The stench of cheap perfume and the weight of cheap lies cling to you, a grotesque stain upon the fabric of my existence, like blood soaked into the purity of a white shirt
not a wound, but a mockery of suffering.
You are the fly, drawn inexorably to decay,
the sickly horse, collapsing under its own feeble strength.
Your words spill forth in torrents, hollow and endless, a cacophony devoid of meaning or resolve.
Responsibility, that solemn burden, you evade with the desperation of a condemned woman.
Your communication, crude and infantile,
betrays a soul unformed, a spirit incapable of growth.
You are the traffic light in a lawless world,
a symbol rendered impotent,
a truth stripped of all power.
You always dreamed of being loved by a poet,
but alas, you cannot even read.
Each word, each gesture,
a shadow cast by no light,
a specter of what is not, wearing masks that crumble at the slightest touch,
pretending to be someone you could never truly become.
Bland, ordinary—
a shadow in a world of light,
a void that even words cannot fill.
And yet, we dance in the old theater,
beneath the chandeliers and crumbling arches,
in the mockery of Victorian grace.
Our silver swords clash,
the sharp ring of metal carving through the heavy air, losing themselves in the walls,
fading into the abyss of this forgotten place,
where echoes linger longer than love,
and battles leave no victors,
only scars.
