Poldi Hirsch's medical Arts building built for her husband Dr. Gunther Hirsch has some absolutely amazing features. I personally love the 2 types of brick work, the railing is an architectural gem and look at the angles on the entry way, would you call that cantilever? I do hope the current owners see the beauty of this space and keep it preserved, it's a wonderful building with so much potential. Do you ever Google street view to see how your home looked a few years ago? I'm hoping they don't drive by anytime soon, since we have loads of landscaping to do! You could not see the house from ANY angles few years ago! She's a beauty and she's out now. First landscaping project we'll be working on is burying the drain pipe, it's in a terrible location pouring out into the sidewalk that has sunken because of all the rain. We're trying to mitigate the water away from our homes foundation and that's why you sometimes see a giant black pipe coming off the front of the house. We don't have many options but the top two our burying the pipe into a dry river bed or having the water flow into a box with a sump pump. What have you done to keep the water away from your foundation? Anyone else located in a high water table?
