The Spinjitzu family should be actual royalty and I will not be taking criticism on that. Like I’m talking they have the power to veto any government decision in all of Ninjago. Garmadon and Wu don��t get involved with politics that often since their prefer to leave it up to the mortals.

Lloyd doesn’t know about it. Like at all. He finds out one morning at breakfast because he was sitting and thinking to hard about his heritage.

Lloyd: Grandpa is literally the guy who created Ninjago.

Wu: Yes.

Lloyd: So like, shouldn’t we have more power then? Like why aren’t we royalty or something.

Wu, deadpan: Lloyd, we are royalty.

Lloyd: WHAT

Arin is gonna be so important to Lloyd's character development and I'm obsessing over it. The echoes of Morro and Wu. Lloyd who's been let down by his elders time and time again but never loses faith in them; Arin who is let down once and decides they do not deserve his faith. They're both right. They're both wrong. They're going to be enemies. They're already family. Lloyd will learn from someone young and impatient with the past that he needs to be his own person, not just a vessel for a legacy. Arin will learn what it's like to still love and value the legacy of those who've failed you. They will wrestle with the convictions of that innate and pure sense of goodness they both have inside them, and the ugly reality of being human. And writers willing, they will heal. But before then they are going to hurt themselves and each other. And I'm going to hate it, but it's going to be so good.

Something i realised about the main 4 ninja’s true potential:

I saw a post here a day or two ago talking about the ninja’s true potentials.

It was specifically talking about how Kai achieved his by saving Lloyd, some kid he didn’t really know, compared to how the others saved people they knew, literally just proving to us again why Kai and Lloyd are the sibling duo (plus Nya. We love Nya.)

But it made me realise something about each of their true potentials.

Each of the ninja saved someone they knew, but not someone they were close to yet.

Cole saved his dad who he was in no way close to at the time due to their bad communication issues. It took Cole acknowledging that his dad wasn’t as bad as he believed to push him to unlock his true potential.

Zane saved the other ninja, who he wasn’t as close to at the time. Zane had just realised that he was a nindroid, and very obviously believed that it would cause a bigger drift between him and the others when added to their differing personalities. It took Zane realising the ninja would never hate him for who he is to push him into saving them.

Jay had to save Nya, who he wasn’t close to at the time either. They both acknowledged they had something between them, but Jay didn’t know how to handle it all and believed that to win Nya over he had to pretend to be someone else. Nya had to tell Jay to his face that she didn’t want some mask he wore, but him. That was the push Jay needed to unlock his.

Kai had to save Lloyd, a kid he didn’t like but reflected who he used to be too well. It took one look at Lloyd for Kai to save him and unlock his.

Each of the ninja saved someone they knew, but not someone they were close to, to unlock their true potentials. These people later became some of the most important people in each of their lives, knowing them inside and out better than anyone else.

It were these people who, despite not knowing the ninja too well at the time, that ended up teaching them each how to accept who they are, flaws and all. That Cole didn’t need to lie about who he is, that Zane didn’t need to be ashamed of what he is, that Jay didn’t need to hide who is under a mask, and that Kai didn’t need to change what he was.

Those people became important rocks in each of their lives. The ninja would not be who they are today if they didn’t save those people at the moment.

Bahsgah i don’t think i shared it right so let me summarise: the ninja had to unlock their true potentials by acknowledging and accepting who they are, and the only reason they were able to do that was by fixing the bonds in barely made relationships with people they know and wanted to be close to.

Dragons Rising really is the best sequel series for diehard Lloyd enjoyers, cause, yes, we acknowledge that he has panic attacks, crappy mental health, and also he's the grandson of God, but you know what really gets me? Lloyd is tired.

He's plagued with migraines (the visions are also migraines don't @ me), he's bemoaning about never getting a good nights sleep, hes struggling so hard to be a good leader and clearly doesn't have all the answers, and he's just some 20yo who's been cursed with saving the world since he was younger than his own students.

That's the realest way Lloyd could've ever been written in a future-series. It's what he is. But he's not angry (usually), he's not telling everyone to deal with it themselves, and he's not giving up. I love when Lloyd has finally had enough, but the real, genuine Lloyd? He'd never stop caring. He cares so much it'd kill him. He's tired and by god does he refuse to quit. I love that kid. Please get him a warm blanket

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.
