V's Guide to Identity Grounding Beads
Alright I made these for some college mindfullness event but honestly found a good purpose for them for headmates who get blurry too easily, all you need is 10 beads and some string. Doesn't matter what kinda beads, just don't make it a bracelet or you'll forget about it lol.
I made mine with my in-sys boyfriend, the black is from him and the one's between are from me. But yeah so you don't lose your damn beads, tie a bead at both ends of the strings.
Carry this around with you in your pocket, and whenever you feel your sense of self jack up, look at the 10 beads and use these prompts for them, just use your finger to push them up as you list the items from the question.
What 10 things do you like?
What 10 things do you dislike?
What 10 things make you you?
What are 10 memories you made and identify with?

You can do system stuff offline too! Here are some ideas.
Try a system journal / notebook. You can have an introduction page for the journal (what it's for, what you want to get from it, goals, rules/guidelines), an introduction page for each headmate, traditional journal entries, collages, art, doodles, or searching for 'journal ideas/prompts' for page ideas.
Make something physical for each headmate like a bracelet, ring, hat, or keychain. This can help with feeling real / grounding, communication, and reminding yourself that even when they are quiet they are still there!
Make a system scrapbook. Trying to capture photographs of when different headmates are fronting or photographs from days which were important to the system. The appointment cards from therapy, cutouts from handouts, or quotes from sessions can be something bittersweet to slap in there.
A whiteboard, big calendars / calendar notes, a bulletin board, or such can be helpful to put in your room. Writing down important dates and events that have happened can help with time weirdness.

Things to do with your system offline (part two)!
Make a headspace if you don't have one [or further develop it]. There are many guides and tips out there.
Meditate! There are a lot of reasons people mediate, so I won't list them all here but it could help with communication (as you quiet some of that mind clutter) or entering/seeing headspace, for example. - Being able to clear your head is just... Incredible, would recommend.
Map your system. You can do this anyway you want, such as incorporating a collage or art, or you could do a simple spider graph (or multiple).
Make a mental health binder. Get a three ring binder, dividers, and sheet protectors (if desired). If you don't own a printer many libraries have printers available [certain amount of cents per sheet], print out your favourite coping strategies, quotes, advice, worksheets, and such things. If you search "mental health binder" or "mental health sheets" in Etsy you can find premade sheets available for purchase, or you could make your own in Canva.
Make a system timeline. From what caused your system to your system discovery, you can start anywhere you want. Include the most memorable or important moments in your journey as a system to where you are now (or go further and map out future goals).

we split a new guy last night.
I don’t like him, and I know that’s not a great attitude to hold toward someone who has to share my brain and hear my thoughts as much as I share his and hear his, but he’s just… kind of a dick so far. Time for that time-honoured tradition! Adding another name to the locked note in the notes app :’)

Hello world. Or something. I’m Ethan. Call me by he/him, rxt/rxts or !!/!!s. My role is my business.
I’m new, and I’m sure Ulysses or whoever won’t mind anyone dropping in with advice or whatever. I have no fucking clue what I’m doing here, or what the hell I’m supposed to expect from plurality. It’s confusing as all shit, man, and look, I got no clue why or how I formed, but I’m here now and going to eat pretzels about it.
I’m a dude. By which I mean demiboy/demigender. I swear more than the others, though I’m not some fucking sailor about it. My sexual orientation is your mother. What’s in my pants? Your mother’s hickeys.
Lemon Demon is pretty cool. Cabinet Man goes pretty fucking hard, I just wish I was a computer program, not an arcade machine. The other fuckers up in my grey matter have like, singlemindedly binged most of The X-Files, and because of whatever the fuck they have going on with that show, I have this half-memory of an episode where two people have their minds transplanted into the digital world as computer programs. Pretty fucking dope. Wish I was them honestly. Goals.
Guess I gotta wrap this shit up. Yeah, Ethan, he/rxt/!!, wish I was a computer program, lover of old tech, etc, signing out.

btw if you think "fakers" in plural communities are a legitimate pressing problem that needs to be fixed and is actively harming plural communities at large, i really think you should step back and find some perspective. coming from a collective with DID that has been fakeclaimed on many occasions for various reasons, we need you to ask yourself these questions:
(A) who are you accusing of being fakers? what characteristics are you looking for to determine if someone is faking? (B) do you know for a fact that they're faking, or are you just assuming they are because they don't act "plural enough" in your eyes? (C) is there anything similar between you and these (apparent, so-called) fakers that others might use against you? (for example, having too many introjects, having introjects of a particular type/source, having too large or too small of a system, having too much or too little communication between your sysmates, having too much or especially too little amnesia/dissociation (especially if you have a CDD), having certain comorbid mental illnesses (personality disorders, schizo-spec disorders, psychosis in general, etc), having or not having certain kinds of trauma (especially if your system is traumagenic in any way), etc) (D) do you think people theoretically faking plurality themselves are leading to people not believing plurality exists or believing its so rare, or do you think it's more likely that the pervasiveness of fakeclaiming others and choosing not to provide benefit of the doubt is what's leading to people dismissing plurality as something fake or too rare for them to ever be concerned with it?
and finally:
(E) do you think people who are actually faking plurality (who are most likely doing it to get attention or find a sense of community/friendship) will suddenly stop faking because you chose to be cruel to them, or could it be possible that it's more likely that they'll be more willing to listen and change if you're kind and respectful and offer compassion to any true struggles they might have?
