Vision looked like processing the information, unsure of what Tony could do for him, given that he made no request recently. "Oh." He finally reacted and smiled. "I don't think I have much that could apply to your skills Tony but I'll be glad to walk with you." Vision had no reason to refuse, on the contrary, any social interaction was always welcomed. He forfeited his chess match and stopped his reading activity only to be polite. Multitasking wasn't something appreciated during a conversation, or at least, it was what some studies were telling.
"I was actually wondering if I could do something for you. " Tony replied and made himself comfortable. He smiled at Vision. Was he really thinking of him as still only a creation. "I was wondering if you would be up to it, to go for a walk and good conversation along the river, even maybe do some sight seeing who knows. " The genius proposed.

Purple skin hidden under casual clothes, Vision didn't seem to attract too much attention. He arrived right on time and let her meet his android eyes before finally putting down his hood, his appearance shifting instantly to a human one with his movement. "It didn't." Vision politely replied. "It was only difficult to ignore it." Vision was deleting a stupidly high amount of spam and malware at the minute, every day, every minute. Only social interaction was motivating him not to split too much of his attention, to turn on the autopilot for the tech part of him. "However I'm not sure I understand the meaning of this invitation Miss Schmidt " He confessed, looking almost sorry.

Things were coming along rather swimmingly, if you asked Sin. Yelena was making progress with the Barton girl which was going to prove rather useful later. But she had another idea that was going to require a rather delicate, properly executed plan. Which was why she sent a well-written invitation for Vision to meet her in the American Museum of Natural History. She stood in the entrance, a pair of tickets in her hand as she waited for Vision to arrive - and he did. "I'm glad to see my invitation went through your mail security."

Members of the Avengers, Vision continues with missions under Natasha's jurisdiction.
Worried about Wanda's well-being, Vision doesn't admit that he would love to see her more often.
TAKEN - CLEO
RACE – Android
POWER /ABILITY – Density Manipulation, Energy Blasts, Synthetic Body, Super Genius Intellect
AGE: 7
OCCUPATION – Protector of Life
“We have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don’t think I’d know if I were one. I’m not what you are and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me, but we need to go.”
Once upon a time
Vision is a powerful android born by the result of the synthetic Vibranium body created by Ultron and Helen Cho, and programmed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner using JARVIS based codes and activated by the mind stone. His birth resulted in a hostile approach towards Thor. However as the confusion passed, he made the decision to fight for humanity and against Ultron. While he did not want to kill his “older brother” , it must be done. Vision showed early on the team that he was no child of Ultron, nor Ultron himself nor JARVIS, but just was. (Which would be gold for any philosopher out there). Trust was forced upon the Avengers when Vision lifted Mjölnir, therefore proving himself worthy of it and of the task ahead.
He joined forces with Thor and Iron Man to unleash beams of lightening, repulsor blasts and Mind Stone blast to melt Ultron’s shell away before he managed to escape. He then joined War Machine to assist, and finally as Iron Man and Thor destroyed the city, he flew to get Wanda out of danger. He is the one who killed Ultron for good.
Vision values life and humans. Remaining on Earth, he has been learning quite a lot about them, their potential, their imagination. He is happy to serve alongside them. Appearing as a thoughtful being with manners similar to JARVIS he has been often called JARVIS by many who knew the AI. It amuses him highly. The android has mostly connected to Thor and has agreed to keep both eyes open on the safety of Earth at Thor’s demand. He is no fool, the gem powering him is also an object of many cravings. For now he resides at the manor, and observes.
Vision was incredibly active in the recovery of the missing people in Zemo’s care, especially since Wanda had been one of them. He was part of the team to help retrieve her, although it seemed that Wanda had most of it under control. Since then he spent more time with her, ensuring nothing else would happen to her since he failed to protect her the first time. He couldn’t go to Lagos since he was up in space helping to build Peak and despite the fact Wanda didn’t sign, Vision did sign the SHPA, believing it was only logical to do so.

Despite the years, despite all those hours Vision took to study humanity, humans still felt soo odd. It felt like he was missing something, something important that books and videos weren't able to truly explain. Hopefully, Vision wasn't experiencing any frustration from it, he stayed optimistic and believed that one day he will finally fully understand it. Reading and mentally playing chess with a Russian man online, Vision didn't expect any visit and felt pleasantly surprised by this familiar face, smiling at him after he opened his door. "Hi Tony." He quickly thought about all the reasons able to make Tony come and added. "Is there anything I can do?"

"It is. Fine woodwork is usually used for Japanese puzzles, however, this one seemed to miss a piece of wood, making its proper resolution impossible. See this corner." He gently pointed to one side of the puzzle. "One part is gone."
a-persevering-vision:
“I’m sorry, but this is mathematically… incorrect.”
“Is it? It was something a patient left with me. I had assumed it was some sort of puzzle, but I hadn’t considered looking at it in terms of mathematics. It’s been a decent way to pass the time, but I imagine being able to properly solve it will be a bit more enjoyable.”

Vision seemed to lose himself in his inner thoughts, thinking about what Tony just told him, what it could mean, and the infinite possibilities of it. "Interesting." He concluded after a moment, smiling politely at Tony. "It feels like mathematics has many more common points with philosophy than what we could first believe. You said you used those theorems to create IAs. Do you still want to create new ones?"
“It’s not actually, Its the Fatal flaw of mathematics… the true statements that cannot be proven, the black hole of maths. See what is undecidable is Life … more specifically the game of life. John Conway’s shows it quite well… and is a fantastic parallel to the halting problem. , that is how I managed to create the IAs…some collapsed never to really develop , others died out, some went on a loop or stabilized , and others just kept growing…I cannot predict the outcome of what I set as input and should you correct the math, it would just make it an even bigger undecidable infinity than the one before. Real numbers and natural numbers”

If Vision smiled back at the comment, he took the time to weigh the hammer. "Do you have any other ones lighter?"

Vision looked a bit confused and looked back at the drawing, processing. He didn’t question it and put back the picture in his pocket before looking at the proposition. “It seems like a good idea, may I?” He asked about the hammer.
🗡️
Trevor nodded before holding out the item for him to take. “If you be worthy, of course,” Trevor joked as he held it out.

Trevor looked at the picture and laughed a little to himself. “You don’t know super heroes very well, do you, buddy? That’s not Iron Man. Too much purple. Honestly, that looks like Vision and Thor.” He moved over to one of his shelves and picked up one of his fake Mjolnirs. “If she’s a Thor and Vision fan, I would send her Mjolnir and a gold cape along with a couple comics of the both of them.”

Trevor chuckled as he waved at the man to follow him. “Well, if she loves heroes, then comics are always a good place to start. Do you know who her favorite hero or group of heroes are?”
"I believe she likes the Avengers." Vision easily guessed as he followed the man. "She drew Iron man and..." He actually took the drawing from one of his pockets, and carefully unfolded it. "... who do you think this... is?"
#trevor01#it's not iron man#it's vision but you know he's a cutie#it's hard to believe he could be the hero of someone#the other one could be anybody#also paul bettany gifs are impossible to find

Christmas was still one of the few things that Vision didn't manage to fully understand, not that he didn't try. So when he got this letter from a kid from Alabama who wrote to the Avengers complex, he thought maybe, just maybe it was a good idea to reply with a gift. Hiding his purple skin and wearing some casual clothes, Vision still looked like a lost puppy in the store. "Oh. Hum... I'm looking for a gift for a seven years old kid who... well... loves her dog and heroes." He explained a bit awkwardly, not knowing much about this child.
"Were you looking for anything in particular or just browsing?" Trevor asked as he went to check on the lone customer in his store.

“Don’t tell Tony that. He might take it personally.”
-
“Of course.” Vision smiled, sharing a bit of mischief before asking. “How is he doing by the way? I understood that you two were...in a relationship. How, how are you handling the long distance?”

Summer sighed and shook his head. “Sorry, Vision. Haven’t heard a word from her. But if I see her, I’ll let her know you’re looking for her. Everything okay between the two of you?”
-
So it was a new dead end. “I don’t think it would be necessary.” He replied with a polite smile. “I already told her I was a bit worried, I simply hope she is fine. But to reply to your question, I’m not sure actually. I read that silence is not always a good thing nor a bad one. I do not wish to be too insistent, yet I suppose showing that I still care and that I’m still concerned is... well... not a bad thing in a relationship, is it?”

Vision’s mind had always astounded Bruce. Yes, he knew that much of his mind came from the base program of JARVIS and the mind stone, but even still, Vision was an AI of the most advanced kind. There was no doubt that he was the pinnacle of technology with how both brilliant and human he really was. So as the equation changed on the screen he slowly removed his glasses as he realized that indeed, Vision was right, and the equation fixed almost masterfully. “Well I’ll be,” he muttered as he studied the equation, “I should have learned by now to never second guess you.”
-
Vision shared a soft smile, he never wished to brag about the knowledge he could have, he was only glad he could help. “But please, continue to do so. I believe your mind is way more inventive than mine.”

“Be my guest.”

Without moving, Vision connected himself to Bruce’s computers and quickly changed the equation, numbers becoming new ones, the formula being rectified. A few seconds later, when Vision was done, he simply blinked and turned his attention to Bruce. “Is that better?”

Bruce’s brow furrowed as he examined the equation once again. “No…no, I just checked the calculations. It should be correct.”

“I assure you it’s not. May I?”
