been arguing for a long time that SEO and Social Media Marketing are becoming the same thing. At least, they work together extremely well, or should.
Some of our new members wonder why the first thing we want to do for them is open up a bunch of social accounts. They picture hour on hour of wasted time wading through these sites looking for customers. But, luckily, that’s not the purpose at all!
I can see this in action when I Google my name, something you can, and should do. Anyway, while there are 387,000 pages currently online for my name, nine of the top ten results are me, not those thousands of other wannabe Dave Sherwin’s! (Sucks to be them.) But that’s not the real point. The real point is the analysis of the 9 results for my name:
1. my name dot com. Well, that makes sense, that’s just good SEO to own the URL of the keyword people are searching for.
2. EzineArticles results. Is EzineArticles a social site? I think so, and many would agree with me, but whether you think so or not, having an account open and posting articles about any keyword (including your name!) just makes sense in your SEO efforts.
3. My blog. A blog is also a social site. People can post, respond, and interact with the blogger, and blogs also get great SEO love from the search engines. So blogging is a great example of the fusion between SEO and Social Media Marketing.
4. My website.
5. Another article directory.
6. A twitter account. There you go, a purely social site coming up on the front page for a search term.
7. My LinkedIn profile. Again, a social site. I don’t do much in LinkedIn, but because I have an account there it ranks for my name when people Google me.
8. A fake guy with my name. How annoying.
9. My slideshare dot com account. Another social site…
10. Facebook.
So, depending on what you term to be a “social” site versus web 1.0, I’d say that about 50% of my personal web presence is from social sites. And in case you’re thinking that a person’s name isn’t that important of an SEO item, think again! People DO Google you! But whether they’re Googling you, your brand, or your product, the concept is the same. Good social media marketing fuzes perfectly with good SEO, they support and help each other, and if you want to be successful online, you need to use both.

Some Tips on SEO and Social Media Management
If you're looking for a way to increase ranking for SEO and social media management priority, here are your best bets: Facebook, Twitter, and blogs. These three social network sites are the most popular among users and business people alike. These are also indexed in SEO, and will help you increase your rankings if you are active enough in these sites. Not only that but also, the number of people you are connected with can help raise your SEO rank. SEO and social media management is not as hard as it seems, it only needs a little effort and a few tips like these:
Know your target network. Take into account that we're talking about more than half a million people in these big three sites alone, and with that amount of possible connections, you can find a vast sea of potential customers. But I'm not saying you should add everybody. Just because you have an ocean in front of you doesn't mean you should take the whole thing. You should know what your bait is so you can sift through it to find the right fish. You can search for potential customers using searches aimed at the right people, may it be location, age, and other factors you might want to look into before considering a person a potential customer.
Make sure the social network page you created doesn't collect dust. Keep on updating your activity online so that users can see that you are productive in creating new ideas for your product. Even though it's not as important as a new launch, just post about stuff going on in the company like little updates here and there, keeping your name in the newsfeed.
Keep up to date with events going on around you. Even though it's a business page, that doesn't mean you can't post about what's going on in the world. Just make sure you don't post any biased opinions on issues, because this may repel some customers who don't share the same views.
Create conversations in your page like asking your connections about stuff that may help you in business. Since social networking is all about connecting people, you should connect with the people in your network by posting questions that they can respond to so that you can engage in conversation with them. This creates a feel of authenticity when it comes to your website ambience, and a warm welcome to site visitors is always appreciated. Asking for feedback in the site also lets your followers know that you aim to give them better service, enlightens you as to where you lack effort in, and encourages you to create better products. This results in customer loyalty and possible advertising through link shares, increasing success for both SEO and social media management.
Lastly, you can use a social media management tool to monitor your online activity to reduce the effort you put into checking these social media sites. There are free programs that you can download for this purpose, and it's up to you to choose which one is most suited for you.

If you’re ready to get started, contact us today. We’ll help you get the necessary equipment to take your business to the next level. Equipment financing is our specialty; we’re here to help you succeed.
What is Equipment Financing?
Equipment financing is a type of lending that allows businesses to purchase equipment and pay for it over time. This can be a useful option for businesses that need to update their equipment but may not have the upfront cash to do so. Equipment financing can also help businesses keep their monthly expenses low by spreading the cost of the equipment over time.
Equipment financing is a good option for businesses that don’t have the upfront cash to purchase the equipment outright. It can also finance the purchase of new or used equipment. Equipment financing typically has a lower interest rate than a traditional business loan, making it a more affordable option for businesses. Equipment loans are typically repaid for 2–5 years, depending on the loan’s terms.
Equipment financing can be used to purchase a wide variety of equipment, including:
- Manufacturing equipment
- Office furniture
- Computers and software
- Vehicles
- Machinery
- Tools
Terms of Heavy Equipment Financing:
What is a down payment? Down payments are the cash payments or trade-ins an individual has to make on top of the purchase price of the equipment. These can come from selling something unnecessary, liquidating stocks and bonds, or selling assets such as life insurance or investment portfolios. They are paid directly to the heavy equipment lender for the privilege of getting financing for their new piece of heavy equipment.
Trade-Ins: Some heavy equipment lenders accept trade-ins on the heavy equipment, but most will not. Equipment previously owned and operated is not a great option for those looking to qualify for financing, but sometimes it is the only way for people to buy heavy machinery. The trade-in value should be compared to the amount owed on the old piece of heavy machinery to help determine if it’s worth trading in and how much money will be needed to finish the transaction when selling the old equipment.
Interest Rates: Like most other lending institutions, heavy equipment lenders offer a variety of interest rates to their customers. Knowing the interest rate, you will be charged before starting the application process is important. Some heavy equipment lenders charge a flat rate that doesn’t change over the loan’s lifetime, while others charge yearly or monthly rates that are susceptible to change along with changes in the prime lending rate. Ask the lender for a specific rate before starting a loan application, as most will not quote rates over the phone or email.
Down Payment: Unlike other lending institutions, heavy equipment lenders require a large down payment from those looking to finance their equipment. The amount of down payment required varies with each lender and is taken directly out of the total price of the equipment. Depending on how much money you have available and if you have enough capital to cover this amount, deciding whether or not to apply for heavy equipment financing may be an important decision.
Repayment Terms: Depending on the lending institution and the options available, you may be able to finance a loan through monthly payments instead of a lump sum. The negotiated rate offered will go up if payments start on time and will decrease if payments are late. Many lenders offer low-interest rates to those who can make installments instead of taking out a lump sum. It’s important to confirm whether or not an installment plan is available with the heavy equipment lender before deciding whether they are right for your needs.
Equipment Financing
Businesses utilize equipment financing to purchase business-related equipment. Obtaining these assets can be through equipment leasing or equipment financing, which doesn’t require businesses to pay out of pocket large amounts of cash. Ultimately freeing up working capital within the business.

Future of Social Media Marketing
Tumblr media
Mention social Media marketing and you are constantly reminded of the changes that happen every day in this industry. We have crossed six months into 2021, and in this Covid-19 crisis, digital marketers are on the constant lookout for new strategies, tactics to gain customers for their customer's products and services. As per industry experts, 2021 is the year when the industry removes the dead dud marketing strategies and embraces new technologies to approach customers and boost sales. This article on "Future of Digital Marketing?" throws more light on the concepts.
Digital Marketing in the Future
A. Shoppable Posts
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the never-before problems of social distancing and lockdowns in many parts of the globe. With customers on the lookout for easier ways to shop, digital marketers thought of the brilliant concept of Shoppable posts. So, when a customer browses a social media platform, he/she comes across a shoppable post (product/service) with the link given in the bio. The customer finds it easy to tap and buy the product or opt for the service. For example: the Clothing brand, Anthropologie uses the same technique to attract customers. Many brands are soon to follow the cue and shoppable posts will become the future of digital marketing strategies to boost marketing campaigns.
B. Programmatic Advertising
The marketing team finds it difficult to place advertisements on all channels that give valuable information regarding products/services frequented by the target audience. Programmatic advertising solves this challenge as it offers customers personalized advertisements on their favorite channels at specific places based on their interests/behavior.
Companies that make use of programmatic advertising are - Expedia (tourism), BuildDirect (Home Improvement) and AirAsia (airlines). Programmatic advertising can be called the future of Digital Marketing, as it focuses on the Share of Attention of customers and can make way for the best advertising campaign. Yes, did we forget to inform you that it gives the best ROI?
C. Interactive Content
Digital Marketing experts are always on their toes to retain the loyal customers of their company, by various methods. The idea is to make customers not only shop but also interact via polls, online quizzes, signing for gift vouchers, and more. Yes, digital marketers will face a hard time creating content not only in words but also in web design. The website as well the social media posts should not only interest the target audience but also outsmart the competition. They also have to take care that the content matches the brand and objective of their organization.
D. Voice Search
There was a time when customers who opted for purchases on E-Commerce websites were above 25 years of age. Cut to the present, even children and teenagers have become regular customers of online shopping offers. And, they purchase a product or opt for service via the Voice Search method. With IoT-enabled apartments becoming famous with households, content managers along with the digital marketing team have their hands full in making the website/product content optimized for voice-friendly requests by digital assistants for the future. They need to focus on long-tail keywords, and also need to have deep knowledge of the target audience.
E. Influencer Marketing
The concept of Influencer Marketing is not new, as movie stars endorsed products/services in radio and television since the 1940s. However, the name "influencer marketing" stands apart. An individual with a huge following in social media platforms (for example, Instagram) is approached by brands to market products. But there are challenges, as the general public has become aware of the multinational corporations signing these influencers for large paychecks. So, there is corporate distrust, and the target audience makes a decision based on the influencer's credibility. This concept will stay grounded and will play a vital role in the digital marketing field.
Conclusion
True, there are other technologies that play a prominent role in digital marketing such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots and more, but we have focused on only the other four in this article. Digital marketers in the years to come will have to successfully include the emerging technologies in their strategies. This is to not only reach the target audience with precision, but also outsmart the competitors.

Daniel Craig gets knighthood from Princess Anne
Tumblr media
Just like his character James Bond, actor Daniel Craig also received a knighthood from Princess Anne on October 18.
The actor, 54 was awarded a Companion of The Order of St Michael and St George (CMG) from Princess Anne at an investiture ceremony held at Windsor Castle for his service to film and theatre.
The announcement had a nice touch to it as it was made via The Royal Family’s official Twitter handle with the statement “We’ve been expecting you…” which was a tribute to his James Bond character.
Craig received the award for his services to film and theatre as part of Queen Elizabeth’s annual New Year’s honors list. Craig first played James Bond in 2006’s Casino Royale and his last Bond appearance was in No Time To Die in September 2021. He has played James Bond five times.
He started acting in 1992 and has appeared in films such as Lara Croft:Tomb Raider, Dream House, Enduring Love. Knives Out, Layer Cake and others.
The investiture ceremony was the first since Queen Elizabeth’s death on Sept 8. The tradition dates back centuries to when members of the royal family would present medals to those who have been awarded honors.
The CMG order was first established in 1818 by King George IV when he was still Prince Regent. It is the sixth-most senior award in the British honors system.
It is presented to men and women who occupy high positions or provide extraordinary or significant non-military service to the United Kingdom in a foreign country.
Last week, the Prince of Wales, Prince William hosted his first investiture ceremony where he presented Vanessa Redgrave with a Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, which is the female equivalent of a knighthood.
The Prince also made Emma Probert who is Kate Middleton’s special protection officer a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

Elon Musk Has The Temper Of A Toddler

Elon Musk has the ‘temper of a toddler,’ according to BBC documentary on his life
Elon Musk Has The Temper Of A Toddler
Elon Musk can be like a toddler having a temper tantrum at times. This is what his former marketing chief has claimed in a BBC documentary titled The Elon Musk Show. The documentary chronicles the life of Musk and how he came to be the richest person in the world.
Tesla’s former marketing chief Colette Bridgman said “Musk once got really angry… and was yelling at me about a mistake that someone on my team made.
“I wasn’t seeing Elon Musk - I was seeing this person that was taken by anger. It was so bizarre. Like a toddler that was having a tantrum about something, or upset about something.”
“There were moments when he would definitely get upset and you heard of him firing people on the spot. All of that happened,” said Bridgman who left the company in 2017 after 13 years.
“There were a number of times that I witnessed Elon sleeping in the factory, showing people how important it is to be focused on finding a solution. Because if Elon Musk can take the time to sleep there and be there 24 hours a day, everyone else should make the time.”
Space X’s former talent chief Dolly Singh said that she took the bad with the good when working for Musk. “If you mess with the recipe you mess with the mag
In the first episode of the broadcast on October 12, Zip2 vice-president Jim Ambras said “he would get really angry that the entire company wasn’t there in the office at 9 o’clock at night after looking to see who was sitting at their cubes.”
Apparently in another interview another former employer of Zip2, a systems engineer, Branded Spikes had told BBC producers that Musk was an unusual fellow who worked late, slept under his desk and seemingly knew it all.
Interestingly this habit of working late Musk was likely to have cultivated from childhood as his mother Maye Musk said that she would often struggle to wake him up in the morning because he would stay up all night reading books.
Unfortunately The Elon Musk Show will only be available in the United Kingdom according to BBC. There are currently two episodes that are already streaming on its iPlayer service.

How to Combine Online Media Marketing and SEO
SEO and social media are only two of the many different marketing strategies that can successfully be combined. The combination of these two strategies is a great way to increase your website's online visibility as well as drive new traffic to your site. If you are looking for a new marketing strategy to implement, this may be the perfect one for you.
The world of online marketing is comprised of many different aspects each with their own set of benefits. It is common for many business owners to focus on one type of marketing technique without fully investigating how the others can benefit them as well. What many business owners fail to understand is that they can achieve the best result by combining one marketing strategy with another; the two easiest and most promising marketing strategies to combine are search engine optimization and social media marketing.
Search engine optimization or SEO as it is also known, refers to technique of improving the online visibility of your website. The marketing strategy is used by many different websites to increase their existing page ranks on search engine results. SEO is a proven method to use to help companies get the attention of internet users, as well as attracting new customers to their website.
Social media marketing is a marketing strategy that is carried out through the various social media platforms that are popular today. This marketing technique requires that businesses create pages on these websites in order to promote their business and products. This method of marketing has proven to be quite successful and allows businesses the opportunity to interact with their customers in a way that was virtually unheard of in previous years.
In order to successfully combine these two marketing techniques and increase the online visibility of your business there are some simple steps that you should follow.
· The first thing that you should do is to optimize your social media accounts. This can be accomplished in the same way that you would optimize your website. You should include keywords and phrases that will help your social media pages get noticed by search engines.
· The next thing that you should do is to place social media sharing buttons on your website. Placing these buttons on your website will allow you to link your website and social media pages. It will also help increase you're the page rank of your website in search engine results. It will also allow visitors to your website to instantly share your content on their own pages, this is a great way to increase your page likes as well as make others aware of your products.
· Your next step should be to post links to your website on your different social media pages. This will help drive traffic to your website and increase its online visibility.

Back To Basics: What Is SEO Marketing?
Many marketing agencies typically assume the people reading their content already know what SEO marketing (search engine optimization marketing) is but what we've found is not everyone understands the basics of SEO and why it is important for their web presence. Because of the growing importance placed on social media marketing, many believe they can either implement SEO OR social media. That's simply not the case anymore; SEO goes hand-in-hand with social media for a good website strategy. Lets take it back to basics and discuss: What is SEO Marketing?
Tumblr media
SEO Marketing Defined.
According to Search Engine Land:
SEO stands for "search engine optimization." It is the process of getting traffic from the "free," "organic," "editorial" or "natural" listings on search engines. All major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing have such results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Payment isn't involved, as it is with paid search ads. Let's break it down.
It is the process of getting traffic from the "free," "organic," "editorial" or "natural" listings on search engines.
When you do a search on Google, you typically either find what you're looking for within the first page, or you go back and change your search query. Let's look at a search example. Search for "seo marketing appleton wi".
The top part of the search results are typically the paid results. You can tell because they have a small orange box with the word "Ad" next to them. The unpaid results are what are referred to as "free", "natural", "organic" and "editorial" in the definition. When a user clicks one of these links, the website has successfully grasped their attention and is now a potential solution for whatever it is they were searching for.
All major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing have such results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users.
These results are shown in all search platforms, whether it is one of the major ones: Google, Bing and Yahoo; or lesser known platform options. However, none of these platforms don't just KNOW you have the best product and automatically rank you first. You have to prove it with your online presence.
Payment isn't involved, as it is with paid search ads.
As mentioned above, the results above the organic links are paid. That's a topic for another article, just know that you'll never see an organic result ABOVE the paid search results.
Why is SEO Important for Your Website?
So now that you understand what SEO Marketing is, but how is it relevant to your website? Can SEO even work for you? Why can't you just promote your site on social media? Great questions. First off, how is SEO marketing relevant to your website? 75% of people click on one of the top five results in Google, and few (roughly 25%) will go to the second page for search results. If that is not reason enough, then also consider these SEO statistics:
75% of internet transactions start with a search engine An inbound lead (someone who finds your website and fills out a "Contact Us" form) costs 61% less than an outbound lead (a sales call) SEO leads have a 14.6% close rate, while outbound leads have a 1.7% close rate 93% of online experiences begin with a search engines Search Engine Optimization vs. Social Media Marketing?
Some say search is not limited to a search platform anymore because you can find businesses in your Twitter feed, LinkedIn, and on Facebook. This is true. However, when someone comes across your company on Facebook for example, they are most likely there to browse, or get support, they aren't necessarily looking for you because they're ready to buy your product or service.
Your potential customers are probably sitting on social media out of curiosity and/or boredom. When someone is ready to buy or in research mode, they are searching specifically for something you might be able to provide which increases the likelihood you'll get a customer. This alone is reason enough not to ignore SEO in your web marketing strategy.
SEO Marketing and Social Media Work Hand-In-Hand
Becoming a brand leader on social media will show your potential customers you know what you are talking about. Search engines see how much your content is shared, how many people are interacting with you, and how well you manage your brand. This allows your company to gain trust, and therefore could bump up your website's rankings in search engines. If you only learn one thing about SEO and social media from this article, this is it: You can't have one without the other if you want to be competitive online.

Peak Performance in Sports
In the sports arena, peak performance in sports has always been a much sought after state by players and coaches of all levels. Whether the athletes are school boys soccer players or Olympians striving for their Gold medals, peak performance in sports has always attracted athletes and coaches alike. In our modern age of sports, where sports science is at a stratospheric level and rising, what are the factors that when applied correctly can lead sports participants to peak performance in sports? Are there secrets to sporting excellence? Are these factors easily manipulated for the benefits of the athletes? This article discusses the factors that can lead athletes and coaches to peak performance in sports.
There has been many articles and books detailing principles, programs, success factors and the like that can lead to peak performance in sports. Many authors have written at length about them and in many ways, the principles and factors are universal. The principles of progressive resistance, variety, goal specific training, recovery, etc are all undisputed underlying reasons that allows athletes to achieve peak performance in sports. This article goes a step further by exploring these universal factors in a different light. In the process, I hope to give athletes and coaches alike how to practically apply these principles and which are the factors with higher weightage in terms of achieving success and peak performance in sports.
There are basically two set of factors we need to look into. Technical and human factors. Let us take a look at the former set of factors first;
Technical Factors
1. Quality Preparation 2. Mastering Individual Skills 3. High Fitness Levels 4. Understanding Overall Team Play 5. Filling Up Key Positions of the Team 6. Minimise Errors in Games
1. Quality Preparation
The hard work for any sports season begins with the preseason training which is very intensive. No body likes this season, as the work and training required is often very boring and painful. But this has to be done for the athletes to be optimally prepared for the rigours of the competitive phase. The endurance, strength, speed and skill volumes must be done. Not just the volume of work, but how much quality is put into the preparation phase is vital as well. When players cut corners and put in training at face value without their heart and soul, it will show up later in the competition as fatigue, injuries or lack of sharpness in their performance. Peak performance in sports cannot be possible under such circumstances. The quality of preseason preparation is even more important in youth sports.
Very often in schools, the playing seasons for many sports start almost immediately when the school year starts. With our children away for long vacations, our athletes very often return to school to face competitions with very little training time. Team play, fitness building and mental preparation are supposed to be done in 2-3 weeks, which in a sports world is almost impossible and impractical. This kind of preparation is also detrimental to the development of our children. Under these circumstances, coaches and teachers (and parents if possible) have a very important responsibility to ensure that our athletes are well prepared for competition. Training programmes for sports ought to be drawn up and implemented at year's end previously. Our athletes need to understand that that their season effectively began when their examinations are over. With a training programme started, coaches and teachers can than instruct athletes about a vacation training programme as well. Each athlete should have one whereby, they can do something to improve their playing abilities during their break away from school. It could include things like maintain a certain standard of fitness through endurance activities like cycling, running or swimming, playing catch and pitching in the backyard with their siblings, or even individual practices to improve certain skills. The main thing here is to preserve and improve what has been attained in the preceding season, so that athletes do not return back to school and start from scratch. Simply planning and training this way will ensure quality preparation for the sports teams to attain peak performance in sports later.
2. Mastering Individual Skills
In all sports and games, there are certain skill sets and skills that are considered basic and necessary. These must be achieved by athletes before they can play at a higher level later. In basketball, dribbling and executing a proper lay-up are crucial. Throwing, catching and fielding skills are a must in baseball and softball. The push-pass and receiving a pass are necessary skills in hockey and floor ball. The list goes on.
