It really puts into perspective who are the people who seem to really care and those who just put up with you when they have no other entertainment or because you push so hard they feel like they have to pay attention so you’ll leave them alone a few more weeks.

Stop making effort for people who don’t seem to care about you otherwise and see how long it takes for them to search you out. Watch what they ask and how they respond.

Learn how little your friendship means to them in the process.

Build yourself up. Leave them behind and forge a new path. Make new friends.

Most of the time I handle pretty well. I keep it together and lock my issues, problems and sadness away but occasionally the thoughts slip through and I feel so alone. People tell me I have them all the time but it never really seems to be true when I need it. Ive decided it's time for a change. I am alone. I am comfortable with it. I'm used to it. I'm used to being forgotten or ignored til its convenient for others to reach out to me or they need help. I just hate the lies. Don't pretend for my sake. I am alone. It's actually nice not expecting anything of others. Worrying about only myself. Doing my own thing regardless of circumstances. I am alone. Its almost liberating in a way. The lack of expectations. The lack of lies or half truths. I am alone and I am fine.
