It’s honestly exhausting at times to have internet friends

I had someone tell me not too long ago if I wanted to hang out with them then I should go to them... and they got upset when I didn't want to do that. It's not that I don't wanna hit someone up. It's that I'm so FUCKING TIRED of doing it. I'm so fucking tired of always being the one to ask of people want to do shit. It honestly feels really fucking nice when someone is considerate enough to ask me to hang out for once. Like it might seem like a small thing but it shows that it's not just a one sided ordeal and it really goes a long fucking way. It makes me feel good, but in the society that we live in today, it almost feels like a crime to say that. To say what you want because it seems selfish to want someone else to ask you to hang out without being told to do so for once. People say well why don't you tell them that communication is key or whatever. The reason a lot of girls kinda hope guys catch on to things is for the same reason people don't ask people to ask them to hang out. It's kinda meaningless at that point. If I have to ask you to ask me, it's meaningless. Because at that point you're doing it because I asked rather than of your own accord. And if you do do it of your own accord, while it's a small gesture it really goes a long way and I find it quite meaningful and am likely to not forget it anytime soon. I'm so tired of asking every damn day of hey you wanna hang out? Or you gonna be online? Like if you don't wanna do it, just say no. No reason to dodge me or make excuses. Just say no and I'll know not to waste my time with you and fuck off. I'm a pretty easy straightforward person. I'm just pissed someone had the audacity to get mad at me when I'm always the one asking and they still told me to ask... like... I'm tired of asking, I'm not about to beg. My mouth has run dry and I'm out of fucks to give. I think being honest and just saying you don't want to be friends hurts less than dragging me on and leading me on thinking we're friends. I hate fake ass bullshit. And I'm tired of throwing my fucks I give into an endless unreciprocative void. Being friends is very much a two way street and it's not fair to anyone in a friendship if they're putting in 120% and the other isn't even putting in 50% and they're still asking you to hit them up. Like nah if they really want to hang out they would have naturally done it by now. Don't give me that hit me up bullshit on your high horse.

just stumbled across Francisco Soria Aedo's work and first off: really good painter, super talented. He mainly did portraits and neoclassical but I really like are his expressions, which do show up in his neoclassical work. lots of people smiling and having fun and it's just very cute
