I love how kaleidoscore is made up of 3 of the most beautiful seiyuus in Liella (nagi, liyuu and yuina) but at the same time they're also the goofiest group of all

Like nagi and yuina are the biggest meme queens of the group

And while liyuu is more like a tsukkomi (or relatively saner than everyone else), her character keke is one of the goofiest characters in the show

Love me a subunit that can look and sound absolutely stunning while singing and also be absolute goofs thereafter

because i have a platform and i'm not ashamed to use it, i just want to gush about how great the liella!! subunits are in terms of concepts and showcasing the seiyuu's talents

catchu with their rock numbers and powerful vocals, yabuchan and paychan's growls in during the lives are super cool

kaleidoscore with their ballads and mature feel, i've mentioned this about tiny stars before but i really like how they've incorporated vocal harmonies in liella's music and kaleidoscore's songs and live performances are another example of this

5yncri5e with their catchy dance numbers, i honestly thought they were the "leftover" group with 5 members (whereas the others had 3 each), but their concept as a dance-focused group works so well for them and their dance choreographies are on point

not implying that the other LL seiyuus are less talented, but i really do feel that as an entire package, liella is one of the most well-rounded and impressive LL groups produced - they can hold their weight as bona fide idols

in fact, it was the seiyuu's polished performances that drew me to liella and back into the LL fandom again in the first place

after superstar s3 ep 6 and its parallels with s1 ep 2, alll the more i'm seeing the parallels between kanon/keke and kumiko/reina's relationship

during their first year, it's keke's passion that convinces kanon to take that leap of faith and pursue singing as a school idol, the same way reina's drive to "become special" changes the way she sees herself as a euphonium player, sparking a passion in her

and during their third year, it's kanon who asks the same question to keke, convincing her to follow her passion for music after high school, the same way kumiko reinforces reina's drive to "become special" on mt daikichi after she chose mayu over her for the euph soli

firstly, keke's entire story from s1 culminated to this point - leaving her hometown of shanghai to live alone and study in japan because she wants to be a school idol

secondly, her inner dilemma is clearly fleshed out - she loves singing on stage as a school idol, but she is keenly aware of the lofty expectations her parents places on her and wants to honour their wishes by going to a regular university in Beijing. And we can see all this building up from S1 to S2 where they threatened to ask keke to come back to china if she didn't produce results in love live in japan

thirdly, her sister/group mates especially kanon asking keke to reconsider her decision hits hard emotionally because we've seen all the events transpiring till this moment. Keke convincing kanon to be a school idol with her by asking her if it's truly the end of the road for something she loves so much and going through hell and back in order to perform tiny stars with her as kuukaa during their debut as school idols - the same way kanon asks keke if it's truly the end of the road for something she loves so much. And even for the briefer scenes with sumire, she reinforces what she had always been telling her since the beginning of wanting to see keke on stage. And her sister being the most supportive 姐姐 from the start to the end is just really sweet in general.

All in all, a really beautiful episode for Keke's character development from the beginning till now
