Hello all!

I took a week break from the game to focus on other things and not burn myself out when it comes to this game, I’ll start working again tomorrow!

Anyways some tiny updates:

-Cgs are getting done! slowly but surely

-More stills are done! Celine’s are very close to finished and another characters stills are also pretty close to completetion (There’s still 3 more characters who need stills but they have pretty small roles so they won’t take as long)

-I ran into a problem with a command in renpy, I haven’t figured out what the problem is exactly but I found a way around it, so if I can’t work it out I at least have a solution

Nah you’re going to be able to play on mac as well!

Imo i feel like keeping the other routes secret makes it more fun! Plus makes the players wonder how many there actually are

All endings have been written!!! I finished up everything with some help from Myth and all endings have been created and named!!

I also realized we might need like 1 or 2 beta testers outside of us two to make sure the game actually ya know, works

Do y’all know about how long until y’all release the game?

I’m aiming to get the game out very soon because I doubt I’d be able to get this game out if I work on it on top of school starting up again, so no promises but maybe this week or sometime next week

So what is A Date With Celine?

Well A date with celine is a choose your own adventure game created by @quiet-myth and myself ( @gemstone6 )!

It’s gonna have multiple endings (over ten!!) You can choose ur name and pronouns aren’t an issue cause you’re never referred to ever (ok kinda of a joke but it’s told through a first person perspective so yeh, and even if you are talked abt they use gender neutral words)

We’re still pretty early in devlopement and there’s no set release date just yet but we’ll be updating on this on our progress! so yeh if ur interested follow along! Cause we’re both REALLY excited for this game

Now FAQ time (we’ll be editing this over time if we get more questions)

Where do you plan on selling (if you can) this game? Also, where can we play it?:

-The game will be free and I’m looking at either gamejolt or itch.io where you’ll be able to download it

For the Questions: Is the main theme only romance, or is there any mystery/adventure sort of elements? Also, are there any routes that lead to just close friendship? (I know it says Date but I didn't think it would hurt to ask? Hope you all have a good day!):

-while u are on a date with her, there are routes that focus on more the outside event rather than a romance and routes that are more focused on the date aspect, I tried to balance it as much as I could

When does this take place?

-a year or so before the events of wkm!

(answered this wrong, the actual location of the game is kept vague, it’s somewhere in the us somewhat close to where Markiplier Manor is)

How many endings are there?

-over ten! (actual number of endings will either be revealed when I finish them or I’ll keep it a secret, who knows ;) )

Will we see any of the other WKM characters or even any other egos in the game?:

A few, but yes!

Since I don’t know how long this game will, I’ll just update yall every friday or when something gets done!

So here’s todays update:

-Currently 5 endings are finished!! Obviously I’ll have to edit them/review them for typos and such but they’re currently coded in game so it’s actually like- a game and just the placeholder I had for some time

-Backgrounds and spirtes are in the process of being made! I started the spirtes last night and got a bunch completed

-I’m still looking for music for the game but i do already have a few I’m gonna use!

Things that need to be finished/made:

-Potential cinematics for the game, I know where they would go I just have to decide if we’d wanna do that

-The rest of the endings

-the other characters sprites, I’ve only started Celine’s 

-the backgrounds

-the interface of the game is going to have to be changed from the default
