maybe jungkook is the type of guy that places his hand on your thigh soothingly when you are both out for a group dinner, his head tilting the slightest in silent question when your gaze meets his. you know he's asking if you were doing fine; if everything was too loud; if you wanted to head home early. you give him a smile and murmur i'm alright, which makes him look at you a moment longer before he nods, trusting you. he leans forward to brush the lightest kiss to your temple, earning a grateful smile from you as you cover your hand overtop of his. "say the word whenever and i'll take us home, okay?"
maybe jungkook is the type of guy that gets up in the morning relatively well now, comparing to how fast he can knock out by nighttime. he freshens up, pulls the curtains open, and chuckles down at you when you groan at the blinding sunlight. fishing you out from underneath the blankets, he noses your cheek and greets you a soft good morning, love. with his arms wrapping around your waist, you knowingly took that as a sign to curl your arms around his neck as he hoists you both off the bed. he smiles to himself as he waddles you to the bathroom. "come on, sleepyhead -- up and at 'em."
and maybe, just maybe, jungkook is the type of guy that knows your moods and the way you carry your emotions better than anyone else. he's careful when you communicate on the days that you're not doing great, frowning as you shut yourself off in order to cope but not wanting to impose by crossing any boundaries. he catches you when you come down from your home office to get some lunch he made, arms open for a hug invitation. he breaths a sigh of relief when you melt into him instantly. when he mutters do you want to talk about it? and you shake your head no, he hums in understanding and squeezes you reassuringly. "then i'll be here when you're ready."

In a world filled with many wonderful people, please never forget that you are one of them. It is normal to feel small, insignificant even, when you meet new people. It is easy to recognise how amazing, beautiful and talented others are and to forget about your own strengths. I just want to remind you that even if there are 7.9 billion people in this world, you are still one of a kind. You still matter. And your existence is important. The voices in your head might be saying that your life is pointless, because you are not as special as others; that's a lie, my love. You are so special. It is time to finally recognise your worth.
