Where did all the drift phonk go-?

I know this sounds like a stupid question but all the phonk now is just brazilian phonk (which isn't phonk at all if you look into it) But like... it all feels the excact same. I remember in 2022 when I had first discovered phonk I listened to the basics. DVRST, Kordhell, MoonDeity, but the difference between that and whatever we have today is that... You know those names. Name 3 'modern' phonk artists. Name 3 'modern' phone songs. I bet you can't, right? Here, off the top of my head, no googling, I'll name as many drift phonk songs as I can. Metamorphasis, Rave, Close Eyes, Murder On My Mind, Vendetta, Ghost, Neon Blade, Scopin, Wake Up- I could go on forever, because all these songs are distinct. Back when I listened to them, I could tell each one apart by the first 30 or so seconds. Now while listening to modern phonk... it all feels the same. Save for one or two songs, I can't name anything by sound. I often have it run in the background, not because I like it, not because it's great but... because it's easy to listen to. It's the minecraft of music. Its become so familiar and serialized that it all blends in. There's one difference between minecraft and brazilian phonk though, minecraft is actually good. Can we please bring drift phone back and get whatever this slop is out of circulation?

I hate how we have stigmatized having fun with hobbies even if it's cringey. Yesterday I was going on a rant in a discord server about pokemon cards (I have a giant collection which I was organizing yesterday) and someone just told me 'its not that deep' which like... ok?! and?! I KNOW IT'S NOT A FIRST WORLD PROBLEM THAT SHINY JIRACHI IS SHIT, LET ME HAVE FUN PLEASE- Like at school I will not pay attention to class at all and just draw the entire class, and one day I was drawing some edgy™ art of my sonas because, why the hell not, and a girl looked over at my art and just said 'dude why are you doing that,,,, it's like so cringey' LIKE YES I KNOW DRAWING MY OC FACING THE CAMERA SAYING 'I was not born to be perfect I was born to conquer' IS CRINGEY, LET ME SIT IN MY EDGE LORD CORNER ALL ALONE THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I posted a tiktok a while ago using a typing quirk and saying 'happy 2020 guyzzzz' and half of my comments were just people hating on the tq, saying it was 2024, and calling me a stupid furry like,,, can't we just have fun? I'm writing a Mizuena fluff beach fanfic with Kanamafu strongly implied, I am aware that it is cringe, so if you tell that to me... just have you had any fun?

I have a weird problem

Hello internet goobers, I have come up with... a singular commision slot, where you need to do a thing for me and recieve my art in returned. Recently I got age banned from tiktok when I am 14, and my account will be deleted on feb 2nd, unless I succsesfully appeal. There are multiple ways to appeal, but one of them is via credit card, where you input your information, tiktok charges you a little bit, sees you're a real human, refunds it, and unbans me. So all I really need you to do is give me what to draw and give me your email, once the art is done (it'll probably take like 2 days max unless otherwise stated) I will input your email in the appeal thing on tiktok, and you need to respond to their email and appeal my account for me. I can swear on my life (and tiktok account ;3;) that I am not a scammer, joking, and can actually draw. If you want, I can send you a watermarked version before you send the appeal to prove that I have actually provided a product, and will send you the un-watermarked version after I get proof that you sent in the appeal. If I actually get unbanned with the help of your appeal, you can get a second drawing for free, and I will promote your... anything, on my tiktok account if requested. This is true. But sometimes my writers brain already can predict the magnificent ways the romance and literally everything begins. It’s like a lesbian superpower.
