I love aang so much, he’s the spirit of the child that’s inside us, the child that believes that no one is evil and would never even think to hurt anyone. A child who all forgot as we got to know how the real world was

Poor girl. Just because she fell in love with an innocent, dangerous monk in the most natural, honest way possible. No lies. No manipulation. Just feelings, growth, and trust.They say they love her.But they can���t accept that she ended up with a monk.So what do they do

They turn their backs.

They insult her.

They twist her character until it fits their fantasy.

They mock her future.

Call her a whore.

Call her a baby machine.

Trash her kids ,kids that didn’t even ask to be dragged.

And for what?

To satisfy some selfish desire?

To protect a made-up fantasy world?

To cry over a guy who never even loved her the way they claim?

Katara deserved better than the hate she gets for a love she chose.

A love that didn’t manipulate her, didn’t lie, didn’t chase her like a prize.Just met her where she was.

And that burns them ,because it wasn’t what they wanted.

But guess what?

It was never about them.

It was about her.

Justice. For. Katara.

Oh so I made the first part of the Kataang series…. Yay :)

like wdym sokka and katara were ten and nine when their mother died and thirteen and twelve when their father left wdym they raised each other wdym they can't treat each other like normal kids because they have this twisted fucked up family grief thing going on where they had to rely on each other to keep going through the loss of their childhoods and I don't think they've ever sat down and talked about what they've been through I think they just quietly exist together in shared trauma and shared grief and a little pool of resentment and anger and love and affection and it makes me so !!!

I just feel like Katara and Zuko would have the PETTIEST beef regarding Aang. They are friends, and they don’t harbor any actual problems with each other, but the rivalry and butting heads persists. They both think the other is trying to take Aang away from them. Like:

Katara: Zuko what are you doing here?

Zuko: I just came by to see my BEST FRIEND Aang. We’re having boys night tonight.

Katara: Oh, my BOYFRIEND and I are actually going out on a date tonight!

Zuko: That’s strange. I don’t remember him MENTIONING you!

Katara: Hahaha! That’s probably because—

Aang: Hey, I’m glad you guys could make it! Are you both ready to go?

Katara and Zuko: What.

i was genuinely surprised to find out that people thought that Zuko refusing to give his seat to Aang in Ember Island Players so aang and katara could sit together was Zuko having romantic feelings for Katara

because it really read to me more like ‘ex-Prince Zuko, who couldn’t see a hint if it tried to eat his head, fails to see the complexities of a romance going literally right outside his door 24/7 now’

he sat down and he’s being obstinate and refusing to move, its not PERSONAL for him, he’s just an oblivious dork

I like girls but if i met a man that looked like sokka from atla i fear i would fall in love instantly
