17. Do a challenge at my gym
I did a 60 day challenge at my gym and I loved it! And I got MVP for my team because of how I stuck to the challenge even though I was traveling a lot.

16. Go to Tijuana
I finally made it to Tijuana. Sandy and I got lucky in that we didn’t have to stand in a long line entering or exiting Mexico. We went to a art fair and I got a shirt. I really need to learn Spanish.

7.3 Foster a dog
This is Dundee. I fostered him and LOVED him. I wanted to keep him because he was active and cuddly and jumped to my rescue when I “fainted.” But he would attack Poppy so I had to put her first.

15. Take an Improv Class
I took another improv class but this time I’ve done an actual show. Think we have another show before the class is over. But I’ve also signed up for the next level and I plan on completing the whole series!

13. Eat out alone
I went to my favorite breakfast spot. The Waffle Spot. I’m technically on a vegan diet but today was the last day before the 60-day challenge at my gym where I have to follow a vegan diet and I’ve been doing pretty good so far. My meal wasn’t vegan but it was vegetarian. Eggs, hash browns and, or course, WAFFLES!

12. Finish Ten Runs in California
On December 31, 2018, I finished my 10th run in California. This included a 8-miler which was my longest race distance. The cool thing is that I did all this within the last six months of the year.

11. Get fertility tested
So I finally took the plunge and got my fertility tested. It’s a hard type of appointment to go to alone, and the process is super quick. It required me to really think in a way that I didn’t think I needed to for, at least, a little bit of time. It’s definitely requiring me to put my big girl panties on.

10. Try Ramen
I finally tried Ramen. Derrick Hamlin would be proud. I couldn’t taste it, obviously, but I’d try it again.

9. Go on a ferry
My cousin, Joy, was in town so we took a ferry to Coronado Island. The ferry to Coronado was a fifteen minute ride but we took a five minute, much wavier ride. I loved it though and for only $5 dollars one-way, it seems like a fun thing to do every once in a while. Oh...Poppy came with up.

8. Go to a theatre performance
I went to see Wicked, a musical I’ve wanted to see for years. I absolutely loved it. I even paid to go on a backstage tour with the cast member above. And a cool thing was that the theatre was in walking distance from home.

7. Foster a dog!!!!
I cant believe it and I thought it would never happen but I am currently fostering a dog...Gilly. I know, she’s the exact opposite of what I wanted (female, white, and small) but I’m absolutely loving this experience. I may actually keep her.

5. Go to the beach
I FINALLY went to the beach and I absolutely loved it! It was close and easy to get to. I went on a week day so there were no issues with parking. I’m going to come here as often as I can. Every week if possible!

I ran 5 miles at Coronado Island today. It was beautiful. I will definitely do that again. The bonus was that I got to hang at the beach too.

3. Take a dance class.

I took a cardio hip hop class at Culture Shock today! It was pretty fun. I was expecting it to be like Kazaxe but it was more like a dance class where we worked on one routine the entire time then got to perform it at the end of class. I didn’t get as loose as I would have liked but perhaps it’s something I can do again and learn to become more loose like some of the other participants in the class.
