Is there a way to customize the message box? As in - pull the window bigger? There's so much wasted space on the right side (may be due to my monitor) but still...

"To live in the past is to die in the present. Aside from that, it's fruitless and wont change the cause of things. You'll just end up questioning every little decision you made. Where would that start and where would that end? You did the best you could and that is more than most do. Don't beat yourself like that. You should be proud of yourself - because I am."

"You think so? Sometimes I wonder if there wasn't more I could have done, so maybe things would've been different..."

Kukki thought about the second question for a moment. The grander scale of things... "Hmmm... If you put it that way, then I have even less faith in the fact that we humans could force change upon others or something as a whole. We are not God, so even if we think we could modify nature and make it better by going against its natural way of existing is nothing but an anomaly, an abomination if you will. If things could have been better, then they would've already been. After all, nature itself has been here and evolved for billions of years, far before humanity was even a concept in the making. It would be impossible to change in a century or even a millennium something that's taken a literal eternity to be what it's now and call it 'better'. All we do is destroy the little bit we've still got left from the beauty of the untouched wilderness, by trying to 'perfect' it. This useless fight against the flow of life itself is what will most likely be the downfall of humanity as we know it." Kukki finished her little ramble and shrugged her shoulders. "As for us humans... We're creatures of habit. So while nature might be unable to fully oppose to the changes we try imposing onto it, humans will always be resistant to change. So forcing something onto us, even if 'for the greater good' is a mission bound to fail before even trying. That's why I am saying that people will never change if they aren't willing to do so themselves."
At some point, Tora thought of switching positions - even if it wasn't the one he stood for - just so they wouldn't go along with all their opinions. While her elaboration was on point and not fully similar to his own thoughts, it was still very much close to his point of view as well.
On the other hand, it was also nice to share the same train of thought and opinion with someone, finding new little aspects that undergird the own one with a different argument.
"The inflated ego and hubris of a huge part of society is very evident in this one. As if we think we can cross the line and become god, or another deity - that could defy the laws of physic and nature. How arrogant and ignorant that is, in fact. But what do you think, where this thought comes from? Some seem to have it and some of us don't - what would need to happen to separate from such foolish thought?"
