How do you rip sprites and stuff? I would like to do a reskin of Mechanical Dance's sprites that people can use in a game but I want to be able to guide people on how to do it! (Also, can you post Mechanical Dance? hehe)

Alright, this is going to be a long ass post. So everything undercut, and I'll post Mechanical Dance After this. Quick note, I don't know how to go about putting them back into the game, but! I can show you how to get the sprite sheets! (I assume from all I use it's basically just working backwards, but don't quote me)

I use Petschkos RPG-Maker MV & MZ-File Decrypter (link)

Use En- & Decrypt,

(if bought off steam) Browse to Steam > steamapps > common > Fear & Hunger 2 Termina > www > img

You're going to find all the sprite sheets in the characters folder

It'll all look like this once you decrypt and save (my folder as an example)

Now. Fear and hunger, even in the first game isn't labeled the best. (Not that this is a bad thing) So, you will have to dig for some sprites, though it's not hard as long as you don't rush! Thankfully! Mechanical Dance isn't hard to find, so we can find the sprite sheets

So next part is pretty easy, open these up in any photo/art program you use. (ATM I use my copy CPS bc I'm lazy)

SO, this next part is important. You're going to notice that in some sprites have copies of the same positions / pose. That's fine! In rpgmaker, some animations need at least three frames, even is there is no major visual difference. I tend to for rips just copy one of them.

Then all you do crop the sprite you want, and save it as a duplicate PNG to keep the transparency. I'd also suggest for some sheets, adding a colored background layer to make it a bit easier to too at. (Just be sure to hide the layer when saving for the transparency.) "Should trans women be allowed to compete in women's sports" I don't think there should be women's sports. I think it's a silly artificial construction that only upholds the gender binary while it's benefits are incidental and would be better addressed directly.

Care about giving people with different body types and muscle mass a shot? Split your league by weight categories like boxing, or some other direct physical measurement. Gender is at best a poor proxy for these and we only do it because we still treat women are a different species. "But that still wouldn't be fully fair to everyone?" Sport isn't fully fair, it's about rewarding people with the most biological advantage. That's the whole point of it.

You want to give more sporting opportunity to women and minorities specifically? Okay then do that. Create your own opportunities league, but if we're giving up the pretense that it's about essential biological advantage then you better let trans women in.

What's that, the extra league would be treated as a novelty afterthought and would lack the prestige of the real main event? You mean like how women's events were treated when they were introduced? True! In fact women's leagues are still largely treated as secondary now, and you know how we can fix it? Make the main leagues open to everyone with weight, height or muscle mass categories so that people with different body types can excel. Like I suggested before. Problem solved.

It's important to me that everyone understands that if you've got an autistic friend who periodically sends you pictures/videos/whatever of your Thing, because they know you're into it... They love you.

Now don't get me wrong, It may not necessarily be romantic love, they might not want to run off to a little farm in Montana where you'll be married forever and raise little sheeps...

But they definitely love you. And they're so happy when they spot a post about X and go "ooh, my friend likes X! I'll send it to them!".
