Common concealment methods
Pocketing
This is the most basic method. Discreetly conceal the objects in your pockets. The bigger the pocket the better. Try not to do this with loose pockets because the items can slip away and reveal you on the spot.
Sleeving
Very similar to pocketing. Just push your targeted items down (or up) your sleeve. This can only be done with smaller items. Sleeving is a bit trickier than pocketing because you always have to concentrate on the items in your sleeves so you don’t turn them vertically and make them fall out. Especially be careful with glass/fragile goods!
Dropping
Simply hold the object above your bag and drop it in when no one is watching. You’ll want to use a bag, a tote, or a purse beause backpacks generally cause more suspicion.
The phone check
If you feel a bit nervous about just pocketing/dropping an item, put your phone in the place you’re about to conceal it in and switch them inside. Pretend you were looking at the time or texting someone.
The fitting room
These are a lífter’s heaven. You can just rearrange/conceal your lifted goods here since you have absolute privacy (unless the fitting rooms are supervised or there are a lot of SAs near by which means you have to stay as quiet as possible). Sometimes the SAs will count the items you bring in (and out) but there are methods like floor concealment or double hanging to trick them. If you’re going to be removing tags do not leave them in the rooms or on the items you are going to return to the SAs! Dispose of them somewhere else in the store (preferably hide them on other items).
The cup
Take an empty soda cup (the kind you would get in a fast food restaurant), cut an x at the bottom of it and simply slide in smaller objects inside. You can also do this with a full cup if the drink won’t damage the items. Just slip them from above and make sure you don’t cause any spillage or that you don’t drink too much (that can reveal the items).
Walking away
Walking away isn’t really about concealment… quite the opposite I would say. This method advises you to simply walk out of the store with the items as if you already own them. If somebody apprehends you just say you forgot to pay or that you changed your mind and don’t want them after all (but forgot to return them). I don’t reccomend this method since it is highly unreliable and if somebody sees you walking away with an unpaíd item once they will probably confront you the next time you’re around!
Waistband concealment
Wear stretchy or tight fitting clothes (things may get uncomfortable with these) and conceal the items between your waistband and your underwear (make sure you have a t-shirt or something else to cover them). You can also do this with fishnets or by wrapping some elastic tape around your waist, stomach, or any body part, really.
Down the bra
As a guy I don’t really know exactly how uncomfortable this is but my friends regularly hide stuff in their bras, even when not shôplifting. Some place a whole pack of cigârettes in there. Just be discreet while doing this inside a store.
The baby cart
Conceal the items inside a baby cart. People generally have more symapthy for customers with strollers or children around.
Footwear concealment
Conceal items in your long boots, long sneaker, long socks etc.
Remember to always be as non-suspicious as you can and to conceal on the move whenever possible (movement makes everything harder for the cameras)!
Happy lifting!

Beginner's Guide!
“He adopts methods that fit his unique talents and the kind of merchandise he intends to st*al. The professional s*op*if*er plans ahead; he knows what he wants, where to find it and how to get it.” -Kansas Bureau of Investigation
Here are tips that have flown me under the radar, as that is your ultimate goal while shopping.
Like what the quote says, know what you want, where to find it and how to get it.
What:
What do you want to buy? A Stanley Cup? Lulu leggings? Cute top from Brandy? You will need to know how to buy them, and where. Will you require a magnet/hook? What will you conceal with? Ask yourself these things and prepare. What would you say to the SA who greets you? What are some signs you are giving yourself away? What will you wear? Be calm and collected. Once you step into a mall, a store, you wear the face of any other shopper who will spend their money. You, on the other hand, can use a special discount at the cost of nothing to you, except common sense and intuition.
Where:
Where are you gonna go shopping? In an affluent area, or high crime? Research and look into store policies. A N*rdstr*m won’t have the same SA as a Pacs*n. Google at the mall you will shop at, and look at store reviews and photos that are most recent. Are the SAs trailing you from the moment you walk at the door, because they are paid on commission (and if they catch you shopping), or are they inattentive and nonchalant because they are being paid minimum wage (and putting minimum effort). When will you be going? On a busy Friday night or a calm Sunday morning? Anticipate and plan accordingly before you are going from store-to-store. Park away from the store. While some stores won't chase, they can look out the doors/windows to note your license plate info. Map out in which order you are going shopping. Sometimes plans change, so be adaptable.
HOW:
The most important step in shopping. How will you conceal a Stanley Cup? Detag the Lulu leggings? How will you bring merchandise out of the store without triggering alarms and bringing suspicion?
Methods from the Kansas Bureau of Invesitagtion:
Wears a shirt, slacks or other garment with an elastic waistband or wears “shoplifter bloomers.”
Palms small articles. Packages, newspapers, coats, gloves and other things that are carried in the hand can be used as shoplifting aids.
Tries on a garment, places his outer garment over the stolen one and wears your merchandise out of the store.
Enters the store without jewelry or accessories, but wears or carries items of this type when he leaves.
Wears a long outer coat and conceals articles between his legs.
Here is the document: https://www.kansas.gov/kbi/PDF/brochures/Shoplifting.pdf
If you are wondering how I concealed a Stanley Cup, detagged Lulu leggings, all while not triggering alarms and not brining suspicion:
With my experience, I'd buy the Stanley cup from REI or Urb*n, and conceal them with a bag that can maintain structure with the cup inside. I'd make sure the bag held something small first, like keys, then took those out while I discretely put the Stanley cup inside, IN A BLIND SPOT. I wouldn't recommend Urb*n to beginners, as you will need a magnet to detag.
At Lulu, I'd grab a hideous ugly sweater/jacket and the pair of leggings, and conceal the leggings discretely, either with the sweater or in a bag I can slip it in. In the dressing room, with my shoes off, I try on the of the sweater/jacket, and with the pair of leggings I want to buy, I detag WITH A HOOK. I recommend hooks over magnets as they aren't that noisy and are easier to carry and work with than magnets. After detagging and removing the price tag, I conceal the tags in the other article of clothing. Bonus points if there are zippered pockets to put the price tags in. I reattach the tag to the pockets, being careful to not be loud or slow. There is usually a fitting room attendant and he/she will be suspicious if you take too long.
If you are considering investing in a magnet/tag, check reviews before you buy. I bought my supplies off of Am*z*n. Please note, not all magnets will work with all tags. Tags are, in my opinion, more reliable than magnets. Also, magnets can destroy your phone if they are placed too close together.
CARRYING A MAGNET/HOOK/BOO$TER BAG/ETC IS A PUNISHABLE OFFENCE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU TOOK ANYTHING. You will be charged with "intent to sh*pl*ft" and you will regret ever buying a tool. Be careful. Be quiet when using a magnet/hook. I have bought over thousands of dollars worth of goods yet I don't have a boo$t*r bag because I don't need one, nor want one. I wouldn't even want to make a makeshift one because if it fails, sh*t will hit the fan and everything is over in my life even when I am young.
Like a test, you wouldn't take it if you didn't study. So if you plan on shopping, review LP policies online, like on Tumblr or Reddit. Ask questions if you need help. I check my inbox as much as I can and I love to help a fellow I*fter out! Hands-on experience matters. Scope a place out before you go shopping there. Most importantly, stay calm and think with clarity and common sense, like a test ;)
With back to school season, I recommend shopping at St@pIes or Off*ceM@x. Wanna know why? Check out LP and stories on Tumblr or on other websites. After, go see for yourself and scope the store out. That's what I did and I haven't yet spent a single penny on overpriced school supplies.
Good Luck Babes

tips for bby l1ft3rs (or anybody really)
been lifting for a while so i've learned a few things along the way, and i want to help others! please read through the whole thing if you can, and if you dont want to, i left specific tips for some stores at the towards the bottom of this post. im not new to l1ft1ng but i'm new to the community so lmk some things i should know about the tumblr l1ft1ng communtiy. like and reblog so others can see this! <3
the most important part of lifting is knowing how to conceal. if you don't know how to conceal, you don't know how to st3@l 🤷🏽♀️. if you're using a bag to conceal please for the love of God, do NOT use a tote bag! maybe its just my opinion but it makes you look hella suspicous when you walk into a store like se4ah or ulta holding a tote bag super close to your body where you can easily slip something in. if you are going to use a purse use a purse that has some sort of zipper you can easily open and slip something into. if you are going to conc3al on your body, girls, i'd reccomend wearing a semi-tight sports bra with a loose fitting shirt. you could also wear nike pros/spandex or leggings under some pants/shorts and easily slip things into them.
if you want to take clothes, make sure you wear loose fitting clothing. (dress for the weather to avoid suspicion) when getting ur items, get some things you actually want and some "decoys". go to the fitting room and tell the employee you have one less item (or however many you want) than you actually have. (some fitting rooms you don't need an employee to get into but it just depends on your area/store) if the employee grabs the items and counts them in front of you, you're cooked, and probably can't get anything 😭 once you're in the fitting room THOROUGHLY check any clothes you want for any type of security tags (I'll explain how to remove some of them in the next section) and when in doubt rip it out! after you've checked for security tags, put the clothes on, and then put your actual clothes on top, look in the mirror and adjust as needed and make sure it doesn't look suspicious. and if its a small item like panties or a bra, you can also conceal in a bag, but i prefer concealing clothes on my body. then leave the items you didn't take in the fitting room. there's another method thats a little more complicated but its way less easier to get caught imo lmk if yall want to know and ill make another post about it.
for security tags, im not even gonna lie i dont have any expereicne with this, but i ordered some neodymium magnets of of temu and i'll make another post once i use them a couple times. but for tags that are stickers, the little ones that are mainly stuck onto beauty products and have a little metal-looking circle thing on them or the ones shaped like rectangles and are white you can literally just peel them off and out them on a rack/shelf/another item. sometimes the metal circle sticker ones don't work, because i've bought things with those and the alarms don't go off, but i'd still take them off or slash them just to be safe. for the ink filled ones, or the ones on clothes (yall know what im talking about) you'll need neodymium magnets, when you bring them into the store,( put them in your pocket or bra, because although its very rare somestores have magnet detectors) which you can get for really cheap off of temu, shein, or aliexpress. i really don't have experience with these type of security tags, but from what i've heard and research you should get your neodymium magnets and put them on top of the security tag and move the magnet around/ lift it up and down, and APPARENTLY you should hear a click or you will be able to easily pull it out. i heard you could also use a hook detached, but idk much about that. for clothing tags (paper/cardboard ones) make sure you rip the tags off, and hide them, or hold them up to the light to check for security tags in between the tags (hope this makes sense lol) but yeah thats all i got for this section, i dont have any personal experience and i dont wanna give you guys false info lol.
if you want to take small things like cosmetics or candy take a medium sized bag preferably with a zipper and with a decent amount of structure, or a bag that you won't be able to tell if its full or empty. before you walk into the store, put your money in your pocket or an outside pocket on your bag so if you're going to buy and st3al something, when you go to get your money from your bag the employee won't see the things in your bag. unzip your bag a little bit (not all the way) then walk into the store, when you first walk into the store, i wouldnt reccomend going immediately to the section you're b0rro0w1ng from, try to walk around a little, and act like your looking around and make sure to grab a couple random things (decoys) that you don't actually want. then find the things you want, and grab them. then you want to find a blind spot, or a corner and once you do, put all the things in your bag. and if you're going to buy something, buy it, if not, put the decoys back and leave asap. also, if you spend a long time in a store, (which i wouldn't recommend, but sometimes it happens) try to buy something, even if its something small like earrings.
if you ever feel like sa or lp is tailing you, leave immediately. most stores have a no chase policy, and won't even bother to stop you, they'll just excessively offer customer service, or sometimes ask if need a basket. and when you're concealing, make sure you don't do it around other people, because they could be plainclothes (lp dressed as a regular shopper), and even if it isnt lp, they could still snitch and get you caught. and make sure to be nice to workers, you're less likely to be remembered if you come back to the same store and the same workers are working.
now im gonna talk about specific stores, or very specific tips.
Target: some people say not to st3al from target, because they will build a case, but it really just depends on where you live, so take this with a grain of salt. and if you're really nervous about it, just take from a target when you're on vacation or not in your neighborhood. when i l1ft from target i normally buy starbucks first and then walk around, conceal my items in my bag, then leave. i sometimes buy snacks using self checkout, but that just bc they can't fit in my bag. and then i leave. and im not sure if this is true but on reddit i've read that a some of their cameras are fake, and they put most of the real ones in makeup or electronic aisles, so just be careful.
Walmart: walmart is fairly easy to take from, unless you live in a really high theft area. use the concealing tips i previously mentioned to l1ft from walmart.
Ulta: i l1ft from ulta all the time, and its fairly easy especially because they don't really have a bunch of cameras (unless you live in a high theft area), so again, please take all these store specific tips with a grain of salt. i reccomend getting a basket, and grab 2 of an item you want. then go to a blind spot and inconspicuosly look at the aisles to your left and right and make sure nobody can see you. then conceal your items and repeat until you get evrything you want. i'd reccomend buying something small to not look suspcious. last time i went to ulta, i bought some cotton pads and like some really cheap setting powder.
Sephora: if you're going to b0rr0w from a sephora, be sure to go to one inside of a kohls or a mall, i've never taken from an actually standalone Sephora because the security is always much stricter and its just much harder, but if you're really good at l1fting, go for it lol. so when you get inside the kohls, go straight to sephora, and look around, i recommend buying something small, but you don't have to. then look around your kohls for a return or shipping desk. maybe its just my sephora, but near the return desk there is a little stand with mini things from sephora. (depends on location and whats in stock, but mine has glow recipe, touchland, sol de janeiro, bum bum cream, and thats just to name a few.) grab what you want from the stands and put it in your hand, then walk to the kids section, (because those aisles tend to have little to no cameas) and conceal your item. and if your sephora is in a mall, use your shopping bag from another store to conceal the items. then walk out, and try to use the exit away from the checkout, because that where lp tends to stand.
Dollar Tree/Dollar General: these stores tend to have little to no cameras and maybe 2-4 workers in the store depending on the size. some dollar trees are starting to add sections where things are more then a dollar and have things like tshirts, leggings, airpods, etc. they're litterally the easiest store for beginners just grab what you want, and go to an empty aisle, and conceal all your items, then leave or buy something small.
Bath & Body Works:bath and body works are quite easy and a good spot for beginners especially if its in a mall. i'd recommend buying something small, then on your way out, quickly put something in your shopping bag. this may not work for everybody, but in my mall, the register is at the back of the store so i pass everything before i actually leave the store.
Malls: for malls, i'd reccomend buying things from one or two stores, and make sure you ask for your stuff to be double bagged if its a sheer plastic bag. after you've gotten a couple bags, go to a store you want to st3al from and conceal it by picking it up, finding a blind spot, and slipping it into one of your shopping bags (just make sure it doesnt have any security tags) this is really easy and was one of the first methods i used as a beginner, and i still use it now. and you can get multiple items from one store.
those were all my tips and tricks, if you have any questions, ask me anything and i'll try my best to give you a good answer. also, sorry it was so long i wanted to make it as clear and detailed as possible so it would be really easy for beginners. happy l1ft1ng! 💕

body concealing 101, with pictures
(or, how to gain 20lbs without really trying)
after the insanely long wait, i’ve finally gotten around to this thing. before we start, please keep in mind this is a one-size-(hopefully)-fits-all guide, as i am thin and short and have tits and have never been any other way lmao. if anyone of other body types wants to make their own post/add onto this please do so!
in this guide i will frequently use the words conceal and (re)pack. to conceal in the context of this guide means to be inside a store actively lifting, where taking too much time will get you caught regardless of if you’re on floor or in a changeroom. i use the word pack to refer to a location outside of a store (such as a mall bathroom or even your own car) where nobody is really paying attention to you and you are free to spend a significant amount of time changing/repacking all your items.
DO WEAR
something you can move in
clothes (especially pants) a size up, but not noticeably too big on you
a jacket (a puffy winter jacket whenever reasonable)
plain, mostly dark colours
something that hides the shape of your body
DONT WEAR
ultra-tight OR ultra-loose clothing
thick, heavy clothing on a hot day
something you’re not willing to stretch/rip by accident
1. SMALL ITEMS (makeup, toiletries, jewellery, etc)
lets start on easy mode. watch this video first. notice how much stuff i’ve managed to fit on my body in places that are (relatively) easy to reach? now consider that you can also body pack in harder to reach places such as down a pantleg, in your shoes, around your arms, between breasts … you have more space than you think, and body packing is just a matter of trying to fit things together.
small items can be concealed easily in the front waistband of your pants, up your sleeves, or in pockets, and packed later in more difficult-to-reach places such as against your back in your waistband, inside your bra, or pushed lower into your pants. small mouldable items like a facemask or makeup brush can also be stretched out along your leg inside your pants, so long as you can bend your knees and walk normally.
bra packing is a very handy tool i use frequently. soft things (such as panties) can be concealed in the cups against your breasts and it is possible to fit something cylindrical between them or on either side of you bra, parallel to where your arms fall. if your bra has fabric that covers around your rib area, items can be packed in there as well (provided it is tight enough; see above video).
waistbands are a godsend when it comes to concealing. i like to conceal high up in the waistband where i don’t have to move my shirt too much to reach, and later adjust things to pack lower down in my pants. if you layer it’s easy to fit an absolute shitload of stuff in here without any bulging (more on this in the next section). the small of your back can also be used to pack items, just check a mirror to make sure it doesn’t look funny.
finally, shoes can hold a lot of stuff. high-top boots are good for dropping long items into, and mukluks are amazing for storage (just beware if you put stuff in your boots you may eventually end up walking on it … don’t stick earrings down there. please learn from my mistakes.)
2. CLOTHES (shirts, pants, bras, panties, etc sans shoes)
two strategies here. i’d start by layering, and then wrapping when you can no longer layer without looking weird. when layering, i recommend wearing a slightly loose (not baggy) shirt and jeans that are either worn enough to move very easily with you or are a half size/one full size too big, just so you have a little wiggle room to put things underneath
layering is not only an excellent way to pack clothes, it also creates extra space and smooths the look of small items. the idea here is to just wear multiple types of one piece of clothing at once. notice how in the video i linked at the beginning of this post that i’m wearing 3 bras and 3 pairs of pants (one of which is high-waisted tights) which not only gives me more space to pack in, but also keeps things tighter to my body and therefore less likely to shift/fall out.
depending on your size, you may be able to layer more than i can without looking odd. i can fit about 3 pairs of pants (2 jeans/1 lulu tights) before it gets too tight to move easily, and anywhere between 3-7 shirts depending on style and thickness. always put your lifted clothing underneath your original clothes unless you are heading to a completely new location. do not change outfits in a mall, you can change between different standalone stores or malls.
wrapping involves literally wrapping an item of clothing around your torso or waist. you gotta make sure not to crumple what you’re wrapping, or it’ll look funny through your shirt/pants. i like to tuck things slanted through my bra, around my body, and then down into my waistband like so, because it’s more secure. if you wrap around your waist and only tuck into the waistband, make sure almost the whole garment fits into your waistband because gravity might make it flop around at the top, which looks sus as hell
3. BULKY OBJECTS (larger/weirdly shaped packaging, shoes)
gonna be honest, this shit sucks to body conceal and i don’t do it frequently. body packing isn’t always comfortable, but weirdly shaped stuff just hurts. these sorts of objects are best concealed when wearing a big jacket/scarf, as its really hard to completely hide. i prefer to gtfo of the store asap with these things, ditch the packaging and then repack it well. i will occasionally break my “body conceal only” rule on these things and put them in a shopping bag/my purse just because they suck so much to conceal. i recommend lifting these sorts of items at the end of your trip so that you’re not super uncomfortable for a long period of time. dump them in your car or purse as soon as its safe.
the only good way i’ve found to do this is a long scarf, baggy shirt, and puffy jacket. i skipped the jacket in these in these pics.
4. HOW MUCH CAN YOU FIT?
the obvious question. here we go. starting with the bottom layer, here’s 10 pairs of panties and 6 bras/bralettes. because of tumblr’s img limit, you’ll have to trust me when i say this shit’s invisible under my jeans. i look bustier than usual, but to anyone who doesn’t know my tits the way i do, i look normal.
next, 3 pairs of pants and 25 small items, including facemasks, makeup, and fake nails. for illustrative purposes, i’ve left a lot of it sticking out the top of my waistband, but in reality you want that shit jammed down there tight against your body.
finally, 8 shirts and a sweatshirt to cover it up. notice the tiny bulge by my waist; the shirts were starting to curl at the bottom and i didn’t bother to smooth them out because i was sweating so fucking much and just wanted to get all this shit off me.
here’s a video proving i’m wearing what i say i am.
and here’s all the shit i had on my body. 10 panties, 6 bras/bralettes, 3 pants, 9 shirts, and 25 small items.
5. FINAL THOUGHTS
always always always do a 360 in a mirror or at least try to look down at yourself to see if anything’s bulging or looking weird. sometimes things that look sus looking down at your body look fine from an outside perspective, and sometimes something that looks flat to you will look obviously bulky in a mirror. remember to raise your arms, reach out, lean, crouch, and twist to make sure your packing stays where it’s meant to and that you are actually capable of moving like a human being. please wear deodorant when packing because you’re gonna sweat like a motherfucker.
packing well takes practice. wearing something high-waisted or shapewear under your jeans can help to smooth out bumps and give you more space for packing. you can pack literally like. almost anywhere on your body you can reach–i packed a shirt along my spine once, i’ve twisted a scarf along the length of my arm under my shirt, and stuffed my boots with little earring packs. if it works, it works. be safe and happy lifting ! :)

My Ul+@ routine 💅💄💅💄
I posted this on the discord months ago but figured I should post it here too.
My Ul+@ lifting routine:
1. I only lift at ul+@ maybe 1-2 a month MAX
2. I am NEVER in the store for more than 15 minutes. If I enter the store at 12:00pm I am out by 12:15pm always
3. I enter the store and browse around the drugstore section for a few moments. I then grab something bulky like a mirror (not cotton balls, they apparently know this trick) and then head back to the front of the store and put it in a shopping tote.
4. I collect what I want, and I make sure not to lift more than 10 items at a time. This is gonna sound weird, but I don’t carry the bag around with me, especially when there are many SAs on the floor. For example, If I’m in the benefit section I’ll get something, put it in the tote, and then leave the tote in that section and casually stroll over to another section (like ABH), collect a few things there and then bring those items back to the benefit section and put them in the tote. I do this bc in the Ul+@s near me, it better if the SAs don’t really see you carrying around a tote, I notice they don’t really speak to you when you don’t have one.
5. Also, when Im placing items in the tote, I put them on the side of the bag facing my body. That way its 100% blocked bc on one side of the bag all you can see is the mirror, while the other side is also invisible bc its near my body.
6. So its been around 10 mins since I enter the store. I swatch, sample, and appear to shop normally all while collecting the items I want in my tote. Now I shop my way over to my blind spot (back of the store, haircare next to the its a 10 products).
7. I casually duck down, making sure there is NO ONE near me, and place the items from the tote into my purse. When finished, I slowly get back up, holding a product from the shelf, and place it into the shopping bag.
8. I casually shop back to the high end makeup part if the store and casually leave the bag somewhere no one is around, and stroll out of the store.Thats pretty much it. Hope this helps someone. If you reblog this outside the community I will find you and kill you 🔫🔫. Happy lifting!

Ok since sunday nights are boring because everything closes early I have decided to share some tip and tricks! I get a lot of asks and usually reply privatly but recently posted one publicly and some people found it super useful so I am going to make a semi-master list of things that work for me. Under a cut of course. This won’t be everything I use but, it will be helpful to people with questions on certain stores/new lifters or if you just are looking for new ways to conceal.
🌸 NUMBER ONE RULE EVER IS KNOW THE AREA of the store. I am not talking about the store layout, type of store, I am talking location of the property. Macy’s can be in shitholes with hella good security or be in snooty folk town with almost non-existent LP.
🌸 Rule 2 NEVER NEVER ASSUME THERE IS NO LP. As stated above even if its a snooty area, they will and can have lp. Example, A very very rich part of my city has a walking outdoor strip mall type thing ( I forget the word) Of literally just makeup stores, mac, sephora, ulta, bloomingdales and whathaveyou. They have a fuck ton of security. But in the higher middle class area its bare none. Always explore all options of places you want to lift and always count the Lp, some will be labeled while others wont, and some may be straight up police officers stationed in that store. This can be good and bad, because it means its a high shrink store so there are quite possibly very easy ways to steal from these locations as the police are mostly a scare tactic. It is up to you, as I have mentioned before I have lifted so much from stores like this its stupid. Use your own judgement.
🌸 Rule 3 ALWAYS no matter what carry your lifting tools on your fucking body. I don’t care if you'rer a dude or androgynouss or whatever you identify as. If you do ever get stopped it saves you automatic jail time and a felony. I keep my hook and mini magnets on my left bra cup and my big magnet on my right bra strap that wrapsaround my body. Exacto knifes and smallscissorss are okay to carry in a bag, pocket w/e because they are not considered to be under the category of intended theft. If you don’t wear a bra, use spanx, a back brace, shoulder braces, even your fucking shoes. This is just me but I also have a fucking lock pick (so extra) But half the good stuff is locked up and their locks are not good at all, you could prob do it with a bobby pin tbh.
🌸 Rule 4 ALWAYS ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WEAR A DISGUISES.I DONT GIVE A FUCK IF YOU ALREADY “blend in” GET A FUCKING DECENT WIG, GET 3, USE MAKEUP TO CHANGE YOUR FACE, GLASSES, CONTACTS, WHATEVER. I have 15 wigs. I use them all. If they ever for some reason tracks something back to you, this is your defense. Don’t confess, obvi. But this is your last line.
🌸 Rule 5 NEVER take more than 10 items from one store (unless its likeclairess or some shit) This will cause them to up their security and you don’t want that. I explained it in a previous post. You want to aim for 3-5 per store.
🌸 Rule 6 OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR WORST ENEMY I should not have to explain this just fucking never do anything in front of them, because it’s human nature their jealously kicks in and they want to tattle. NEVER. Thats the whole reason antis exist. “they get this I don’t and its wrong according to these old white men” whatever just don’t.
Now onto the details. The mini magnets are the small circular ones from home depot, they open any kind of hook blocker, like at sallys on hair extensions or at walmart on some electronics, and you can make yourself a bracelet that either holds them or they cling to for easy access and to not look sus while “examining” the price tag, you and use anywhere between 4 or 6 and be fine. The big magnet I use for clothing tags, bags, anything else magnetic is 15000gs golf detacher I bought online, just google it. Same for the hook. Same for the lock pick if you wana go hard(but please practice first I have had to do this for like 4 years before so yeah). Go to michaels or A.C Moore and get yourself the exacto knife and small scissors. And get a pack of rubber bands, they are a game changer. Bit tall boots, you can drop things in, panties, makeup, accessories, whatever as you go! Please wear thick socks tho or else your feet will hurt. You can take them out in the bathrooms. SPANX! Use to conceal palettes, brushes, even clothing literally almost anything really, HUGE game changer.
SEPHORA- I went into a pretty detailed explanation for sephora last post, so I will just copy paste that and put in a few more tips For sephora it’s completely dependent on the location. Similar to ulta, in the poor parts of town they usually have beefed up security so try to go for richer, snooty or middle class stores. If your sephora is in a mall, leave it for last as in your last lifting stop before you leave. If it’s a stand alone sometimes you can get away with just walking out with a bag (like the tote I have done this 4 times) if it’s busy. In every sephora I have been to they have a big slanted display for the sephora brand products and at least 3 big ass pillars with mirrors on them. Usually only one side of the slanted display is covered by cameras ( I can think of 3 locations like this off the top of my head), And you can do the walk and conceal method when passing by a pillar that is blocking you from view ( This is my favorite ) just make sure your not on the mirror side doing this lmao. Do this as you are browsing, and try to make sure no SA’s see you with said item. Example: Find a palette, grab it look at price, swatch, walk to blind spot drop in bag and keep walking to next target item. Lastly you can always find blind spots in regular makeup aisles, every sephora I go to has at least 2-3 blind spots just in general. Your biggest problem in sephora are the SAs. They will make or break your trip, I swear to god sometimes they can be the most annoying racist shits ever. I am white passing, but I am latina and if you try hard enough you can tell and I swear to god I was at this uppity sephora and the manager and 2 sa’s followed me around, legit isle to isle just staring with their arms crossed. If this happens, don’t even try I think I only got some lipsticks on that trip it was horrible. But do not ever be rude to them, that will make you memorable and you do not want that. If you are approached be nice, if asked if you need help, say I am looking for -insert vague item here- and I think I found it I am just comparing, or No thank you I am gift shopping and know what they want, ect. Do not ever say anything that will make them want to help you because they will just drag you around forever and waste not only your time, but if you already looked at a product because they showed you then go back to it later its weird. Also I know everyone says “If they offer you a basket they are on to you” but thats just not true all the time. It is literally part of their job to be helpful and that is considered being helpful. Pay attention to their tone and body language if they do hand you one, but most of all watch to see if any other SA’s are watching you. The little shopping totes can be quite useful at times too, for having decoys on top and whatnot. If you are ever recognized and you are in a different disguise, Immediately play dumb and leave like 5 mins later and don’t go back for at least 3 months. It happens, it is fine and no reason to freak out. Sephoras inside a JCP are not impenetrable, but please use this as a last resort. Wear long sleeves, in trend. I have a long black sweater with ties around the wrist and the sweater hangs over my hands, this is perfect for this kind of store. Hold your phone in one hand, and find an item, hold it with your phone, and detag the rfid strips with your thumb, but don’t look like an idiot just standing there fidgeting, keep browsing, testing products, moving around. Moving around make it harder for any lp to follow you or see what you are doing. act calm, act natural.
ULTA - This is pretty tricky. Pay attention to your state laws first and foremost. Ulta will ignore policey and chase you/grab you/ get your plate/ block your car if they know you stole or REMEMBER you from a previous visit. Park FAR FAR away. The LM boxes ( white boxes that are light sensitive) are basically just stickers. Unless you have an inside person at an ulta, the only 2 ways around these are taking the item out of the box that the LM is on and putting the empty box back, or coming on shipment day before they are all tagged and everything is out in carts. Ulta’s difficulty can range from location to location, some don’t use LM on every palette, some do, some only use them on perfume. The RFID’s that are found on most other makeup product can be either peeled off or cut with your exacto knife. hair care and skin care have never had tags in my experience, but always check. Ulta has pretty shitt cams but still try not to conceal on them, they do have a million blind spots, use them. Always have decoys. This is different than my sephora technique because I conceal all at once and usually leave, so I get decoys to make it seem like I am still carry the items. I honestly hate going to ulta, but I have figured out the safest times to go is ( for me, this might not be for everyone) either Sundays around 4:30-5, shipping days, or fridays from 6-7. Ulta rearranges their stores quite frequently, if you happen to go on a day like this you are in luck! lots on blindspots and boxes stack high and random shelving units.
Starbucks- Usually only one or 2 cameras, sometimes none. I have 3 that have none that i frequent for snacks and cups. Just make sure a customer doesn’t see you and its easy as shit.
MALLS- This is probably where most everyone does lifting, so I am going to make a post about rules for malls. ALL MY OTHER RULES APPLY STILL. Go to the bathroom 2 or 3 times during your visit. Never take anything out of the packaging. If you beep, keep walking at a normal pace. Always carry a reusable shopping bag ( even 2 if you plan to lift a lot ) it is not suspicious and is an easy access quick conceal. If you don’t have one, go to some store like hot topic, box lunch, forever 21, aerie, and just ask for a bag. Make sure its not see through and big enough to carry what you want but not obnoxious. As for the whole in the side of the bag concealing method, cut a hole in the side of paper bags to slide things in, while this is a great tip PLEASE use your exacto knife to cut the slit, and make sure whatever bag you are using is not white. If you try to use scissors, the cut will be way to noticeable. Cut exactly where the crease is naturally in the bag. Only use this for small items, like lipsticks, hair pieces, jewelry, ect or you can risk ripping your bag and then you are fucked. Make the cut towards to top of the bag, so when you hold it closed its virtually unnoticeable and the weight of the items in your bag won’t cause continuous ripping of your slit. ALWAYS be friendly to SA’s. I legit just make small talk about how their day is and retail sucks and share a bit about myself, it makes you WAY less suspicious because you come off as an honest, nice person. This is KEY in smaller stores, IE zumies, HT, Aerie, whatever. BE NICE. RELATE. ALL SA’s ARE DOING IS THEIR JOB DON’T BE A DICK. I also sometimes have one earbud in listening to music and lightly singing it helps deter the SA approach.
HOT TOPIC- Literally the easiest thing in the world. you can pick up items you want, if they have a tag hold them under your arm (the one with the magnet) while continuing to look at other things and hide the magnet in whatever you were looking at. Rinse and repeat.
ZUMIES- Tbh I stopped going here and like, cosmic and tilly’s when I was like 16 so I can’t really give too much info besides I believe the one I did go into had massive blind spots, you don’t need the fitting rooms to conceal if you are kind to the SA. They will leave you alone after that.
ClAIRE’S/ICING- like, idk this is so dumb just dump whatever you want in your bag avoid mirrors and pay attention to the SA. If they are giving a piercing its a free for all. Overall SA’s here really do not care and are either swamped with paperwork or overwhelmed because its only them in the store with 16 kids or 15 teenagers. I feel for them.
VS/PINK- OK long awaited post about this shit company. I feel zero regret stealing from them. I am going to copy paste my previous reply with added detail. For VS, you have to see if its busy or slow. If it’s busy, I usually get a tote and get about 7 items (not including panties) but only steal 3 and only some undies in the fitting rooms and listen for no SA to be outside when you exit and just leave the tote in the little tote/rack thing. If its slow you can find blind spots in the store and remove the pencil tags easily if you carry your magnet like I do (in your bra strap that goes around your body) just holding it under your arm while looking at another item or w/e and just hide the tags as you go, or as always throw them away in the trash cans in the fitting rooms. Trash cans can also be found in the store, so use them as well. If you want something with a hanger, either take the hanger with you and ditch it somewhere else (or keep it like I do they are so soft) or find something to switch it out with. Most of the time they will have hanging items, and folded items of the same design and I tend to grab those. 2 I got today didn’t even have tags on them. VS and PINK are both a giant question mark until you get to the store on how much you can get away with or if you can get anything. This store is where the reusable totes come in most handy, and use your rubber bangs to make bulky clothing less bulky. If you are using a tote they provide, you can put perfumes/makeup/socks/sandals/ w/e in them and hide hem under clothes if you want them. a good bulky distracting item to get is a robe ( even the velvet/satin ones in the VS section are good), because it covers SO much and most sa’s assume that plus like 1 or 2 things is all you have. Also vs and pink all have blind spots in the store, the legging racks, VS sport, and the little walkways between sections are ones I have noticed. Good places to conceal if you don’t want to rick fitting rooms because if the SA is in a super duper mood fitting rooms can be somewhat difficult.
BEST BUY- So its not impenetrable but it is hard. The person at the front is the “main” AP (asset protection) and they have monitors that cover most of the store. Be nice to them, seem normal, and it will make it easier. I have someone in bb so its easier for me to get things but either way its not impossible since I have lifted from them before I knew my guy. Least monitored sections are housewares, and believe it or not TVS. I am going off my stores so take all this with a grain of salt. Best buy marks up ALL their products ridiculous amounts (1 year rosetta stone is bought for $15 and sold for $120) so yeah they are kinda dicks. If you DO chance it with best buy, so for small items, grab a distraction, shop around for a blind spot, conceal the small item, and go back to where you got your big item and compare again. Do not leave asap, shop around, then always say have a nice day on your way out. Be careful each store is different. here is a story : there is a best buy near me that used to have a HUGE shrink rate, for ALL kinds of theft, orc, employee, petty, you name it and it happened there. UNTIL a new GM was hired and he was like no this is not happening and installed a completely new camera system, it was very very expensive but guess what, they now catch everyone who tries to steal and have the lowest shrink rate in the state. If you abuse your spots, they will fight back so don’t ever ever ever take some memorable amount or this will happen.
Target- I rarely fuck with target because its where I get my medications so I can’t really help you here.
Aerie- On floor concealing is best, lots of displays to hide behind. no cameras ( at least at my location) Always be aware of SA’s.They change their clothing often so if you see something you love I suggest getting it before its gone for good.
Forever 21- Honestly I rarely lift from here anymore. Most of it rips or falls apart, that includes clothing and accessories. I don’t recommend them at all. If you MUST fitting room is best option, there are decent blind spots but it is usually too crowded to use them. Honestly I hate this company and everything about them so even stealing from them feel so so wrong. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
BOX LUNCH - MY FAVORITE! I actually try to buy here when I can, they have great bags for the slit method, and their products are AMAZING. They actually sell nendoroids like omg. Best store ever, no cameras, but SA’s can be aggressive, just be nice, relate, and they will move on. Not much is tagged, and if it is just use the method mention for HT.
CVS/WALGREENS- Easy as pie. I always go here for drinks, shipping supplies, food, whatever. Their cameras are extremely shitty except for the ones up front. You can use your body to block is necessary. Both stores have MASSIVE blind spots, in seasonal, grocery, drinks, toiletries. Like is so easy to get vitamins and shit please get some be healthy.
PACSUN- I don’t really like much here, but sometimes they have golden pieces. I always use fitting rooms, bring 4 items and leave 3. they are just such a bare store I cant feel good going in with a ton and leaving with a little. You will need rubber bands and to detag while the music plays.
BnN/BAM!- AMAZING novelty items and books are easy, just find blind spots. I adore these stores because of the increase of certified japanese figure imports ( BTW I COLLECT PLASTIC BUTTS AMIAMI LOVE ME)
Container Store- Cake, usually only 4 cameras, both of the ones I go to don’t have cameras in the bath storage.makeup storage isles so, literal ffa.
Hallmark- No cameras, or one near the toys. Ffa.
DSW/PAYLESS- For dsw, I grab 4 or 5 boxes, 2 of which I want, go to an isle about 2 over from the closets camera, and make a huge mess sitting on one of the mirror chairs. I slide the shoes I want into my purse also sitting on the opposite side on the bench thing using other boxes to block the back angle and put all the paper back and all the boxes except ONE with the shoes in it back, walk around a bit more, then decide not to get them and leave them somewhere. never conceal in clearance, but feel free to look. For payless, just pick an isle without a camera, or if they all have cameras sit on the thing with your back to the camera, stack boxes between your seat and the self to block its view, detag, move into purse.bag. and put lid on box and put box back.
IKEA- So this is gonna be kinda sketchy. I have only done this twice, and I had a partner. So you shop like usual, pick little knick knacks for your cart and write item numbers down. now while your in the actual storage part, you can conceal some of the smaller items you picked out while looking for your right color item or whatever leaning in. To get the big items out, we walked to line, waited for a good 5 mins, then acted like we saw an open register further down. He went to get the car and I push the cart and just push it through the sales point and out the door, smiling at the receipt check holding a safeway receipt lmao. Honestly I have no full proof way for ikea but I do know they are more concerned with ORC and internal theft so thats where most the cameras are. I just really wanted my two alex drawers for my makeup vanity so I took a risk and it paid off.
WIGS STORES- if you do not live in a large city, I Highly suggest ordering a high quality lace front wig online. If you live in a city with good chain wig stores, bring a big bag, and just stuff that mother fucker in there in a blind spot. the main thing with wigs is care, so you will want to get wig care stuff, cleansers brushes, ect. specifically made for wigs.
🌸 For anything designer ( Kate spade, MK, Calvin klein) Go to outlets if possible, if not try to find a macy’s/bloomingdales.lord&taylor/whatever that doesn’t do that stupid string lock bullshit. bring a magnet.
Any more questions just lmk. Thanks for reading and have fun and be SAFEEEEEEEEE!!

good signs when lifting
- employees don’t approach you (this means they’re busy and inattentive)
- there’s many people in the store (this is good because you won’t stand out and you’ll blend in)
- dressing rooms are open (they probably have a low theft rate)
- there’s a group of girls with tote bags (they’ll watch them and not you)
- there’s cameras everywhere (now listen, they’ll think they have good security but lightning concealing will be easy to miss with so many cameras)
- there’s no one standing at the exit suspiciously after you concealed (love you’re good to leave)
