Homare Arisugawa General HCS

request: “Hi Sora! I never see any art/writing for my boy Homare from A3! (Maybe because his dialogue is so ridiculous.) Would you mind writing something for him?” from tlali

a/n: ahhh i don’t think i’ve ever taken so long in a request jdjdndnd but i just wanted to make it right because i love homare so much❕ he deserves everything and more i just HDHSJJA we need more homare love 🤬 his dialogue is hilarious and i feel like we need to appreciate his style more no more homare slander 🙅

word count: 1667

- He smells like earl gray tea. No one knows why since he uses unscented soaps, he says it’s probably because he spends most of his time drinking or around tea.

- He’s very particular about his hair, he uses very specific shampoos and conditioners that he will absolutely not share or change unless he notices his hair needs it. Talking about his hair, it’s naturally kind of dry so he uses a lot of hydrating products which leaves him with the softest, most fluffy hair ever. It’s like touching a cloud.

- One of his favorite gifts given to him is a tie given to him as a birthday gift by his members. Everyone pitched it, including Izumi, and Azuma picked it out. It’s black, much like his everyday tie, but it’s got a small embroidered snowflake.

- He’s got three main pairs of glasses; his everyday ones he keeps at hand when he goes out, his at home ones which are (according to him) less flattering, and his driving ones. Keep in mind he can’t drive, he doesn’t even own a car.

- He can speak french and latin, and he’s super loud about it too. He’ll sometimes slip in french phrases and no one will understand other than Chikage and it’s just a mess - Muku is always so amazed that he knows two other languages too and probably asks him to teach him sometime.

- Definitely has the prettiest handwriting when it comes to the roman alphabet, he writes in ink and with fancy pens that cost more than Banri’s tuition.

- Absolutely has a bunch of business cards printed out, each with its own quote made by him. Sakyo thought it was such a waste printing them until he realized that no matter how many Homare took when he went to run errands he always gave them all, to whom? No one knows.

- He’s very well respected in the literary community, which still shocks pretty much everyone. He gets stopped often by fans or people who’ve read his work, it happens at least once a day and Izumi really doesn’t… she doesn’t understand, poor girl.

- He’s not that good with phone calls, he’s not bad but he definitely prefers texting or just talking face to face. To him there’s just a certain level of discontent he doesn’t like that doesn’t exist in other mediums.

- His favorite shows are either comedies or heavy hitting detective shows, there is no inbetween. You’ll walk in on him watching a sitcom leave the room and walk in on a serial killer chase down.

- About his love for detective shows, his favorite pastime is trying to solve the mysteries with the main character. He’ll rewatch the episode so many times to try and pick up clues, he’ll take notes and come to a conclusion and he loves the feeling of getting it right.

- In the same spirit as the statement above, absolutely got Tsumugi and Sakyo hooked on some of his favorites and they hang out to talk about the latest episodes and the overarching mystery. The conversations can tend to get kind of heavy very quick, more than once Muku thought they were investigating a real crime and almost fainted.

- He looks like he’s probably allergic to wool sweaters, they make his skin itch and he always needs to use a shirt underneath them - so he tends to buy those expensive anti-allergic ones that need to be washed in a very specific way that could probably pay Tsuzuru’s whole college debt and it takes a lot of restraint from the playwright not to steal one and sell in the black market.

- Talking about Tsuzuru, he often gives him writing advice. Said advice tends to be very useful, like keeping a pen and notebook on him in case anything comes to mind during the day or writing daily to help ease him into a style, etc. Homare genuinely wants him to bloom into a writer and is willing to beta-read anything Minagi needs, be it a script or a sleep deprived rambling about the gay subtext in Nocturnity.

- Arisugawa sets himself reading goals each month, he likes to read at least one book. He prefers poetry books or classic english literature, but he also likes to read romance books or really bizarre dystopian novels.

- Has read more books than most people in the company and can give very detailed recommendations if you give him like a day.

- Sings operas in the shower, unless stopped he will keep going until the second act. Surprisingly good falsetto, but one time Tenma thought it was a Banshee for a second and almost cried into Juza’s chest.

- He’s not only an overly emotional drunk but also a loud drunk, he’s already quite loud but when he’s downed half a bottle of wine and a shot of vodka he’s louder than the Summer Troupe combined. Because of this, Izumi tends to restrict his alcohol intake when they’re at the dorm.

- I can see him being very big into musicals, not all musicals but a very specific niche; classic horror novels turned into musicals. He’s a very big fan of both the German and Korean versions of Dracula, his favorite song is probably “Zu Ende” or the Korean version of “It’s Over”. He also likes the Frankenstein musical too, but overall he finds Junsu’s Dracula more interesting thus his preference.

- He will talk your ear off if you mention any musical though, be it a classic like Phantom or something newer like Heathers.

- A very big fan of Ghibli movies, he told me so himself today. He really likes Spirited Away though, it’s a movie he’s watched so many times but he’s still completely enamoured by it; he probably has made the Winter Troupe watch it at least once and Hisoka definitely knows the beginning of the movie by heart now.

- Homare is also really good at drawing, not like Kazunari but he’s probably the second best. He learned by analyzing and looking at artists he admired and picking up on their techniques. A true Renaissance Man™️.

- I feel like he’d also have a bunch of skills that are kind of, useless? He can probably carve wood and make candles, he also took a course in glass blowing probably. Arisugawa just wants to try everything at least once, his motto is probably to explore and learn as much as possible, not just about art but the world (he can be surprisingly smart if you have a dictionary at hand).

- Very observant, just in general. Which can be both good and bad, it’s good because it helps him understand the situation in ways others might not but it leads to him to sometimes overthinking things and behaving in manners which may annoy or hurt others.

- He also has a hard time trying to react to social cues, as seen in game, with certain people. While he’s worked it out with the Winter troupe and the Mankai company he still struggles when it comes to new people.

- Will make little tunes he sings in the shower that kind of become a little daily song, each day there’s a new one he’ll hum.

- He also canonly makes music and he makes contemporary electro-pop, you cannot change my mind. He probably also mixes opera and classical music into his tunes, which can go from 1 minute to 10, so you end up with a very cool mix of orchestra and techno-pop - it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he’s probably got his own niche group.

- Now, into more romantic HCs...

- He’s a good flirt, a very good flirt. They may sound weird looking back at it, but his pickup lines work and they work well.

- He knows when to stop pursuing someone too. He senses even a bit of discomfort and he’s backing away, won’t ask anything. Very big on consent and unless stated absolutely explicitly he’ll keep his distance.

- A true gentleman, please - he’ll never let his dates pay, always open the doors for them, will even do the “walk on the inside of the sidewalk” when he’s walking you home.

- His favorite dates tend to be ones where you get to know more about each other, not always necessarily by talking though. Being able to go into a bookstore and look at the books, seeing the ones you pick, what you pick at a cafe or restaurant, it all helps him draw a better picture of who you are and he likes to think it helps you get to know him better too.

- He’s very in tune with his S/O’s feelings but is afraid of overstepping any boundaries which may lead to some miscommunication at the beginning of the relationship. But it’s workable and it wouldn’t be that big an issue in the long run as long as his partner is willing to help him understand them.

- Not big on PDA, thinks certain things should remain inside - not to say he wouldn’t talk for hours about his partner to anyone who listens but things like kissing or hugs tend to be behind closed doors. He’s okay with hand holding and maybe a kiss on the cheek though!

- Likes wearing matching outfits with his S/O, thinks it shows how they’re “one in spirit, heart, and mind” and will not stop pointing it out to the point even married couples feel single as they hear him ramble on about the subtle coordination in your color schemes to create a perfect contrast.

- Notices the smallest things like how much sugar you like in your drinks, the telltale signs of when you’re lying or uncomfortable, how you act when you’re too cold or too hot, and learns it by heart.

- Homare is also the kind of boyfriend who’d confront the waiter if they get your order wrong, he’s not ashamed of it either.

- He kind of just wants to make sure you’re doing well and happy, he’s a gentleman.

- Damn… I love him so much

Hc that juza 100% did not know that you could dip your finger into (cooled!!!!) wax and it wouldn’t burn.

Banri found this out when he was showing taichi how to make wax flower petals and was about to dip his finger in the wax when juza lunged over and grabbed his arm. [big sibling protection instincts never go away]. Banri was confused as hell and so was juza but for different reasons

Banri: ‘???? why are you grabbing my arm?? You wanna fight or something?’

Juza: ‘???? why are you actively trying to BURN YOURSELF??? Are you dumber than I gave you credit for??’

Once it all gets cleared up juza is a teeny bit [read: very much so] embarrassed so he just leaves to go on a walk, while banri finds himself giggly and strangely glad knowing that juza moved that fast to try and ‘protect’ him.

Hi there!! I haven’t written much for Azami but I’d love to take the chance to write for him! Tenma

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU KNOW THE DIRECTOR?!”

As much as he’s confident most of the time, Izumi’s one of the few people Tenma wouldn’t mind showing his other sides to, and he has a lot of respect for the Director for being able to handle him at his worst.

He feels indebted to at least inform her, so yeah, he talks to Izumi about his s/o. Izumi would be a bit confused and would be “why are you telling me this?” at first.

Izumi later figures out why, and she gives him a “I’m happy for you two, you can ask me for relationship advice if you need it, okay?”

Taichi

“You also know the Director? That’s so cool!”

Taichi would be over the moon with two of his important people knowing each other. “[y/n]-chan, wanna come over for dinner? I’m sure Director-sensei would be happy to see you!”

Ofc he tells Azami about his s/o coming over for dinner, and ends up getting lectured about the implications of inviting his s/o for dinner

Fast forward a few hours, and Taichi’s greeting his s/o at the door in a full suit and all cleaned up. “Hey [y/n]-chan... why am I in a suit...? Oh, haha, this is like meeting the parents or something, right?”

Azami

Azami would definitely tell Izumi because even if they aren’t blood-related, he still finds the need to tell her.

He’ll ask his s/o to come over so they can tell Izumi that they’re dating. You can expect both of them to turn up in formal clothes.

Izumi finds it quite amusing how formal and mature Azami is for telling her that they’re dating. But if Azami formally asks her for permission to date them, then who is she to deny? She’s already seen how much Azami has improved since joining the company.

She does approve, but not without some teasing. “Taking the first step, I see. You’ve grown up so much, Azami!” “Director.... :<<” “Invite us to the wedding, okay?” “WEDDING? DIRECTOR, THAT’S TOO FAST!!”

Ooh! This should be interesting and kinda difficult, since Japanese idol culture when it comes to love life is kinda... y'know (´∀｀；)

I'll write headcanons for spring troupe for now! Spring Troupe with an idol!s/o! I'm more confident and comfortable on doing female idol since I used to be a Wota (an extreme one, if I'm being honest 💦), so reader will use feminine pronouns, sorry if that makes you uncomfortable. Feel free to request other troupes if you like this one. Have a nice day! 🌻

Sakuya

- Before you two date each other, you were already a fan of Mankai. You accidentally saw a poster of Romeo and Julius and decided to go watch the play. And then you saw Romeo. He became your favorite actor. He shines the brightest on stage and you just can't help but fall for him. You always disguise yourself, not wanting to divert the attention of the troupe to you when you go to Mankai plays. You always leave a gift for Sakuya on the closing night

- He can't believe he got a fan, on his very first play nonetheless! He keeps all of your gifts, along with the fan letter you include because it motivates him. He really wants to know who you are and thank you personally for your endless support

- One day, he saw Kazunari and Taichi watching an interview of an upcoming popular idol group in the living room. It was your group. It was showing a segment of your group doing a punishment mini-game. You are scribbling an answer on your paper and show it to the screen with a charming giggles

- That's when Sakuya almost yelped in surprise. He recognizes that hand-writing. The curve and how you put decorations around it. He felt like Kazunari and Taichi can hear his heartbeat, since the two of them looking at him with concern

- He excuses himself to his bedroom to do his homework, now feeling bashful knowing someone like you would be a fan of his

- He is now curious about you. He found your instablam and almost shrieked when he saw you holding one of the gift that is now in his possession. The comments flooded with who is that gift for or from

- He is confident that it is you the one who's been supporting him. He had the urge to thank you face by face

- So on closing night, he decided to sneakily hide and wait for you to drop your gift on the front table people usually put their gift. Each table labeled with the actors that are playing tonight

- It's almost time for the plays to begin and he almost gives up and goes back to backstage when someone with a hoodie and sunglasses arrives and drops a gift on the table with 'Sakuma Sakuya' labeled on it. He recognizes the cover letter you always use and finally realize it is really you behind those sunglasses, confirming his suspicion

- "S-She is so pretty!"

- Little did he realize, he said that out loud and not just in his thought. Surprising both you and Sakuya himself. He apologizes for creeping on you and explaining himself

- You were embarrassed that he knows who you are. But he is genuinely thanking you for your support and would like to know you better. And with that usual bright smile of his, you felt like you are falling for him

Masumi

- It is a total surprise for the Spring Troupe to hear Masumi listening to cheery idol songs. Is it something the Director likes? No, they know Izumi is not into that type of music

- He even starts hanging some posters of a certain girl that appeared to be an idol, on his bedside. Tsuzuru is kinda scared to see this change

- They also notice that he acts differently. He's less cold than he usually is. And most importantly, he didn't cling to Izumi like he usually does. And Izumi seems to be more close and more sister-like towards him. Leaving the entire company baffled. Did they miss a note somewhere?

- So the entire Spring Troupe decided to investigate and follow their fellow dark-haired friend around for some days

- And that's how they all ended up at an underground idol concert. Citron describing what's an underground idol so detailed to Sakuya is quite a bizarre sight

- "Can't believe this is what puberty does to oneself."

- "Itaru-san, now is not the time to joke around!"

- Then that's when they saw Masumi. With a girl that was just on the stage before. Dressed in cute bright colors. He looks so happy, chatting with you. And so does you

- And with that, Spring Troupe silently agrees to help Masumi and you to be with each other. In a healthier way. Which, Masumi accept, surprising them

- They helped him prepare himself for a date with you. Where the date should be. How he should confess his feelings. All of that cutesy stuff

- It took the entire Spring Troupe and a long tiring explanation from Tsuzuru to stop Masumi to get a wedding ring to give to you. With the help of Tsumugi, they get him a bouquet of flowers that Masumi can give to you. Yuki even helped Masumi dressed up

- Sakuya and Citron cheered and wish him good luck, Tsuzuru gave him a soft pat on his back, while Itaru and Chikage just gave a small thumbs up for their friend

- And there goes Masumi, going on a date

- You were flattered to receive the flowers from him and put them on a vase before you two went onto your date

- He brings you to a zoo. It was fun walking around, looking at animals while holding each other's hands. When it's the closing hour, he confesses how he felt towards you, with his face slightly flushed

- When he came back home, the Spring Troupe didn't need to ask him how the date was. It was answered clearly with his bright smile plastered on his face

Tsuzuru

- He met you when he was doing his part-time job as a barista. It was an embarrassing first impression. From Tsuzuru's point of view, that is

- You walk in to order something to drink while you wait for your manager to pick you up. But when your gaze met each other, he just stood still. In a daze. Staring at you. He was mesmerized by how beautiful you are. He finally snapped from his daydream when you waved your hand in front of him. He profusely apologizes with a red face and asked for your order again

- You're amused by his demeanor, you found him cute. So that's how you ended up being a regular on this cafe, just to met him

- Tsuzuru felt like he's about to combust when one day you casually introduce yourself and ask for his name

- When your manager taps your shoulder to go, you leave a piece of paper for him. Tsuzuru felt like he can die in peace when he realized you gave him your LIME ID

- He was about to message you when he's back at the dorm, until his eyes landed on a magazine, almost choked on his own spit when he saw YOU with some girls in a cute dress. "Sensational Idol Group This Year!" imprinted largely on the cover. He felt a bit intimidated. What if he's intruding on you while you're busy? But a part of him really wants to talk to you and want to know you. He realizes it was love at first sight for him

- He already typed something on his screen. All he needs to do is click the 'send' button. He's been staring at it for half an hour. Then someone surprised him, making him drop his phone. To say that he is in absolute horror when he realized the message was delivered was an understatement

- When you see that you are typing back to him, he closed his app. Heart beating fast. And then his phone vibrates. He cautiously opens his phone, to see a reply from you. He immediately replies

- You two text almost every day. Getting to know each other, what he does for a living, telling what happened at your work, his brothers... The topics keep flowing naturally. When he told you that he found out you are an idol is so funny to you

- You asked him if he wants to go on a date with you. You're a bit concerned if you were a bit too straightforward because he didn't reply for almost an hour. He finally replied with a simple 'sure'. The truth is he is freaking out with joy on the other side

- It was a nice date. You two watched a movie and ate lunch at a cozy desolate restaurant. He insists on escorting you back home

- You thanked him for today. When you're about to enter your home, he finally musters up his courage and confesses his feelings to you. You turn yourself back to him with a grin, and happily reciprocate his feeling

Citron

- It's kinda a funny accident that you and Citron ended up dating each other

- You got a day off and your manager let you do whatever you want to do, so you decided to take a stroll. That's when you saw a guy doing a... street act? He's reciting a line while doing wonky dance moves, managing to grab people's attention on the street. You finally recognize the dance. You saw it every day, your fans made that specific dance just for you after all

- You did not realize that people were starting to notice you there. An excited scream from an audience alerting everyone around you, and now all attention is on you

- You awkwardly smile at them, and they are now surrounding you. Asking for an autograph, a selfie, or even a handshake

- You felt a hand grab you, and it guides you out of the crowds. You now ended up in a secluded alley. It's the guy that was dancing just now. He doesn't look Japanese, so when he finally asks if you are okay in Japanese, you are relieved. You tell him you're okay and thanked him for helping you out from the situation

- He realized he hasn't introduced himself properly. Citron is his name. He seems like a nice person, so you decided to introduce him with your real identity. You're not surprised that he recognizes your name

- He then starts cheerfully rambling about someone in his theatre company who is quite popular like you, and... start advertising? You kinda didn't get what he said with his sloppy Japanese, but it's endearing to see how passionate he is talking about his theatre company

- He offered you a spare ticket to watch his upcoming plays, and before you could decline his kind gesture, he's already gone. Leaving you with a ticket in hand. You stared at the ticket with Mankai Company imprinted on it. It's not that far from here and you have a holiday on that day. So you why not?

- You came and watched the play. Now with proper disguise, not wanting to repeat the same mistake twice. You are pleasantly surprised watching how different he look on stage, and how different he sound

- When the show ends, he approaches you, complimenting him and thanking him for giving you a free ticket. He's a nice company to be with, so when he invites you to join the closing night party, you agree to it

- When you show up to the Mankai dormitory, everyone is so welcoming to you, some can't believe that you know Citron of all people. You and Citron become really close after that

- You always come to his plays and he always comes to your shows, sometimes with someone from Mankai. Or even the entire company

- One day he gave you a box of dates*. On valentine's day. You thought he mistook it as chocolate, but with a serious expression, he then explains to you that it is a tradition from his country to give these to someone you love. You are flustered to hear his... confession. But you accept it gladly

Itaru

- Before you two were dating, he was your number one fan. All of your merch? He has an altar full of it. Your live shows? He never misses one. Your appearance in an obscure rhythm game? You bet he will whale his way to get that exclusive card of your character just to be able to hear your voice lines of "Welcome home, Producer!"

- "Chigasaki, did you sleep...?"

- "No, and I refuse to do so until I get her card. Now leave, I'm busy here."

- "But today is Monday."

- "...Can you tell the boss that I'm si--" "No."

- The fact that you two ended up dating each other is a dream come true for Itaru. You are as angelic as your idol persona appears to be. Sure, you have a side you never show as an idol, but that shows you are just a human like him. And that just make him love you even more

- You two met through work. Itaru's company was doing a promotional campaign and he was the one assigned to be the head of the project. He was irritated because it will affect his gaming time and his time fanboying over you

- But when you show up at the meeting to discuss the promotional campaign, he almost screams. The idol that he adores so much is in front of him! In a casual dress and polite smile threw to him

- It took so much for him to stay in his business persona. He saw you on your live shows. But to be able to sit in front of you? God. You are so beautiful up close, he can't help it. It is a miracle that he stayed in character the whole meeting. When he's back to the dorm, he gushes himself to Banri, Sakuya, and Citron that are happened to be in the living room

- "Ooh! You met a gravure* idol?"

- "The hell you know gravure from? She's from an idol group. Not gravure."

- "...what's gravu--" "I will stop you right there, Sakuya."

- You were charmed with his princely persona. You two ended up getting close with each other and even staying in contact after the promotional campaign is over. He asked you to a fancy dinner one day, you happily accepted. He dressed up so nicely, you can't help but stare at him the whole night. At the end of the date, he confesses to you about his feeling, and you accept his feeling

- When you find his secret side, you find it really adorable, while he got extremely flustered. He's trying his best to explain why he has an altar filled with your merch, but you just hush him down, telling him that you are flattered that you are his oshi*. You even tell him that he0 can secretly be on backstage on your next lie show. Knowing you don't mind this side of him, he took a mental note that you are the one for him

- He is still your number one fan, even after you two date each other. He sometimes sent you a fan cam of you making weird faces that he found on the internet and jokingly said "this u?"

Chikage

- It is a mystery how you two ended up dating each other. Whenever someone asks Chikage about it, no one can tell if he's telling the truth or his usual lie

- "Ah, yeah. We met each other when my company was using her group for promotional purposes."

- "Hold on Senpai, our company never did a promotional campaign...?"

- When people from Mankai asked you how you two met, you laughed and said, "He kidnapped me."

- Perhaps Chikage's habit of lying rubbing onto you. The highschooler of Mankai is playing detective and trying to solve this mystery. Will they find out the truth? Who knows

- He is not fond of showing his private life, which benefits both of you, considering both of your work. It will be a huge scandal if people found you are in a relationship. With that, Chikage takes extra steps and makes sure to erase traces of any kind of hint that you are in a relationship. Theory? Gossip? No one able to see it because it mysteriously disappears as soon as it touches the interweb

- He has zero interest in idols, and found the culture around it weird, but he is still supportive of you being one

- "Oh! I'm surprised you have this magazine! There's my interview in it!"

- He got his way to make sure you are safe when you are doing meet and greet. Idol fans, especially female idols can be extreme at times, and he will not allow you to get hurt

- When you come back from your tour, you always bring Chikage local spices that you got from your tour. It's a tradition at this point

- "I found a lot of spices in Korea!"

- "Nice. Did you get anything special from there?"

- "Yup! I got this thing from a fan! Apparently, it's really popular because of how spicy it is! It's uhhh... Samyang*? We can try it together!"

- You ended up crying yourself out from how spicy the instant noodle is. You curse on him when you saw him casually put more spice in it

- From an outside perspective, Chikage seems to be okay with you often going on tour and the two of you can't spend a lot of time together. Chikage himself often have a business trip so he respects your dedication

- But when he starts missing you, he always tries to busy himself with work. Even if it's mundane stuff like hanging out with the Spice Club more or the Spring Troupe. Which, only Hisoka notices

- "I know you are thinking about her. Just go call her if you miss her, April."

- "I'll give you marshmallow to shut you up."

Pardon the delay, here’s a rather dramatic confession from this poet! 🤧

Homare 🎭

Soft is your whole soul,

in moonshine- hence let us meet,

my chest will be free!

You stared at the scrawled cursive in your hand, trying to figure out what the heck any of it was even supposed to mean. It was a haiku. From Homare? It had to be from Homare, right? There’s no one else who would do this.

Trying to recall every conversation you’ve ever had with him and his general mannerisms, you came to the conclusion that he wanted to speak with you and that it was important. What could be so urgent that he had to tell you so close to midnight?

You decided not to think too hard about Homare’s questionable motivations and swiftly put on a coat. He should be around here somewhere, he slipped the poem through your door after all.

Almost as soon as you stepped out the door, a cough was heard to your left. “It seems that you’ve finally decided to grace me with your supportive vision! An intelligent decision~”

“Yes, well, I read your... message so I thought it would be best to come find you.” You explained, a bit tiredly. His voice was as loud as it was refreshing but you still would rather be inside a warm bed instead of the standing in the cold outdoors.

“Of course, of course, my dear! My memorandum to you contains the subtle context of what I needed to desperately discuss with you after all.” Homare bragged, placing his hand dramatically against his chest.

“It did?” You said more than you actually asked.

“I do not blame you for not understanding, such is the woe of a non-genius.” He tittered. Homare cleared his throat and finally looked you in the eye, his face changing into a more serious expression.

It made you nervous.

“However, I’ve recently have been at a lost for words, speaking wise. Especially when it comes to my own feelings about you.” He began. Feelings? About you?

“Literary arts have always been my strong suit, I pride myself on the amount of inspiration I carry with me. That all seems to vanish completely when I try expressing around you, truthfully I’ve been... shying away.” Homare considered, speaking like he was admitting this much to himself as well to you.

“S-Shying- wait, is this- are you confess-?” You stuttered, your cheeks significantly warmer. You tried in vain to rationalize what he was talking about.

“So!” He interrupted. “After careful consideration, I’ve to decided to let my actions speak, in the romantic sense!” Homare chuckled slightly, taking a step closer, neatly pressing you against a wall. His gloved hand brushed over your neck, making you shiver for multiple reasons. He took your chin with his thumb.

“... Forgive me for not having a rose.” Homare murmured. His reddish eyes were glinting, they were just as beautiful as any flower. The moonlight framed his face, surpisingly handsome to most.

Your eyelids shut as soon as his mouth met yours softly, a true gentleman as always. Homare made a humming sound in his throat. The noise reminded you of what kind of weirdness spilled from those lips on a daily basis.

And yet, you never minded, and you never will.

My curse was lifted,

the mouth of our hearts connect,

and thus I succeed!

Masumi Usui taking care of a sick S/O HCS

A/N: everything i write i self indulgent but this is a whole new levelndjdnd ^^ i was sick when i wrote this but i was also like delirious so it didn’t make sense but i managed to edit it so ?? here it is ; remeber that above being human i am a masumi usui stan and that’s final❕

- When he first learns you’re sick his world stops for a second, his mind jumps to the worst case scenarios and he’s already acting like you’re dead.

- Izumi needs to help him snap out of it and when he finally does - he’s on his way with soup, drinks, medicine, food you like, basically everything. Depending on where you live, if it’s close he’ll just run and if it’s not he will force any of the members with a driving license of any kind to take him to your place.

- He’ll burst through your door all sweaty and worried, violet eyes shot open wide and you can see the way his chest rises and falls from all the running around town trying to get you everything.

- Masumi simply doesn’t care if it’s contagious or not, he will be close to you until you’re 100% better and he won’t take no for an answer. He’s willing to sit on the floor if it means being next to you and making sure you’re alright, no one - not even Izumi - is peeling this man away from you.

- If you so much as cringe at the taste of the medicine he’s making up the most complex plan ever to make sure the taste isn’t as noticeable.

- “Okay, hold your nose tight and chug it,” he explains as the pill fizzles out in the cup of water, “I have your favorite drink here, once you’re done take a big sip and I’ll give you some of those sweets you like, okay?”

- He can’t force himself to feed you any medicine. He gets so sad seeing you not enjoy something, he might even call the company and ask why it tastes so bad. It’s embarrassing, please stop him.

- Suddenly, he’s got a medical degree and he’s going on rants about how important it is you eat healthy foods and drink water, he will not let you leave your bed unless you gotta use the bathroom.

- Masumi can’t help but sometimes google your symptoms and he’ll probably stumble upon something saying you’ve got some never-before seen eye infection that will eat your brain or something and panic until he realizes it’s from an Onion article.

- He’s so worried it’s kind of scary, he’s never had anyone take care of him while he was sick so he’s not sure what’s too much or not. Might call Omi every few hours to make sure he’s not actually killing you.

- On a positive note, he’s spending however long it is you’re sick at your place. He will not move an inch, your parents will have to give up and let him take care of you because he needs to make sure you’re doing all right.

- The type to fall asleep holding your hand, he’s cradling it against his cheek and the grip is so soft you can’t bring yourself to move an inch.

- If you ask, he will lend you a shirt so you can use it while in bed (you will be bedridden even if it’s not that bad, he won’t let you risk getting sick again or not getting better as soon as possible).

- Usui is definitely not the best cook but he’s not bad either, he’s memorized your favorites so be ready to eat that and only that while sick.

- Related to the point above, he will spoon feed you. He doesn’t want you using too much strength on silly things he can do for you; he’ll take this chance and baby you to hell.

- It can be kind of annoying but this is how he expresses his concern, he’s overly affectionate and is not above turning into an annoying little shit when he thinks is right.

- It doesn’t matter if what you have is or isn’t contagious, after a while he will insist on cuddling you and there’s nothing you can do about it.

- When your head starts to hurt or you’re in too much pain he gets so worried, he’ll run to get your parents because he physically cannot see you be sick. It hurts him so much, if he could he’d get sick himself ten fold just so you didn’t have to. He’s hopeless, I swear.

- He ends up spending so much time with you, he probably ends up sick and you take care of him in return.

- Oh boy, that’s another story^
