I've seen flowers fade
And society's decayed
That some people stayed
And some has gone
But we're still here
And life goes on
Now I have chosen to make a success
Of my life, and happiness - to live & bless
To smile & be happy
And love those around me
Despite the odds, and every trial
I've made up my mind to walk the mile

Hosting Locally or Internationally
Important considerations in choosing whether to host locally or internationally...
User Experience
Hosting Infrastructure
Data sovereignty
Risk
SEO
I've established previously that Google has free tools (as there are paid ones too, with enhanced features) - tools that can establish the overall rating on a website's User Experience, and especially the SEO.
As User Experience is an extremely important factor in SEO ranking, Google would be the first go-to option for learning more; however, Risk is an extremely important factor to bear in mind too. Things like natural disasters could influence stability of infrastructure. Normally, hosting in the same country in which the website is operative, and from which most traffic will come, is important; as the distance which data has to travel, influences website speed, and page speedAnother consideration, would of course be affordability; now international hosting companies do very well have the ability to charge significantly less for hosting, but if a website has to be transferred to a local destination, there might be downtime on the site (which influences SEO negatively), and some content might be lost too. In conclusion, Local hosting is a preferred option in the long run when considering profitability, and even stability too

When life gets out of order
When life gets out of order When life gets out of control And we don't know what to doIf fear creeps in when we knew that they too Would be held accountableBut the situation seems unsurmountable The cause seems unclear, and the end seems nowhere near
When the future looks dim; We know where our help comes from; From HimThe One Who made heaven and earth The One Who knows your worthand counts the hair on your head The One Who knows what you think, and what will still be said

Fudge -the south African treat
Fudge, is such a cultural treat in South Africa. We have a corner shop close to us selling fudge... but ... oh my goodness... it has such a homely taste. It is just so good. There's no other way than to describe it as welcoming... This too, will make such a lovely mother's day gift, if packed properly. I think, if given with cappacino, or chocolates wrapped in cellophane with a beautiful ribbon 🎀.

Preparing for Mother’s Day
While doing research this morning, I found something extremely interesting (bearing in mind that I had absolutely no interest in History in school, I thought it to be a useless peace of past that was meant to be just that - passed.
So here in South Africa, being an “intermediate” user of the global technology and opportunities, I learned that the USA, South africa, Australia, and New Zealand celebrates Mother’s Day on the same day - 14 May, this year.
It lead my to discover that Canada, Australia, parts of America, parts of South africa, New Zealand, India and Imperial Britian were under British rule in the 19th century. I could not help, but put some humor in my design for Mother’s day

Small beginnings
With mother’s Day coming soon on May in South Africa, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, there are usually exciting offers globally in celebration of Mothers and Motherhood. Personally, I salute all single parents, having had to fulfill that role personally, I know that, whether male or female, the parent has to fulfil both roles of mom and dad. To many, it happens naturally - to many, it doesn’t, and becomes overwhelming, and the end thereof is sad, in many instances. My mother was a Proverbs 31 woman. She woke up early to work... she did sewing almost all her life.
She made our clothes, matric farewell dresses, wedding dresses, pompom outfits, and much, much more.
She made the best food, she was warm, loving, she cared for many children when she was younger - she was definitely a role model for many. I salute her too. There are still many times, I wish I could just sit with her and ask her for advice.
Now this was serious, and in my design for this post, I could not help but to insert some humor - it seemed such a right opportunity, because of the fact that many moms live for their family

It took a long time to learn everything I know now, and I’n definitely not saying that I know everything there is to know, or perhaps even enough... Perhaps I don’t know what I don’t know, and I need to find out what it is, so I can learn, so if anyone would like to get in contact, or teach me something more advanced, you are more than welcome to. I’ve also spent some time on Social Media, putting myself out there; but it turns out I’m more confused now than I was before I ventured the Social Media Route.
I know that there’s alot scammers (now more than ever), especially from Nigeria, but it seemed like I didn’t get much attention other than from those scammers. To me, now, it’s kinda sad (with a smile).
But it’s the way it is (I guess)
My husband gets daily hack attacks on his websites, each more than 200 per day. But that is how webnet Incorporated started.
In the meanwhile, inbetween all my attempts to generate additional income, my husband fully supported me, but I didn’t succeed. I managed to land extremely difficult client though - the LMS - it’s really not a walk in the park - even if I set it up from scratch myself (I think), because there were few times I just got stuck; linking the courses, setting up the payment gateway, linking the courses with the payment gateway, setting up correct categories (bearing in mind that I didn’t have a teacher (or tutor), but my husband just knew... I’m so grateful for him. We worked together on that and made it a success. So we decided together that merging our businesses is a good idea; and we got another business on board. It’s sad that there are so many website design companies out there, either asking exorbitant prices for services that’s not that difficult, or, designers that, just messes around. From the beginning, we decided that we would never extort anyone, but that honest, reliable, ethical work, is what we stand by; and I have to admit that working with my husband, is beneficial. There is so much I can learn from him, and so much he helps me with.
Men just have a technical knowledge (many) women doni’t have. I’m sure that there are many women out there that are better mechanics / technicians / or whatever... than lots of men, but I sure am not one of them. I enjoy art, design, poetry, flowers and beautiful things, and shopping, and sales and good food, but I would say that I am extremely good at coding, connecting data, etc.
It’s not my strong(est) points. You’ll read more of my poetry in the coming blogs...
I wrote a poem for my mother on her birthday (yesterday), but she’s passed away in 2013 already. It was extremely tough road that I had to walk to get where I am today... To me, personally... I just did what I had to, to survive, and not have my child taken away from me (which made me strong), but numerous people now, say I’m very strong. I sure wasn’t before my parents passed away. Also, bearing in mind that I have the tendancy to be very strong-willed and stubborn. It paid off, but I had alot to learn... In the mean while here’s my mom... Whom I will love forever... untill we meet again

What I’d really love to do, is teach-online - Design, Website Design, Marketing, SEO; and how it all works together. I have an excellent teacher - my husband. The reason for my writing, being to inspire and encourage, as I’ve experienced personally, myself, when I was much younger, that it is easy to excuse oneself from many responsibilities due to a disability. Now, I’m not saying that all disabled people are, at their core, well able, but I do strongly believe that is is a mindset; however, I’ve also seen that some disabled people’s physical abilities might liimit them to some extent. It is all extremely interesting, but I feel like I had to paint an inspiring background picture from which to launch the serious stuff.
I would love to call myself an seo specialist, but I’m not sure if, at this point I fit the description.
It turns out that I do! As an seo specialist uses the relevant keyword research to the advantage of the seo ranking, to ensure, and better, if possible the seo.
Paid marketing is different, as keyword research is also essential, the pay-per-click campaigns ensure that the highest bidding keyword ranks highest.
I’ve learned that organic keyword research and organic searches pay well for startup companies. There are differernt SEO programs (plugins) (if you’re a WordPress website designer to utilize to get good results. Some of the best being RankMath, AIOSEO, and yoast. And then (as a startup, with limited funds) you might want to consider using free SEO tools in your keyword research, etc.
Technology has changed in that some free website builders now also offer seo tools. I’ve never used them, therefor I’m not familiar with what it is, and how it works.I do think that the abilities of such website builders and the seo it includes is extremely limited. And if anyone decides, at any point to transfer a website from a free website to Wordpress (because most builders are on a foreign platform, the delay in trhe transfer might take up to 5 working days and there are other technical issues involved . But this is enough for now, please s tay tuned to learn more...

Personally, color is like change. 3D color is much more exciting. So when I started with marketing, and then design; it was kind of inevitable that I started learning about SEO; as I wanted to know the game behind marketing. I will always love graphic design, however, I found out that marketing is a very small section of attracting traffic to your website and generating leads. The fact that originatlity is everything; is not so much everything anymore, but presentation, presence, exposure, content and SEO all plays a part in generating leads. I just know that I thoroughly enjoy SEO setup and maintenance - the maintenance, , the listing, keywords & keyword research.
I am someone that cannot (and I’m sure I’m not the only one) stick with something if it feels like it’s not working, hence the reason for loving color, and being creative; and then to top it off, my creativity takes on many forms, sometimes to the extreme frustration of my family; I would start with something, and while I’m busy, in my mind connect what I’m busy with with something else, which I got to finish at that time, before continuing. This happened too much while doing sewing
so when I learned about SEO, alt text, marketing, blogging, listings, and how it all fitted together, it started prickling my interest while I realised that we needed a second income... So I stumbled upon, and got stuck (at least for now) at affiliate marketing, as something that I could blog about, while creating an income, and earning a living (passively). So I have time for my family.
I started Googling the Best affiliate programs in South Africa, and came upon a very interesting find... however, not too many South Africans are aware of the fact that buying internationally could save you money and deliver better quality products, depending on the purchase. So I joined Amazon affailiates, and Clickbank affiliates. If you are considering becoming an Amazon affiliate, and you are unsure where to begin; you are welcome to click on the following link: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/.

Daring to live fully
Webnet Incorporated started out as Exclusive Designs, where I did only design and marketing while learning how to design websites. Learning how to do websites were nice but not that easy... My teacher (my husband) is very good at it and does not like fooling around, learning from others, or too many of the same mistakes repeatedly, but he's good. I officially had to get rid of the mindset that life is easy, and that people feel sorry for you and excuse you for mistakes just because you are different. I learned to love my type of different, and that different is normal. I learned to make use of my type of weird to make it work for me (I also learned that creatives are usually weird, and I knew that I liked being creative. Exclusive Designs did not yield any profit (over an extended period of time) , so I tried getting my own servers.
This was extremely premature (all on webnetincorporated.com), which I'm glad for the .com, as it opened up international business opportunities. In the meantime I learned how to build a WordPress LMS site, which I feel very honored to have done. And as marketing lead me to blogging, blogging lead me to affiliate marketing, which I have now started. But you'll have to stay tuned to learn more... Bye for now

Small Beginnings
That’s when Phoenix Business Solutions started. (phoenixbusinesssolutions.co.za)
In the same time, we faced alot of trials, fear, insecurity, shame from others, and doubt in ourselves... Somehow the trust in my husband and in his abilities grew with leaps and bounds. There were times when we had to believe for food, for work, for an income; but we came out stronger. I then started working with, and for my husband (I remember it was when I was younger, I said that if I get married, I would like to marry someone who could lead me in business, (little did I know...).
I started off doing marketing, and very soon started loving design. Digital design on platforms like Canva.com was so easy, and doable, even for me - I never thought I’d be able to design, but I quickly learned the ins-, and outs- of design, tutorials on design principles, fundamentals, colour, shape, spacing etc.
It was, and is, wonderful; and then I started taking an interest in SEO, because you see, when you design something, authentic designs has more authority on the internet if the alt text and seo is done right, but SEO seemed like such a mountain, completetly out of reach for someone like me... until I started learning more. Hint: Neil Patel (neilpatel.com) is awesome at SEO, and he’s a good teacher as well. I learned alot from him. My husband is very good at SEO as well, and I learned alot from him too... He also mentored people globally, and taught some locals who now earn their own living. But it wasn’t overnight...
His business picked up when we realised what a mess many designers make of (on) websites... So he grew in credibility too. He also gained many clients from designers who stuffed up, or never performed.
It reminded me of something my dad always used to say: “That your word is all you’ve got, and you only have one reputation... that money cannot buy you a good reputation...
I’m a little less like my dad in that regard. But this was ingrained in my husband, and I had alot of changing to do - which was not easy for me either. The first five years of our marriage was really not easy. Like in, really. Not for me, and not for him either. In the meanwhile, I tried building my first for-real website. I really love the Lord, so I made something Christian. It was really not easy, and I didn’t know a quarter of what I know now. If I knew then what I know now, I would’ve made the site much more engaging, but it’s over. I then tried (Ithink) two different things (one of which website design), but I worked for six months, engaging on social media, advertising, working on my site... Nothing... I think I then realised that it was not what I was supposed to do... But I still love(d) talking, words, encouraging etc.
Then I built webnetincorporated.com. To me it made sense to name my site something that has to do with online work, not involving something specific. Bye for now... Stay tuned for more...
