4 years and 1460 posters later, I would like to say THANK YOU to every single one of you for the constant and amazing support and participation. I wouldn't have been able to do this project without you. I'm sad to say goodbye but I am honored to have met all the incredible people digitally and in real life. YOU and your stories made this project beautiful and real. I will miss reading your stories and interpreting them. I will miss all of this. But what I know for sure is that this project changed my life and made me a better person. All thanks to you! 💛 . Today I've made two posters for the story below.. it's just so hard to say goodbye. . Day 1460 — Hers @ersatz_nina - "This is for Alex, who always creates and inspires. In 2013 she was living in my NY apartment while I spent a year in LA and filled it with plants. During this time she started a project that turned out to be a poster a day. Today is the last day of its 4 year run and I am as ever proud of you."

Day 1457 — Hers @emlysmms - "...As a young woman at the start of her career in the designer world, you have been an incredible source of inspiration - the light, color, aesthetics that you share with the world are so appreciated. I would love to challenge you to design a poster that illustrates what it means to you to be (whether you know it or not) a woman who is, in my opinion, a leader in design and a well of inspiration."

Day 1454 — Hers Anonymous - "My little sister is an miracle. We're 18 years apart and it came as a shocked to all of us when my mother found out she was pregnant. It didn't seem like a possibility for her and my parents have been trying to have another child right after I was born. It just never happened, until 18 years later. Nesa is the greatest addition to our family. She brings sunshine and laughter to our house each and every day. My favorite part is to watch her draw. It went from scribbles and undefinable lines to actual motifs, mostly of animals. I'm so grateful to have Nesa in my life (in our life). In this world."

Day 1452 — Hers @ministeredespetiteschoses - "It's a story of a women who didn't have enough words to express her vision of the world. She was born in Normandie, just after the second world war. She was the seven child of a big farmer family. Born prematurely at seven months, her parents put her in a shoes box on top a cotton layers, next to the fireplace. She made it for more than 78 years now. I do not really know her youth and her adolescence. I know she fall in love with a great man. Lucien, caravans builder, poet, and sculptor. A good man. But bizarrely the stories are still being replicated. And this man decided to go live alone in a forest cabin, like her father. With her two girls, she had to left their fields of happiness and find a new home. Some people say that before being a mother she always preferred to be a woman. People speak for her a lot, but she floats, metamorphoses herself in silence, free from judgment, she dances. Her dream was always to take care of a baby ouistiti, one of the smallest monkeys in the world. As she could hug him, talk to him, and care him in her pocket, like man try to do with her maybe.
She always made me think of a bird, a tiny singing little bird. She is one of the strongest mind i know, with in a very fragile body. She is the strength and the humility, the confidence and the fear. Today she is starting the learn how to write. People often think she's crazy, I just think she's alive. It is easier to die blind than to live who we are. She learnt me how to be and think simple, how to laugh, and how to let others figurate out for yourself when you're already swimming in the fire."

Day 1451 — Hers @nessapalacio - "My mother came from Colombia when she was 22. Before I was born I found out that my parents lived in an attic when they first came to this country, and my mother worked in housekeeping. She cleaned many many homes for over a decade until finally she decided to go to school to learn English and become a nurse. I remember when I couldn't fall asleep as a young girl I knew I could find my mom studying at 2am in her closet. She used the ironing board as a desk. When I was 6 my mom couldn't find a babysitter to watch me while she cleaned a house. I remember the homeowner asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My response, very proudly was to be like my mom and be a "cleaning lady". My mom then took me and said "no! vas a ser mucho mas, don't ever repeat that!" She had said that I would do much more. Now, 15 years later my mother has worked as a Respiratory Therapist for over 10yrs and I am a young Industrial Designer."

Day 1450 — Hers Anonymous - "I live with my boyfriend now, and it's the greatest feeling ever. But I must admit that I miss my old roommate and best friend Lori at times. Living with her was the most fun and we made ourselves a happy place. I now keep realizing that I am an adult living with the man I love and missing my girlfriend and the "non-adult" times. Loris fuel is two avocados a day."

Day 1449 — Hers Anonymous - "My mom taught us a lot. She is obsessed with cleanliness and order. That might sound like a hard childhood for me and my brother but it was quite the opposite. Because of her I've learned that order in cleanliness doesn't necessarily mean not owning a lot of things, it means knowing the things you own and creating a system for them. If you do that, you can have a clean home as well as a lot of things."

Day 1448 — Hers Danica Patrick - "I was very against pink and purple when I was young, because they were girls' colors. But that was only because I didn't want people to write me off for what I can do. When I got into my 20s, I decided that was stupid."

Day 1447 — Hers @mariad_ - "Lately I've been thinking a lot about the emotional labor that women tend to take on in relationships; both in romantic and non-romantic ones. So often it goes unacknowledged and unreciprocated. I want to focus on not giving away emotional labor so freely, and thanking the women in my life for all that they do."

Day 1444 — Hers @blackwhiteandblondie - "My Mother - Karen Miles My mother is 51 years old, she's an Aquarius, she is a strawberry blonde (most of the time), she's a registered nurse, she's lives with bipolar depression, she's had 4 children (one she gave up for adoption, one she wasn't ready to selfless for, and my sister and I). She created and raised two mixed children, myself and my sister. She is white, my father is black, and most of my family was/is racist. My father cheated on her. She left him and started our life in Texas. Then my life as I knew it really started. I always thought she was superwoman, able to do everything without me never seeing the tricks of her trade. But as I got older, I slowly realized she wasn't super. She was never the perfect mother, she was better than that: she was human. She has her flaws. She didn't always hang with the best people. She didn't always do the right thing. But what she did do, was love us. It was her love and her imperfections that showed me that our imperfections make us perfect. Because of her my sister and I always had dinner on the table. Because of her I am able to live out my dreams. Because of her I've seen the beauty and the pain of life. I love you mom, and everything you are."
